Good food, location and ambience. Cooperative staff. However, the management is requested to please keep the electrical equipment in order. The geysers were not working in the bathrooms.

Quality and tasty food, made home style, good stopover while you are visiting Kullu/ Manali, courteous staff.

My parents, relatives always take rest at this place. Their washrooms are clean, food is good and staff workers are really nice.

Good one. Not bad for one night stay. Govt hotels do have very costly food so it better to have outside or carry yours

Great pitstop if traveling ahead from delhi, always spend some time here for drinking tea and taking a small break while traveling. The accommodations are of great quality, highly recommended if traveling late at night and need a place to stay.

Visited the restaurant for breakfast. Food was normal. Nothing special as such. Prices were bit high. Quite spacious. Washroom was not that clean.

Clean and neat place to take a halt. Food is very good, l felt home made food. Tea and snacks are good. Since it has a good parking place many vehicles can be parked at one time

1) Located on main Swarghat road. 2) Parking space available.
3) Nice ambience and seating space. Neat and clean.
4) Not much variety in food.
5) Costly. For e.g Rs 100 for a serving of plain rice.

Plus point: The only good restaurant in that patch of road after Bilaspur.

Tolerable place. Can stay for a day maximum. Avoid the restaurant. Very helpful and cooperative staff.

Don't know about the rooms, as never had a chance to stay for a night or so. But its our favorite spot to stop and relax in peace while have a good cup of tea.

Good for night stay. Big rooms at normal pricing. Food is not so good. Facilities are below average. If there is no option than HPTDC can be an option. Otherwise not advisable for stay.

Better than most of the standard hotels available in any city. Clean and huge, spacious rooms with a cosy feeling. Good food, clean and cosy rooms to stay in and sweet people to talk to. What more does one want! Absolutely loved, loved it!

I think one of the best place to halt for refreshment on Mandi Shimla or you can say Pathankot Shimla highway. Neat and clean and good for family.

A tourism department hotel and restaurant at Swarghat, Himachal, on Chandigarh-Kullu/Manali route. Has an huge Peepal tree with a Shiv template in its front yard. Limited parking available. Excellent wooden interiors of the hotel. No fast food hence patrons need waiting for freshly cooked items. We relished old style kettle tea which was served by polite and courteous staff. Cannot comment on the lodging or meals. Washrooms were quite clean but dared and need modernisation. Overall a pleasant experience.

Indian dhaba. Food was okay.problem was that they were unable to handle large order when our bus which was carrying 28 passenger stopped. They were unable to provide good quality chapatis and food was okayish. Not the grand feeling of classis punjabi dhabas

Nice place to halt at Swarghat on Chandigarh-Manali highway. Enjoy freshly prepared/cooked snacks/meals. Neat & clean restaurant. Courteous staff. Parking and Toilet facilities available. Rooms are also available for stay.

Well guys this is expensive hotel with average quality food. Moreover its in first hill station of Himachal.

You can take your own food to the hotel and can eat at there restaurant. They will also reheat your food, amazing isn't it.

Great hotel but maintenance is on the downsides and the food here is really costly for a govt hotel.
