Jai Durga handloom (near manu temple) cheats the customers, they make false promises about "sapharoo". I purchased from them and completed the duration of (5 years) sapharoo use but still I didn't get anything. Don't purchase anything from this fraud seller.

There is a dhaba at 30 m away from the temple on the left side and you can get good and cost effective food, specially if you are Solo traveller.

The temple is quite old and wooden carver just like how temple's normally are in Himachal Pradesh. It's in Old Manali so you have to take a car or an auto to reach there. But an auto is a better option since the lanes are narrower. You need to walk a bit to the temple. It's in the middle of a locality. The view from there is good. It's quite and peaceful.

Manu Temple is believed to be the only temple of Manu in India, who is considered as the creator of the human race on earth. Located at a distance of 3 km from the main bazaar in Old Manali, the temple is believed to be the abode of Manu, the ancient law-giver of India.

Its close connection with the seventh incarnation of the sage is due to mythology that states his saving the Vedas and the seven sages from inundation during the great flood.

Nice view of mountains around the temple! Try to walk to the temple from down the hill, since the streets are too narrow! We got stuck in the traffic which is coming down the hill! !

It's a fair distance from the main plaza of old Manali. A short walk uphill while you pass small cafes, bakeries, tattoo parlours and other interesting small joints. It's located at a scenic location where one can see the views of the entire valley, including nearby mountains. It consists of age-old stone and wood architecture and known to be a very old and well-revered temple by locals.

हम मनाली जायें ओर मनु का मन्दिर नही देखा तो कुछ नही देखा ।हमारी संस्कृति से जुडा पवित्र स्थान, जहां जाकर एक शान्ति सी मिलती है।थोड़ा अन्दर व संकरे मार्ग पर होने के का, ण यहाँ लोग संभवतः नहीँ जाते हो ।पर बार से आंटी करके जाने में कोई कठिनाई नही है।हम अपने पूर्वजों को जानें, उस लिये भी इस पौराणिक स्थान का अत्यधिक महत्व है ।

Inside of temple, I saw some iron (or it my wood) t shaped one on the top of the hindu status. I am pretty much wondering about it.

It's a wonderful and very important mythological place, it's situated near old manali and path has a very steal slope so it's advised to keep water with you if you are not from native place, this can be a little tough to climb as the oxygen levels are also low.

It's a calm place off the busy streets of old Manali do take a walk past this place you get to see a lot of scenic views, quite an unwind

Its the temple of the Manu rishi in the old manali, The one of the must visit place, Manu Rishi is considered to be the creator of the hindu dharma and the vedas, When the universe was on the verge of extinction, Vishnu blessed manu with and told him to take the navagraha with him so that he can start a new world, he did the same and boarded a ark, but the waves of the ocean were so strong that the ark began to drown, then vishnu with his matsya avatar pushed the ark and saved it from drowning, one head of the ark was hit by a rock and so from there manu reached earth and that was the place where the temple is now situated.

Local people are maintaining it well. Therefore I request the visitors to have respect for these old places and the people so attached to them. Simple Pagoda style temple. People take good care of this place and were very good to us too.
