Jakhu Ropeway Shimla, a thrilling ride to Jakhu Temple. Sweeping vistas and convenience combine for a memorable journey to the hilltop sanctuary. Enjoy!
Christ church Shimla se 2 Km hai Ropeway. Rs. 490 Ticket price for up-down (Adult). There is lift from going floor to ropeway where you have to wait for 20 minutes to get your turn. Canteen facility is present in waiting area. Wax statue of Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be there for you to click free photographs. Ropeway will take you to Jakhu Temple (Shri Hanuman g Temple).
It's a cable car ropeway connecting Jakhoo to Mall road. The boarding point is almost 400 m from Mall road. It's a mediocre experience and is expensive. It's worthwhile only if you have never been on a cable car and it's on your list, otherwise it's not worth it. The cable cars are surrounded by tall trees and the view is blocked so you won't have much fun in it. The cable car at Gulmarg and Auli (if you have been there) are much better.
If you have been on any of the cable cars before you can skip it. It's nothing great and you won't regret missing it. They charge 295 including gst per person for a 6 minutes one way ride to Jakhu temple. The only good thing was the view of entire Shimla from 11th floor of the building as well as from gondola. Alternative to cable car to reach Jakhu temple can be a taxi which charges 400 bucks for both up and down from Ridge.
Oh. God. It's absolutely thrilling. Rs. 290 for single trip. ₹550 for two ways. Jakhu tample is must visit place in shimla. Ropeway will add additional adventure
Loved this place. Ropeway made it so convenient to reach Jakhu Temple and take Blessings of Sri Hanuman. Ropeway is being nicely managed. Staff was also courteous.
If'u looking a cheap way or (cost effective) you may also take hrtc taxis from old bus stand the rope will charge 550 per person (price for 2 way) Hrtc will 50 to 60 per person (price for 2 way) It's near 300mt from church U also take a step from there Please give me a feedback It's helpful for you.
Exorbitantly priced at ₹550 per head. Worth one time for the top view of Simla Hanuman statue and the temple on top are a good attraction for tourist. Adventure games for kids and lunch at 'Under Tree Cafe' would need 3hrs to cover this point
Extremely costly as compared to the ropeway.there are only 4 cabins on this.and the charges are ₹500+ gst per person. There is waiting line as well.instead of ropeway prefer the road way.
The ropeway provides an excellent view of Shimla town. In terms of convenience, however, it has not much to offer. Cabs take you to Jakhoo Temple for Rs. 100 only as against Rs. 295 charged for ropeway. Beyond reach of a majority of tourists.
First experience of my lifetime and it's worth every minute and every penny. Well to be price it's 6-8 mins of ride for something ₹ 300. But the view of shimla you will be mesmerizing.
They offer a ride from the ridge to the world’s largest Hanuman temple. The cable car is for six people at a time. They charge 550 for a round trip which is quite high but worth the view.
It's a life time experience. Bit costly though.they should bring down the cost to 300/-. Otherwise one can opat for one way trip. Going up. And come down walking to enjoy nature.
₹295/- per adult person is the fee (₹250+₹45 gst). Cable car slides very close to tree branches and around 4 to 6 people can sit one time.one can see nice view of Shimla city if whether is clear
At 550 for two way ticket &250 for one way, the ropeway is cheaper than neighboring timber trail. 6 min one way ride to Temple and 6 min back. The view of the city & pine forest below is spectacular. Provides easier access to the temple. The waiting lounge of the ropeway also well maintained. Ice cream, Coffee and popcorn & washrooms present. Accepts card payment for tickets but only cash for eatables.
Visited shimla after a long time and happy to see that one can easily reach jhaku in merely ten minutea. Though the fare is a little high but kids enjoyed it.
