You can enjoy a wonderful experience. You need to trek for 5 min to view the real beauty of the waterfall. Must try the local food available near the waterfall. The journey going through the hill will give thrill and suggesting to have good functional motor vehicles or can book the cab. Don't drive without having experience in driving in hill stations.
It was amazing.view was so exciting and here you can share maggi with your partner while sitting on a waterfall side.very easy to reach out there.just 5min (4 to 500m) away from the highway.amazing experience
A beautiful & peaceful place near Manali. One can relax inside the waterfall plunge pool as there are benches to sit. You can enjoy tea & snacks here & also homemade local food from the nearby Mani Ram Dhaba
The fall has two small falls on its either side as well. You can also visit them.
There is also a hike up along the main fall, and there are two more eating points as well.
A must visit place for all those who enjoy nature & greenery. The Road to Jana Falls is quite adventurous as it passes through dense forest environs & road is narrow but motorable.
Naggar village is the point on Old Kullu road from where you had to take left towards Jana Village if you are coming from Manali side.
Jana Waterfall- Another 7km but it's complete off roading experience. If you planning to travel jana waterfall make sure you do it during day time only. Highlights of Jana Waterfall- Local Himachali Thali that's the showstopper at ManiRam ka Dhaba
This place is not known by many but people who like to explore often come here, a nice place enclosed by long trees and apple orchids everywhere, do not take personal vehicles but a local driver or cab as they have experience over the roads, extremely dangerous one way roads, trucks are always loading there and ready to departure. There are local villages which provide home stay options, authentic local food delicacies, people who want some peace definitely should visit and stay a day or two, must visit.
Only attraction is the view, water falls and local cusine. People willing to have a peaceful time away from hustle of the crowded tourist places of manali can visit here to sink in with nature.
Its One of the best place you can visit in manali and what can i say abt the views. I recently visited there and it was amazing out there looking at mountains, waterfall and the beauty of Himachal. There's also maniram's dhaba. They served the best local foods of manali. I personally enjoyed there food and makke di roti was sooo delicious with some ghee and sakar. Woah im not at all drooling But still its not worth the trip you have to waste your whole day just to eat at maniram's dhaba. There's nothing like waterfall here! Its waste of your trip to go there by car which you rent it for 3k to 4k! And you just get this local food by going upto mountain for 3 to 4 hours just for this! Hope you don't waste your time
There are about 3 falls here, water is sufficient to call them a fall. The best looking one at the last one of the 3 falls which is about 100 m ahead of the first one and it’s worth to visit that one.
Jana water fall is about 34 km from Manali. It is 12 km from Naggar. The waterfall is small but very beautiful. The overall set up and the road from Naggar onward is worth enjoying. Don't miss to have the red rice and rajmah there.
Awesome location. 35km distance from manali. Road also amazing. Local himachali thali available here. Specially maniram dhaba. Amazing food available. Zipline activity also running here
Total disappointment, not worth to add into your tour or visit list. Avoid visiting this place if the weather is not good. You can see plenty of such waterfalls on the way to rohtang.
Entry here is free, but it's been unnecessarily been made a place of tourist importance as the waterfall is man made and there is hardly anything worthwhile, other than some restuarant offering local cuisines. You can visit here if you have surplus time, as reaching this place can be arduous as the roads at certain places are not on best of condition. Don't expect much, and you may just like it.
Small but beautiful waterfall. There are 3 levels and first is on the road. As you climb up the crowd gets lesser. There are better waterfalls in the Kullu Manali region for sure but this also has a great route. You can enjoy it more than the destination
It's a good place to visit. Very less people know about this place. There two or three local food joints there. If you want to eat good and authentic local himachali food then try Sagar thakur dhaba instead of much hyped Maniram dhaba. Maniram dhaba is only hype. Sagar serves the best food.
Had Makki ki roti and lingri (local vegetable) along with rajma rice and pur ghee at one of the local dhabas. The food is cooked in wood fire. It was delicious
