Food is really bad and not at all worth it. Visited enough times now to be sure about it. They have not improved even after complaints.
Only go there for the bar. Still the food will not be good.

A must visit place if you want to enjoy authentic Tibetan cuisine. The menu offers large number of dishes. The portion size is quite generous. The food tastes really amazing. The restaurant is located on first floor, while the bar is on the second floor. The service is very fast. Don't miss out this place if you are in Mcleodganj!

Lovely place to enjoy authentic Tibetan cuisine. Every dish was fresh. Good portion, reasonable price. Tingmo and Ema Datsu is must try dish. Mutton Shaptak makes you lick your fingers. Thukpa was delicious. Kaku served with a smile and excellence.

Incredible thukpa! The portion was generous and the flavours were perfectly balanced. The noodles had a nice bite to them and there was plenty of fresh veggies and meat too. Service was quick as well!

Nice place to visit, not very busy when we visited. Tried some traditional Tibetian dishes.we had Pork Septa- very was tasty, Dumpling Soup- was lovely, Chicken Momo- was nice, though could have been juicier.

Very very unfair and SCAM

First time I went there, good food, a menu that had certain changed prices

Next time I went there, with two other foreign nationals, they gave us the only three menus that are different from rest others. The prices much different.

Even when I asked the server that this is a different priced menu, he first told me it's not. Then he insisted it's not. Very dishonest.

When I checked the other menus lying on the counter, I found out he was of course lying. Because I clearly remembered the prices of dishes from the first trip

All of this even after leaving such a generous tip on the first visit.

Left a bad taste. Never expected a Tibetan establishment to act like this. I have lived in these parts for very long as a Buddhist student and I like to support Tibetans. But I can't ever support these scams.

The food was outstanding. And moreover the quantity was good.everyone should visit this place once in life. Overall loved this place

It's a very warm and cosy place with awesome ambiance. Situated in Temple road right at the start of the road. The Quantity of food is perfect. One must try crispy chicken honey with beer. Best place to go with friends.

What a wonderful ambiance and good food. While I enjoyed the Gyuma thoroughly, some of their other food like the Shaptak were heavily influenced by the Indo-Chinese/Chindian Hot and Sweet Sauce. But the Tingmo was the standout dish for me personally. Muah! Their selection of teas was impeccable and their prompt service was much appreciated. Visiting on Monsoon evenings are advisable for beautiful valley vistas. Looking forward to trying out more Tibetan cuisine in the future!

A co place to have meeting and chatting with friends while having zumptous dinner and drinks (beer) with awesome Tibetan snacks like gyuma and shabta.

They have a nice selection of raw food, including but not limited to all natural tofu, rice namkeens etc.a nice small spot to chill out

Horrible service to the core. We went to this restaurant at about 9.30 pm and placed our order at 9.45 pm. They didn't even let us know that they were not able to serve food. Later on after we had a few drinks we were told that what we had ordered could not be delivered. When we shared feedback we were treated very coldly with no regrets from the manager, not even an opology. They may serve good Tibetan food but if they don't treat their Customers well, this is not a place to dine in. We shared with the manager our displeasure and were treated very coldly as well. Overall a horrible experience. Please avoid this place as they don't treat their Guests well. Horrible Customer Service and I'll treatment meted out to Customers. Poor taste in the mouth from McLeodganj! I will never come back again.

Food was ok, didn't like finding a cockroach under the Tibetan bread I finished eating. See pictures.

The most racist restaurant in mcleodganj. They are so anti-indians (only prefer Tibetan customers) that they would ignore you completely won't take order act weirdly and rudely and keep on making you wait forever for your order. In my experience they made me wait for veg momos for one and half hour and then I have to cancel the order. Later after complaining on reception for the service they were least bothered for the feedback and not even apologise for once. So I would really not recommend this restaurant for anyone.
