Kandrour Bridge

It's the second highest bridge in asia and nowadays stray cattle can be seen sitting on it enjoying the views

Kandraur bridge was highest bridge of Asia but the pace of time now it stands 2nd in the row. It's a very good piece of engineering in the early sixties.

The bridge is the lifeline of the two towns which has been standing for more then 30 years.

One of the highest bridges in the Asia, probably 3rd highest. The bridge is around 100m above the Sutlej river also containing the water of govind sagar lake. Its not actually a tourist destination but just a road leading to the other destination

Its a good location but because of some fools its known to be a suside spot to solve this issue govt. Had installed some barriers at both the sides of the bridge so no one can try to jump from here

Earlier it was most deep bridge in Asia but now it came to second place as chicham bridge also situated in Himachal Pradesh takes its place

This bridge is situated on 'River Satluj' at village Kandrour, on NH-88. Earlier, the bridge has got the regard of 'Highest Bridge in Asia' having the height of 80 meters from lowest water level. Now, its position has changed to 3rd or 4th. This bridge was built in 1960's.
