I had an amazing stay at Khem Bharti Homestay! Bharti Ji's kindness and helpfulness were truly exceptional. Aunty's cooking was a highlight - her food is simply the best. The cozy and raw rooms added to the charm of the stay. What stood out the most was the incredible hospitality - they are not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. A five-star experience all around!

Amazing calm and quiet location with great hospitality by OM. Cottages are newly built. It was actually an experience of nature camp. Thoroughly enjoyed.

This place is just like your home. Good food, pocket friendly, parking, close to the river, all kind of amenities in close proximity like cafes shops wine shops fruit shops fisheries. It will make you come back to the same place again amd again.
Rooms were pretty big with views and huge balconies.

Service of the staff was just exceptional everyone went out of their way to be helpful and attentive. When we walked into the hotel we were immediately given a warm welcome which was particularly nice after travelling so far. Our room was very comfortable. The homestay was superb and the staff could not do enough for us. Food was very good and the choice was amazing.

Editing after reply from owner - yes u hosted last year. The experience was pathetic, aunty is nice and humble but the host is rude and ruthless.

We visited the home stay on our last day of spiti trip. After the long tiring journey the stay here was very relaxing with cozy
rooms and delicious food cooked byaunty herehelf. Highly recommended for the location, hospitality and warmth

The food and the service were very good. The location is on the banks of Tirthan river. A good location with good food at a reasonable price.

I recently visited this place.the food they cooked for us was delicious. The place was neat and clear especially a picturesque. We all loved the way they treated us.

One of the oldest homestay in Tirthan Valley and the best homestay in terms of service, food and location. Khem Bharti Ji is very helpful, and have lots of stories to tell whereas Miss Bharti herself cooks the home-made food. Not to forget the caretaker Pawan who is very helpful and friendly. All of them are very humble. And also their camp-site which is very close to nature.
Must visit both of them!

Nice place with a wonderful host.but rooms and bathroom need a bit renovation.bathroom is facing towards kitchen in some rooms which makes the smell enter and creates a stink.

This is the first time i hv experienced such a poor hospitality. The owner mr khem bharti was extremely rude when we complained about the bad quality of food which didn’t taste good at all.at night when we were in our room his son came and threatened us that he wont let us pass the valley in morning. Apart of all this they charged us too way much for camping which was not reasonable. So whenever any one visit tirthan advisable not to take any service from them else u may end up experiencing much worst.

The room was not as beautiful as seen in picture. Also the river bed is not adjacent to the homestay. The heavily stinking outlet of rest room was pathetic. The food and behavior of Roshni was impressive. The most painful part was the very rude behavior of the owner Mr Khem Bharti to our driver without any reason or provocation. We decided to cut short our stay there.

I have been visiting this homestay for past 3 years. But this time the hospitality and service was really horrible this time. Unfortunately, the flourishing of their business have gotten their heads high. I really used to enjoy hospitality at this place. The owner even charged double for camping for GNHP trekk as his commission.

It's better to stay at the camp site of khem bharti. It's very near to nature and just near the stream. The food is so so.but the bonfire and the ambience is awsome

If you are looking for a nice, peaceful and comfortable stay then this homestay is definitely a "yes"! The people are extremely humble and receptive. Food is also delicious. They took care of all our needs and ensured that our stay is super comfortable.

The rooms are decent. The washrooms are clean. The food is good and if you are a non vegetarian you will get chicken or fish or even a wild chicken at night the lunch is relatively simple.
He also provides a guide and fishing rods for fishing. And if u catch a fish like we did they will fry it for you and it will be the most satisfactory trout you have ever had. So the overall experience was pleasant with just a little hickup.
The owner seemed very nice and all very happy to chat with you. But on the last day he did try to hassle us for more money by saving that airbnb (from where we had booked the rooms) had by mistake charged us lesser money (not at all the case though) if we didn't know about this stuff he probably would have taken 4-5k more.

I have been to gusheni 4 times and this is what I think of this homestay.
This homestay looks exactly the way it is, except it's location. It is on road and is no where near to River bed. The rooms are a bit conjusted and there is a very conjusted sitting space outside the rooms.
They have shown just the upper rooms which have a sitting space and not the lower ones.
If you are looking for a place with a view and open space to relax, this isn't the place for you. There aren't any views on anyside of this homestay.
The biggest dissapointment was that in photos they show beautiful place to stay, but actually it is not. It is just like other homestay on the road side with no view at all.
The food may be good, but no one travels from Delhi to Himachal just for food. One needs some open space and sceneries too. Rather than booking your stay here, look for tent accommodation near the river bed or other homestay which are at river bed.
Don't fall in trap layed by putting photos which does not show the road attached to it.
