It was a great experience and the travel agency was very supportive. Our driver Pradeep Thakur ji got the most support, which made our trip succesefull.

It is a small bird park just opposite Indian institute of advance studies. Only few birds exist. The place is not well maintained. You can smell birds droppings. Not worth the visit.

Small and cute bird sanctuary. Best part was the birds were left open under the huge netted roof. You can see yourself admist. Beautiful birds. Lovely place for. Kids to get excited.

You can spend some 20 mins here opposite to viceroy building. Its a big cage filled with different kind of birds. We will go inside the cage to see the birds.

This place is Sititued on the other side of the front gate of Indian Institute of advanced studies, shimla. The place is nearby to the old bus stand (about 3 -4 km) and toy train railway station, but you have to take taxi to reach over there as it is on some height.if you are visiting Indian Institute of advanced studies campus than you can also go through this place, there are different species of colorful birds are there, the park is small and you can take a round in just 5-10 minutes, there is some nominal charge of 10-20 rupees for entry is there.

A small place on a hill located just outside IIAS. You can find variety of beautiful birds. You can find peacocks and different bird species. They colourful, chirping and they will be happy to display there beautiful wings.

I hope this place should be given more facelift and advertisement. A must place to visit for your children and you. You won’t find some of the birds in your place.

There are only few birds in this park.mainly there is one monal 2 peacocks few ducks and 2 or 3 diffrent birds

A nice place for children especially and others also, to visit.
Situated in front of Indian Institute of Advance Studies, famous and historical place.
Best thing is that u may watch Himalayan birds very closely.

In front on Indian institute of advance studies. This place is very small but don't worry every place has it's own importance. Kindly visit and explore this place. I will post few pics later but yeah you should go there. Entry fee is nominal.

This park is located at the bottom of presidential house or Indian institute of advance studies. You can see many kind of bird species here. This is a well maintained park and one can see it for a nominal price. Cover this park in your tour to Indian institute of advance studies.

Kids will enjoy as birds roam freely in cage but u are not allowed to touch them. Fee 20 Rs per person. Its 2 min from & front of Institute of Advance studies

If you r interested in Himachal birds then its a nice place for you where you get different types of birds specis that are found in Himachal

The entry fee is quite cheap and there are a few exotic looking birds to be seen. But its a very small place and some of the stuffed animals on display were in horrendous condition
