Kukkargunda Snow Valley Camps

The place is quite serene. The view is breathtaking. The campsite in itself is humble but it is more than made up by its wonderful staff who not only cook amazing local food but take care of all your needs. They (Deshraj ji and Rajkumar ji) helped us trek around, even got us amazing local wine and sat down around the bonfire with us telling stories of their various journeys in life. The tent is a very basic one with no WiFi service. Hotspot is provided by the staff anytime we want. All the electronics need to be given for charging in the main room/kitchen. I'd definitely suggest everyone to try "Lungru" sabzi and "Seera" sweet dish made out of a pahadi fruit. Even the dahi with the breakfast aloo paratha was heavenly. So all in all pack light and definitely visit this place which can be reached by only trekking as of now.

Just make sure you don't have airtel sim. You won't get any network.

Really amazing site with humble hosts. The site will not disappoint you. The tents are basic but that's what camping essentially is. The hosts are great in attending to any need you have and the food they cook is locally sourced and cooked on site. You might not have network here but wifi is available whenever you ask the staff for it. Perfect place to detach from the city life and be intune with self and nature. Can't recommend this place more.

Deshraj was a super host. Had traditional delicacies like Tutakhad and Lamb. Went trekking to Palachak and Panetu and Jhodi Falls. Next day, we trekked to Billing. Awesome experience at economical pricing.
