La Vaca India Manali (Vashisht)

I stayed in the private room, room was neat and clean. View is awesome however it is a bit task to reach there and autos are expensive.
Overall a good stay

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a nice, clean room with a small balcony (good view). It was beautiful and very quiet. There is a common room and a shared balcony:)

The stay is awesome near Vashist temple. Each room has a balcony and the view is awesome. The price is affordable compared to other hotels and hostels. The food tastes good. The room is neat and the service is good. I have been to this place twice and will prefer to stay here on future as well.

Standard simple rooms, but absolutely SPECTACULAR view! The entire team - Atul, Laloo, Durga and Kapil - are extremely warm and friendly. There's parking at the hotel and the food is delicious and homely. But the view is an absolute winner!

This was my go-to hotel for the last 10 years when it was still called valley view. Unfortunately a new greedy owner with zero taste welcomes you with oversized pictures of horror movie stars painted on the walls and he has elevated the room price from 500 to 1500 rupees without changing anything other than the paint job (and that paint job is rather unfortunate!). The hotel next door to the left offers very nice rooms for 700 and the walls are painted in neutral colors (and they have solar showers).

Friendly atmosphere

The best thing about this property is the location. It is far from the crowd, unlike manali. The view is majestic, the common area is also well maintained and the staff is well mannered. The room and toilet were clean.

Good place to stay.but.if you are going in off season i would recommend you zostel manali instead

I was there in the month of july, this hostel is 2km less away from the city and has a very peaceful atmosphere

We enjoyed our stay after a long trip around Himachal Pradesh. It's a relaxing place with nice views from the rooms which are very comfortable. They also have a perfect parking.

One of the best hostel/hotel for view in Vashist, manali is too mainstream and Vasisht is an alternative. I would recommend this place just for the view, I think everything else can be managed as you come to Manali for nature.

Hotel is at best location, from rooms balcony you can see all the mountains and even river.
I've been in manali before, but this experience was the best because of the Location, View, service at the hotel. Also, the hotel staff was so refreshing and polite.
Whenever you have any issue or you need any kind of information. The staff will help you with a big smile on face.

It's at a prominent location, near the Vasisht Temple Manali. Also it has good view and the staff is nice and helpful.

View from room was the only good thing with this hotel.the staff was so not so good with the treatment & above all. They were so obsessed with their towels. We asked for 2 towels as we were 2 people.they refused instantly for the same & said that only 1 towel is provided. We booked the room through bookings.com where it was clearly mentioned that part payment is required to be made at the time of check-in but the staff insisted for the full payment before check-in. Over-all not satisfied with the stay.

It was a nice stay there. We have booked three rooms there, View from every rooms were outstanding. However Services could be improved.

The Manager Mr. Lalu was a nice person.

I would love to stay there again in my next visit.

We were group of five girls. This place Felt like home.clean safe and budget friendly. Host and all other staffs were very helpful. View from property was mesmerizing. Food was delicious too. Will definitely stay at this property in our next trip to manali

We were 13 people who had occupied rooms as well as dorms in the month of June for a day. The temperature was pleasant and it wasn't raining then.

The ambience of the hostel is amazing! Loved the interiors!
The rooms were clean and spacious as well.
We had issues with the dorm. The one that we had occupied was a 8 bed dorm out of which 2 were occupied by someone else.
The room seemed tolerable but the washroom was dirty. Im not sure what is the hostel policy for the frequency to clean the bathroom but we just couldnt use it.
They had a common room where there was a entertainment centre and games. Also food is served there.we had the entire room to ourself and it was fun!

View from this hotel is absolutely Great, staff is very friendly and nice. Food is reasonable and and tasty and there is a common living room with good view, Overall this hotel gives you best experience

Affordable and the view from the rooms are soo damn good. You will love the common area its soooooo eye pleasing.

Every room has a balcony. Open space to enjoy natural and mesmerizing view. Little bit congested hotel. Parking is enough for 7-8 cars. Vashisht village is also a bit difficult to reach coz of narrow roads.

Cool place and nice vibes, have a cup of coffee at the roof sitting area or you can take your booz as well.

Bestest hostel in town with best view i recommend to everyone if you visit manali please go for this you'll love it ️
