The USP of the place is definitely the location, it's extremely scenic and located away from the hustle of the main Manali city. But the service is by far the slowest I have experienced anywhere, for basic water also you have to wait for at-least an hour. The manager will not at all pay attention to the numerous complaints placed and will try to put the matter under the rug.

The cottage is situated in Goshal village. It is a very beautiful village in Northern Manali.

What I like most about this cottage is its rooms and the view from the cottage. I suggest you to book east side room those have the best view of the cottage.

Food quality and variety is good and service provided by the staff is impressive. They are all professionals.

Only one thing which I found could be improved are car parking and Reception. Over all experience is good that's why I am giving it a 5 star.

We had a beautiful time at Leela Cottages Manali. The place is cut off from Old Manali, but it's a lovely walk there. Do plan for transport either by bikes or cabs if you plan to step out and explore. We loved the view from the upstairs room - snow peaks, unreal waterfalls and mountains all around. There's a small village you can look at from your window and experience real mountain living. Rahul Bhaiya was super helpful with all the food, water refills. Simple and tasty food available. Highly recommend visiting and spending a few days here!

Poor location. Rooms right on the road. Like it's a walk from the road. Most unsecure location. We made a booking but let it go since they didn't have a chef or staff at that moment. Total waste of time and money. Please avoid it.

- No grocery shop nearby (don't forget to bring toiletries because its not complimentary and you have to go all the way 3-4 kms for it)

It seems like Manager and service staff was overpowering there owner.

Visited leela cottages four days back, went with family so booked 2 King Rooms with mountain view. Room number 301 (the one next to stairs) was bigger than 302 and even had better 270 degree view. Their hotel is constructed in such a way that all their rooms have a nice hill view.

Reaching their hotel was a task, as it was in quiet area so had to drive 3-4 kms up hill from old manali club on very narrow road which sometimes even gets blocked. But, drive is worth for those who love to live close to nature.

Food was ok, not bad but not so delicious. First day service was excellent. First morning we ordered for both the rooms together and received the breakfast in 20-25 minutes. But, on second day for one of the rooms food we ordered at 8: 45 AM and for second room it was ordered at 10: 00 AM. They delivered breakfast for first room almost after 1: 30 hrs at 10: 15 AM, seemed like they prepared or ordered all food together. My mom had to wait 1.5 hrs for the breakfast which brought their services from excellent to very low scale.

But, still recommend for those who love nature and want to stay at secluded place.

STAYING IN LEELA SINCE 4 DAYS. SO FAR WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. OWNER PRAKASH JI, COOK DEV AND STAFF BOY HARISH AND ALSO HOME KEEPING LADY ALL ARE VERY NICE. ROOM SERVICE IS VERY GOOD. ALSO IF YOU NEED ANYTHING LIKE TEA BAG, COFFEE POUCH, SOAP, TOWEL ETC THEY PROVIDE. FOOD IS AMAZING AND EVERYTHING IS COOKED FRESH SO YOU HAVE TO ORDER IT BEFORE. OVERALL I AM ENJOYING EVERY BIT OF STAYING IN THIS PROPERTY FROM VIEWS TO FOOD. A LOVELY PLACE TO ESCAPE HECTIC CITY LIFE.

Amazing budget stay in Manali. Only issue is if there is snowfall cab don't go up easily. Apart from this the view and services are amazing. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Absolutely hated the experience overall, if you're ok with a place where there is no water and room service is provided basis the staffs convenience, ok to order in food atleast two hours prior your meal time, ok to deal with an ABUSIVE management while you request for things, then this is the place you should go to.

The property is amazing. The snow capped mountains and Jogini falls are clearly visible from the room, covered with windows. Spacious room, balcony, good bathroom, antique themed furniture. The attic room is wooden paneled, which keeps it warm. We went in an off-season, but the staff were always there to help us. Chef prepares delicious food. Property owner helped us a lot. Pricing is less when compared to the excellent service they provide. Overall experience was awesome.

Good rooms. Rooms on right side of building have good view. 5 kms from main market. Narrow road. May not be accessible during snow. Can improve on facilities in room, like electric kettle, tea bags, etc. Make shift kitchen & no proper cook. Tea & coffee are very expensive. A cup of coffee will cost you Rs 80/-.

You enter your room and you will feel like you are in heaven. Half the room is windows. You get to see beautiful, snow covered mountains from your bed. Hotel staff is also helpful.
You get to see local village life around the hotel. River flows next to that village. You can walk around village and sit on river bank.

Food could have been better, but you can walk across the river and you have few dhabas, where you can eat Maggie, Paranthas and so many other north Indian dishes.

Best location in Manali Lil bit away from mall road but tis the best place you ever wanna stay in Manali. Best service prime location awesome room neat and clean bathroom as a couple its a best place mountain view is totally awesome hotel staff is also very nice.whoever see my review please trust me nothing is better then this in Manali.

The location is the best part about the property. The continental food is also amazing. Service is a bit slow. The hygiene of the bathrooms can be a bit better. But overall, amazing experience.

This is the best place in Manali (actually the nicest place we have stayed in all of India or maybe the world, seriously)! Home away from home, views of the waterfall & the glaciers from the comfiest bed, with soft, clean, white bedding. It’s a little ways out of town but SO worth the drive! The balcony is gorgeous, the morning light that comes over the mountains before sun rise is unreal, perfect for yoga & coffee in the morning. The room service they provided was beautiful & tasty as well:) thanks guys! We love Leela
