The property is well maintained and rooms were clean. The rooms have attached kitchen and living room which makes it a great place for groups. And the view is beautiful. Very happy with the service and tariffs of the Homestay. Food was very tasty. Service was top notch. Rooms are clean.

Hidden gem in Kasauli. What a place to be and good service. Just 1.5km before Mall Road. The entry with a car is a bit scary for newby drivers and you may moss the cut from the main road but once you are in its awesome. They have parking for around 5 cars at max. They will arrange Bon fire for you, arrange dinner/breakfast outside amidst nature. They don’t provide lunch though. Mall road is walkable and the place is so quiet and beautiful! Mr Jony is the caretaker and he takes care of their customers. You need to order in the evening if you want dinner because they buy and cook fresh! Very comfortable and beautiful experience staying at Mahal Farms. The rooms were clean and service was great. The location is also not so far from the city centre, if you are okay to walk a bit.:)

Mahal Farms is heaven on earth having best location, amidst refreshing beautiful flowers and greenery facing awesome view of the hills and ice clad mountains behind.
The rooms are comfortable, private and having all the amenities.
The food is home cooked and served by sweet boys Ganesh and Pinto who are always ready to serve you. The Owner is Charming, helpful and dynamic Mr Sandeep Singh Mahal having a good assistant as Mr Johnny who is a courteous care taker.
Mahal farms is very much pet friendly and my pets, labrador 'Jiya' and lahsa 'Phantom 'had an exiting and happy stay here. This made our holiday a memorable one.
We all relaxed and Rejuvenated ourselves. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our pets were very happy, and this made us happier indeed.

The windows of the west end room in which i stayed opens up to a magnificent valley shrouded by pine trees, somewhere some houses are seen as white dots in the valley.the main door of the room leads to a relaxing area (shade), where one can have his breakfast admiring the scenic beauty that surrounds the hotel

Staff is very nice and friendly. Best point is the location and view from room. It is hardly 10 mins downhill walk from kasauli market which is easy walk. For uphill i recommend a CAB which costs Rs. 600 till market

What a beauty this bnb is. They have three floors with different size and corner and view from rooms. It feels like you are literally living in a mid of a forest. Our stay was perfect here with good hospitality home cooked food and great great view from our room. However most of the times we couldn't see anything since there was fog and clouds entering our room. We also witnessed jugnoo/ firefly, humming bird, parrots and a few more varieties of birds on our window.

Superb n peace full stay, staff is very friendly, food is awesome like a home food, nature, purety and beautiful tree so close to my heart

1. One of the best stay i had in Hill stations, so peaceful and divine and with great views.
2. Owner Ranaji and staff Jony, Yogesh behaviour is good and helpful.
3. Place is around 2 km by road and 1 km by shortcut away from mall road, If you are with family you will definately require taxi service, staff will help u with that and taxi take around 200-300 for mall road and 500 for manki point.
4. Food is homely and good.
5. They say there is water shortage in summers thats why they dont have a pool, if they would have a pool, i will rate it one of the best property in India.

This was our second time staying at Mahal Farms. It’s simply amazing. The staff is really helpful, polite and courteous. It’s a little away from the main road, nestled among forest, hence really peaceful. The property is well maintained and rooms were clean. The rooms have attached kitchen and living room which makes it a great place for groups. And the view is beautiful.

The place is about 20 mins walking from Mall road but the location and vibe is super awesome. The room had few hygiene issues such as some roaches but otherwise everything was well.

Place was good, food was pathetic, they used to serve good food before the pandemic, we went there in 2018, but this the food, service was much desired, we had to go out to explore for food

The place is very well maintained. It's actually in lap of nature. We stayed in West End and i must say our stay was nearly perfect. I went there with my two kids and it was our anniversary. The food was made as per our request as non spicy just like home made food. Sandeep got the room decorated with balloons on my request. The staff was so polite and they were just a phone call away. They ensured that nothing is being told twice and is made available in one go. Overall a great experience and i definitely recommend this place to those who are looking for stay in a peaceful place with someone to look after them with politeness.

This was one of the best homestay experience that I had! The view is beautiful and the service is great. Order from Zaika Restaurant nearby! It is a great location too. Kudos and 5 stars only! Will revisit super soon.

Nice place to rest. Very peaceful and in between natural beauty. With awesome view. We had very pleasant stay here.

Beautiful stay, lovely room just washroom stinks horribly. Good experience for us with toddlers as cottage had enough space to play. No major lawn area (neither we needed). Custom food can be ordered and they give you a lovely kitchen if u wanna make basic stuff.

Just mind blowing property. We had one day stay at mahal farms. It was indeed a great experience. Cottages are very neat and clean amazing views from the balcony. Perfect place to stay. Moreover the owner is very nice and helpful. Food is great.

Superb place for families. Rooms were clean and along with toileteries sanitizers were also provided. Ambience was excellent. There were lots of cherry and plum trees. West rooms were excellent for small families. They even arranged bonfire at rs 400. Food was homely. Will definitely visit again.

Room interiors are simple and beautiful. You can get lovely valley view from your room as well from outdoor sitting area.
We ordered chicken curry (of 750g chicken) n they cost ₹480 only and dish was delicious.
Mall Rd is just above this cottage. You can take main road of around 1.3Km or take a shortcut (better ask someone locally of your caretaker).
Whole property is full of greeneries specially entry.

साफ-सुथरा और सुरुचिपूर्ण ढंग से व्यवस्थित होमस्टे। कमरा और अटैच्ड बाथरूम पर्याप्त बड़े थे। बेड बड़ा और आरामदायक था। कमरे में हीटर, एक छोटा सा फ्रिज, टीवी और बाथरूम में गीजर दिया गया है। कमरे में सामान रखने के लिए एक आलमारी है। साथ ही कुछ अन्य छोटी लेकिन जरूरी आवश्यकताएं जैसे कि बाथरूम में तौलिया, शैम्पू, बॉडीवाश भी दिया जाता है।
कमरों में बड़ी-बड़ी खिड़कियां हैं, जहां से दूर तक पहाड़ियों का सुंदर दृश्य दिखाई देता है।
चूंकि होमस्टे शहर से थोड़ा सा हटकर है, यहां किसी तरह का शोर नहीं है, पूरी तरह शांतिपूर्ण वातावरण है।
यह होमस्टे कसौली के शहर के पास ही स्थित है। पहाड़ों के बीच एक पैदल रास्ते से आसानी से शहर तक पहुंचा जा सकता है।
होमस्टे में आर्डर पर नाश्ता व रात्रि का भोजन भी उपलब्ध है। खाने का मेनू बहुत सीमित है, लेकिन एक होमस्टे में इससे ज्यादा उपलब्ध हो पाना मुश्किल ही है, क्योंकि वे केवल अपने थोड़े से अतिथियों के लिए खाना तैयार करते हैं। खाने की गुणवत्ता अच्छी है। खाना बिल्कुल घर जैसा है। हालांकि खाना महंगा अवश्य है।
होमस्टे का स्टाफ विनम्र एवं कार्यकुशल है। विशेषकर जॉनी जी हमारे 3 दिन के स्टे के दौरान सहायक रहे।

This is unfair. You blaming us like we have made crime that we stayed at your property.but the way you behaved completly unacceptable front of my family i remember the way you behaved front of my family which was so rude. Better you learn how to deal with your guests rather than blaming others. Would never suggest anybody for this home stay although its a nice place to stay but extremely sorry to say we regret we stayed at your property. Pls dont be so rude to your guests

This review is less about the property and more about the arrogance behavior of the owner and his staff. It seems like he can't handle the critical reviews on the property. It's better to improve urself rather blaming a 2 year old child for your deeds. As a homestay, if u can't provide the facility of gas stove, then the guests needs to make their own arrangements in form of hot plates. Arguing with the guests to prove yourself and your staff right is what your hospitality says about you. Talking about not charging extra for desi ghee, etc, I would like to thank you for your very kind fovour on us, but the rates of your food compensates that as you serves a 1 plate aaloo puri for more than Rs. 200, wow. Another thing to mention, it would be the first rented property where the id of the guest is checked at the time of check out. This really sums up the professionalism they have, isn't.

The owner of hotel mr.mahal ji is very polite, humble and nice the staff of the hotel is also very polite specially Jhony bhaiyya.hotel pahuchne se pehle hum sab bahut thake huve the lekin hotel me entry karte hi man khus ho gaya.the hotel is very much clean, beautiful and amazing.bahut khubsoorat hotel hai, location is very peaceful, hotel se view bahut pyara hai.hotel me jane ke baad kahi or ghumne ka man nahi karega, me isse hotel nahi mahal kahunga.hotel is amazingly designed.such a beautiful hotel to visit.ek baar jakar dekho maja na aye to kehna.likh ke de raha hu or kya chahiye

If you are looking for an economical Homestay which doesn't feel like a homestay and has all the modern ammenities along with express service then this is the place. The rooms are humungous, best for families. Has a sit out area in each room, windows facing the Kasauli valley, a nature trail to connect you with the nature. The words are short unless you don't visit.

Excellent view from all rooms. Multiple stay options available. Spread over a decent area with 6-7 concurrent guests mostly. No possibility of this place get crowded.

A beautiful place to be in. One of my best stays in hill stations. It's calm, serene. The rooms are very prettily decorated. One can feel a sense of peace just after entering the property. The owner as well as the staff (Mr Johnny) are extremely helpful and cordial. They made the stay comfortable despite me having a foot injury. They arranged for my first aid, helped me with the needs and were as cordial as before every time I called for help. I just wish we could stayed here longer. If back in Kasauli, I know where to stay.

It was really relaxing staying here. Hospitable staff and owner. We self made the food in the airy kitchen within the apartment.
