I m sharing one of my incident.
I took a auto rickshaw from the market to my hotel room.he told me the fare is 80 rs so i said ok.but after sitting in the auto some 500mt he told me the fare is 100 rs.he started soughting at me and then tod me to get down from the auto.so manali people r the worst people n hill station I have visited yet.please don't visited there you can go to dalhousie instead of manali is a awesome place.kindly avoid manali.

Its a good market place with a lot of options.
But it is one of the busiest streets in Manali and is not very safe during the covid times. Would recommend to be very safe while in the area.

Besides that the juice stall at the place is one of the best juices I have tried and the handicrafts market at the end of the mall road is also really nice with a lot of good options.

Beautiful and lively Bazaar to shop. A lot of choices in Food, handcraft and other souvenir to gift people. You can easily spend 3-4 hours here. Always wear a mask at this place as police will fine you for not wearing.

Do try the multi flavour ice available at multiple shops. You can also try foot massage for ₹150

People will approach and try to sell you Kesar and Shilajit but don't buy from such Strangers as these products are not genuine.

Crowded place.if you wanna buy any clothes, bags or anything, bargaining can save you.else you'll be looted, specially for tourists

The market is huge. You have many options to buy a single thing. There are many shawl shops from locals to high end ones. I would suggest to shop from the locals as they have those authentic pashmeenas. There are many hidden small lanes as well, you can shop for the souvenirs from there. There are many food options too. There is one tambola point as well. You will enjoy the night time there. People also gather here for the New years eve.

Awesome place and awesome food counters. Some food counters are too costly while few are good and at reasonable prices.if you are visiting Manali bazar dnt forget to eat at Cost Restaurant

It was a good place located in new Manali. It is mostly popular as the Mall Road of Manali as it is full of shops and has the biggest market in the area. This is really a good place to hang out with friends and enjoy some good food and shop for your loved ones from the Manali trip as a souvenir

Manali bazar aka Mall road is filled with shops on both side of the road. No vehicles are permitted within the market (walk safe:). It's usually crowded irrespective of what time / season it is.
Many things that you can check out include clothes for winter (incl shawls, jacket etc), gift items (incl.key chains, other show items etc.), items for your home (incl.bells, front door board which can be customised), food (incl veg/non veg options available). Also has the following store: chemist, travel agent, money exchange, ATM, musical instruments shop, bike hire etc.
The govt Bus stand is 2 min walking distance, private (Volvo) bus stand is 20-30 min walk (2km apx), old manali 30 min walk

The Heart of manali. Interstate Bus stand is here. Should never take a commercial cab here, but opt for local car with driver. It's easy to move around in manali. It's like a mini shopping mall. Can book a cab or sharing Bus for Rohtang pass visit. But, local cab driver could take you for a ride as the govt charge for rohtang pass visit is Rs 500 per person. But they charge from Rs 6500 for 5 person in etios or Dzire car to Rs 13000 for Innovation.

If you're a window shopper and you love bizzare clothing, this place is best for you. One can find a diverse collection of clothes, food, woodwork which in turns provide a slight taste of Kashmir. A quick tip: Bargain as much as you can. ;)

In the best of Manali and things you must do is the Mall Road or the Manali Bazaar. But it is not as good as Shimla mall Road.

Its a one of the main tourist place at Manali. I visited during march and april months. Mainly winter seasonal things are there, with high cost. Bargaining is necessary before buy.

You can find woolens cloths, sweater, and all winter related clothing items in this bazaar.

The night life at bazaar is just great. The whole bazaar is lit up from lights during night time.

Famous for its variety of shopping and food options available. Grape juice, gulab jamun, momo's are few must try items here. German bakery near the street is amazing. Also there is a wide range of clothing shops on the street with fixed rate of winter wear. The cloths are worth the price. Do visit the 'Mall Road'.

A beautiful and costly place. I will recommend it for just visit cause any item’s price will be doubled. A cozy and cool place to be hang around. It’s near the Manali roadways bus stand.
