What a wonderful trek. I did solo trekking and traveled solo to this place. This is I guess a kind of warm up trek for all the other bigger and harder treks around. I really enjoyed it. Make sure that you carry enough water while trekking specially during summers and also carry glucose powder.

Best trekk ever. Please must try the beautiful nature at the top, the temperature, atmosphere, the twinkling stars at night, and the full brightness of the moon light Experience the night stay in tent you can experience this trekk with your friends and family but lil' bit responsibilities are there if you are going with family. Try the best trekk of TRIUND TREKK in MCLEOD GANJ which is of 2850metre elevation.

Most go at least once. 7-9 km long trekk. It took us around 5 hours to reach the top. Destination is worth the effort. Try capturing the sunset and sunrise moment here. Really beautiful place

The Triund top is awesome. The trek is of medium level but the last km stretch is little strenous. There are many small cafes on the way so you get all basic amenities. Keep your bags light so it is easy to carry.

Very nice place, nice weather.a very good spot for photography.food is very costly here so it will be better for you if you have something on your own.

Triund trek is the one that starts from mcleodganj.its around 10-12km from the mcleodganj bus stop. You can start the trek from there only or can hire a taxi from mcleodganj to Gullu Devi temple. This temple is the last motorable point. It's better if you carry your snacks and water. As the food is very costly at the top. Along the way there are many cafes where you can enjoy some Maggie. It took us 5 hrs. To reach at the top.stay there for a night, u will enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Do carry warm clothes as temperature sometimes falls below 0 degree Celsius.

The trek might be a little exhausting for the people who do not do a lot of physical activity. But slowly and steadily one gains momentum. The views above are so pretty that you would forget all the stress of the trek in a jiffy. My suggestion, stay there for the night, calm your mind and soak it up all in. You don't get such view in ur daily life. Mame the most of your time up there.

It is one of the best treks not only in himachal but India. The trek is 7 kms from dharamkot but you can also start the trek from Mcleod ganj, actually the taxi service is upto dharamkot so it's upto you to decide where to start. Secondly the view up there is really amazing. You can also trek to the snow line if you wanna trek further. You will feel like paradise in snowline. All in all this is an awesome trek.

Triund Trek (McLeod Ganj Trek) is about 7kms one way. The path is a steady climb, at times a bit steep, and rocky. It can be done by a reasonably fit person in about 3 hrs one way.

The peak has an open meadow where you can camp for the night. Make sure you make prior arrangements for the tent if you want to spend the night there.

If you are fit enough, you can attempt to go a bit higher, to the snowline. That's about 2.5kms more and could take about 2hrs more.

If you doing a day trip, ensure that you are at the base before darkness. The only reason for this is the rocky pathway. (And don't under estimate this)

The view from the Triund peak is good. You can see the Dauladhar range from there, the peaks visible if there are no clouds. You can also spot Griffin Vultures soaring over the top of mountains.

There are multiple small shack restaurants along the way and at the top. You can get a small bite, tea, biscuits, cool drinks etc. Plan to carry your water bottle with you. If you are lucky you can find a steam to full your water.

Please do get all your trash back to the base where you can find segregated waste disposal system. Help keep the hills clean. If you are up to it, pick some trash asking your trek and get it to the base. Leave the hills more cleaner than before you went.

Something's are beyond words, beyond explanation. It was a great experience. Amazing trek. Have stays available at the top- private as well as government. If you are carrying a tent with you before you pitch make sure it's far from the forest office. They won't let you do it and ask you to move from the locality, and they can be quite rude as well. But I will tell you the night you spent at Triund will be one amongst the best you have in whole life. Silence, stars, moon, mountains.

Too crowded now. Earlier this place used to be such a great trek but now with all the crowd it feels more like a picnic spot. Starting from summer of 2018 the forest department is taking steps to control that, and number of camps that can be set up is limited to a two digit number only. Make sure to rent one at a travel agency at Mcleodganj itself before you begin the trek, else you may face a problem. Also, they have banned setting a bonfire at the top. Keep that in mind.

A good weekend getaway to rejuvenate and relax. Although summer's is the best time to go but to witness the lush green mountains can go during the rainy season but visibility from the top would not be present.

Not too easy, neither very difficult, and yet it will test your endurance and patience. Good trek for a leisurely walk up the Himalayas and watch the world from a vantage of 3000m.

It's just awesome guys. Best for beginners and one more thing I want to mention that while going there for trekking girls please wear trekking shoes not stylish shoes

Beautiful place as it has bhigsu water fall, tea gardens, buddhist temple, and near by so many places to visit. Triund trek is the most adventurous things to do here which is almost 3kms above sea level. Night stay in tent and to witness the sunset and sunrise at moon peak is fabulous.

This place is heaven. Mountains and greenery all round. The weather is pleasant. People mostly visit here for trekking and sight seeing. There are a lot more places to see here, like the Bhagsu waterfalls, Tibet museum, Dalai Lama Temple, and Bhagsu temple. Apart from this, there is a peculiar thing about this place is that the weather changes in snap of fingers. One moment you will see the clear green mountains, the next moment you will see them covered under the clouds.

Last but not the least. How could I forget to mention the Triund trekk. If you ever go to McLeodganj, trek on Triund. On the top of Triund, it is the most amazing view from 3000 metres. It's just terrifically beautiful.

Simple yet one of the best views from a trek. No washrooms though and food and water are a bit overpriced but that's with every trek you visit. You can rent camping tents for a whole night stay.
08 अगस्त 2018 22:34
Muat visit if you are in Mcleodganj very good place. Just plan your trip in a way so that you can come on the same day or you could also plan to stay overnight in tent.

Good views and trek, but tent owner should also provide essential amenities such as washrooms and toilets. Its difficult up there if you are planning to stay overnight without these amenities.
