It was very bad experience. We will never go there again, owner was filled with very bad behaviour rude behaviour, unprofessional nature, only money minded.

Wonderful stay at this very cosy B&B on Dharamkot road. Right opposite TIPA, so it's easy to locate. The host Sahil and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Perfect for all types of travellers & reasonably priced.
Especially loved the common area with a fireplace, plush leather couches and an amazing collection of books. Highly recommended!

This place can give you mixed feelings in almost all aspects.
Now here is why I call it a.mixed bag:
1. Location - It is on the way to Dharamkot (from Mcleodganj) so it's scenic but if you wish to visit the market, it's recommended to hire a bike as multiple to & fro rounds could be tiring. Also, if you are not frequent with walking on hilly tarrain, it could be little tough as the distance is a km from market upwards. But, the blessing in disguise is the peace and calmness you get there.
2. Parking - They have some space so you can park the vehicle outside. Since there is not much vehicular movement on that route, outside parking is not a problem.
3. Rooms - these can be terms fine for couples or adults but not so for family with kids. The lights are dim and there is no common area kids can play. But the rooms have a rustic look that adds to the mysticism of the place. Also due to the location midst meadows, there could be an occasional bug in the room. I stayed in the top floor hut, which was a different experience (from regular hotels). The room has a nice balcony with small sofa, felt blissful to be there early morning and meditate. Evenings attract bugs so it is not recommended to be out or open the balcony door in the evenings.
4. Food and Service - Fantastic! Amazing food and very well mannered, soft spoken staff. The Poha in breakfast is so great, it can give many Mumbai and Indore outlets a run for money. Though they serve dinner only till 9pm, if I am not wrong.
5. Tarrif - very decent. 2k for 2 guys incl breakfast is good.
Stay there, if you want to add an offbeat stay in your travel.

This really an awesome homestay. It's a three star property but the service and hospitality is too good. Food options are very good in breakfast their pancakes are amazing. Some vegetables options could be limited due to season. But their dinning area view is awesome you can see whole kangra valley. It's surrounded by lush green trees and very calm and peaceful. Just a walk away from main square.

Had a perfect vacay stay! Everything here is amazing - from the rooms to the view to the outdoors to the owners to their little pet Mowgli!
The service is great. The food tastes good. The property owners give that homely vibe and were really supportive throughout.

Average rooms but changes are high better options are available. Most of places are gust house or honestly only

Rooms are not as per very good hotels but are good for short stay with all amenities. Breakfast was awesome so good was their chai. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. It was a good stay for 2 days. 800 mts from McLeodganj center but the road is going upwards. Very quite and peaceful place.

The stay at Mcleodganj Bed & Breakfast was pleasant and comfortable. The location is peaceful and quiet, and still it's not too far from the ever happening and crowd market street below. Sahil pays attention to the operations and services of the homestay that result is obvious in terms of happy guests like us. Special mention to Akshit and Pushpendra in the staff, they were very courteous, diligent and served with a smile, consistently.

Hotel is all old now and does not looks good. It strictly requires rennovation. Rooms are not good too. The photos I have uploaded still looks nice because of the camera auto feature of beautify otherwise it's not good.

It is in very isolated place. It's better to look for other hotels especially in Main market, mcloedganj which can be hired at same price and outstanding views

Nice experience!
I had severe food restrictions but the staff made sure that cooking practices were aligned with what I demanded. Service was also top of the order. All of our requests were entertained with diligence.

Overall stay was good, owner Mr sahil Sarin and his mother was very friendly and resolved whatever issues we had, homely stay, other staff was very friendly, location was just 800m from the main market breakfast also was good.

Stayed for two nights with family based on reviews. The biggest mistake. Property not maintained at all. Guys please look somewhere else. Broken bathroom doors, spider webs everywhere, fungal on the walls to name few issues.in short, worth of 500 days per night.

I would give this bed and breakfast 0 stars if I could the worst food ever. I would suggest you never go there

Overall experience is very good. Rooms were spacious and clean.one can enjoy the a good view of pine trees and valley from the balcony. It is very close to the main market place of mcleodganj though the place is very calm and serene (As the location of the home stay is not in the main market. Its location is almost 500 mts from the market place). Room service and behaviour of the support staffs are very good. Especially I would like the mention about the homestay owner Mr Sahil Sarin whom we have contacted for any sort of doubts or help during our stay and he has helped us immediately with a very polite manner. Food was awesome.
At the same time I would also like to mention some issues which we have experienced. I am not mentioning those issues here as a grievance. Rather I am mentioning it here so that they can identify and resolve it later. I didn't mention during our stay since, in day-1, we have checked in after 3pm and we used to come back at the home stay almost beyond 6/7 pm throughout two days of our stay after completing local sightseeing.
The issues are:
1. Geyser in the room with terrace is not working.
2. There were chandeliers in the valley view room. But those were not in working condition.
I know that the homestay owners could have resolved these issues if they had been informed. But we didn't want to disturb them at night since these are not very major issues to address.
I would like to stay here again if I visit Mcleodganj in near future.

The place and stay all was good. I felt like home. I left them thank you note before leaving as well. This felt like home away from home. I only wish they responded to my note. Nonetheless, if you planning to tour Dharmshala, this is where you should stay.

A place away from the Madding crowd, where there is peace, tranquility and oneness with nature. An absolute relaxation sets in. The ambiance of the home stay is breathtaking as it is above the mountain.
The food was simply amazing.it was home cooked and simple but the taste was out of this world Thank you Mrs Sarin, especially eggless pancake which is difficult to find in Bangalore.
The hosts and the staff were so warm and greeted us with smiles followed up by good long chats.
The USP of this place is the warmth and hospitality of the hosts n the staff and the remarkable FOOD for sure.thanks to the staff there.even at 12 in the night they had this very warm and homely smile.thanks for making our stay so great.
The next time I visit McleodGanj. I am gonna be there.)

Food was really unhygienic, washrooms weren't clean, the room looked cosy but the beds weren't. Food is complete no no.

We a group of 6 female travellers hired the homestay for four days from 9th March to 13th March
The location was nice, rooms neat.
It's being run by mother+ sons team who are very accommodating and take pains to make your stay comfortable. Do try poha and upma for the breakfast which was simply awesome. Even the pancakes were just too good followed by coffee. We preferred having dinner there all the days, Sahil's mom is an excellent cook! Cleanliness of linen could be improved upon. Overall, enjoyable stay.

Nice place to stay, vibrant and colorful place especially the dining area and the sunrise from the window with awesome cuisine and the morning breakfast with coffee is the best experience here.

I have been into many places and staying in many hotels. But the experience I had in Mcleodganj bed and Breakfast was truly nice one. The hotel staff and managers were very polite and offered their best support and services. The food was taste and had authentic flavor. This hotel is located in a nice place and it gets plenty of sunlights. One can expect a quiet and peaceful environment there. I definitely recommend the hotel, the true experience of homestay.

Location of this homestay is really nice, but reaching to this place is bit difficult specially of you are not familiar to this place.

Good things: location is scenic. All the must visit places are walkable. Room service is good. Triund trek: ~5km.

Bad things: wash rooms are not specious,

It's ok ok place.people are good but it's just a basic place. And moreover is far from Square so if you wanna have dinner you have to go all the way down, have dinner. & come back in compete darkness.
They have limited breakfast items like Pancakes (which are good), Alu Paratha or Omelette.

This is a good option if you wish to be away from all the hustle and bustle of mcleodganj market. Situated at a peaceful location, this hotel offers good rooms with a great mountain view. The washrooms are small but clean. The room is sufficient for two people. The breakfast served is good. The hotel owners run the place and are quite friendly. There is no Wi-Fi facility and walking distance to mcleodganj market is around 10 to 15 mins.

Looks beautiful from outside haven't stayed here but this place looks so good that I wish I could stay here sometime
