Mcllo Beer Bar and Restaurant

So costly. One food item of 10to50 rp. Is upto 90to150.
Don't even wanna gave this reasturent even 1 star.
Having good place, nature and atmosphere but not cost.
Kindly improve ur cost rate.

They are very welcoming have good seating area but congested, dim lights not not so bright very basic interior. Having good music. The serve wine and beer only no hard drinks. Had good long menu but expensive.
We had mushrooms which was average ok experience. Not wheelchair accessible

Loved the noodles and chilli chicken combo along with butter chicken pizza. Quantity was a little less

Awesome place.a must visit for a filling meal and good time over good ol' Michael Learns to Rock numbers. Thank you for a lovely time.

It was just alright, the ambiance is pretty good but the I didn't find the food amazing like food was little compromised, I mean not spicy

The food is Great but my experience in terms of service was not the best. The staff was not really helpful and took ages to get our food even though the restaurant was operating at even less than half the capacity. Would have gone for 3 Stars but 1 extra star for the Terrace as it is a good place to hang out with Family and Friends.

Very poor quality and services! No etiquettes. I was listening to bhajan and specifically they started playing English as some restaurant staff people were muslims and did not like bhajan. Poor taste. Poor quality of food.

Had a horrible experience at this restaurant. First after waiting for around 30-35 minutes they served cockroach in garlic chicken we ordered, and later again we have to wait to wait for another 20-25 minutes to get our previously ordered food delivered and this time they messed up with the gravy of the garlic chicken, we feel the same food which had cockroach was again served to us, by just adding some water to the previous gravy, as gravy this time was much thinner than the earlier one, fuether5they did nt stop atthis point, glasses which were served to us had very bad smell, like egg or something else.i can say that i entered at this restaurant arnd 3.30 to have my lunch n came out of this restaurant arnd 5.00 pm with sucha bad experience. And on top of that, even after complaining of all these issues, restaurant manager was such a shameless person that he didnt compensate us for waiting sucha long time and raised full bill of food we ordered. I wanted to give ita negative rating, but unfortunately this option is not available here. Willnever recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It is very famous restaurant of Mcleodganj. Food is decent. Ambience is architecturally retro. One thing which bothered me throughout my dine in experience was the behaviour of the waiter. He kept staring throughout and even before we finished our meal, he came rushing & started clearing our table and said, 'I'll bring the bill. ' we sat on the ground floor at around 05: 00pm. No other table was occupied other than ours. There was a constant vibe of ignorance as if he just wanted us to leave us asap. The restaurant as a whole is good but they should hire polite, friendly staff.

Not worth it at all.
Food items are extremely over-priced and soft drinks are sold at more than the MRP. Apart from this, food was not tasty and quantity was very less.

Avoid Naan and Chicken Biryani (it tastes like tomato rice). Initially they will tell that it is sufficient for 2 people, but the quantity was very less, i.e, not enough for a single person.

There was hair and rubber bands in the food, which can be seen as a human error but they have charged for those item as well and were fighing over k '2 items me hi to tha 3rd me to nahi tha na'. This happened with another traveller and we were cautious while eating our food.

Very less options. No place given to whiskey or rum. They only serve beer and wine. Also very limited choice of food. But taste is good.

For Vegetarians, be careful the vegetarian food is not vegetarian. We ordered Veg Tupka which was under vegetarian section, we found chicken pieces in that. After discussion with hotel staff and chef, we found that all the Chinese and Tibetan food has the same broth in which they boil Non-Veg.

Worst kind of restaurant I have ever been to, stuff was super rude, washrooms and tables were dirty and no one was willing to clean it, having good menu and location doesn’t make a good restaurant, hospitality is what makes a good restaurant, and non of the stuff even know what hospitality actually means.

DO NOT RUIN YOUR DINING EXPERIENCE!
Only 2 servers for 20-25 tables on such a busy night. We sat for 15 minutes to get a menu, 20 minutes to place our order but no one bothered to come, instead, one of the servers gave me such a rude look and answer, when I walked to him to enquire about, why no one is coming to our table. Another group of people were arguing about the poor quality of service, they too waited for 1.5 hours to get their food. Our table was not cleaned for atleast 20 minutes and had stains of food from the previous group, who left before us from the same table. I usually don't put up critical reviews about a place, but this was a blunder. I don't know how the food here tastes but I don't believe it to be any good once you get this initially. PS. One of the server was really polite but since he had to manage so many tables he looked too worked out. But the one with the beard was very rude. Rooftop experience. I saw 2-3 more couples leaving without placing order for reason same as ours.

Worst service. We weren't even attended well. The staff was quite unwelcoming. They didnt even care if we moved out of the hotel.

Nice ambience to enjoy in the restaurant with cuisines including indian, chinese, Italian, Tibetan etc. Ordered Alfredo pasta and it was yum. Also the hot chocolate was worth ordering. They also offer a wide variety of drinks menu to choose from. Prices are decent. It offers a good view of the market square Mcleodganj. Great way to spend a dinner evening.

Not a good place if you are looking for Italian and Veg. Also the quantity is not that much what you expect.

All time favourite when I am in McLeod Ganj. Amazing food and ambience.

Usually they are over crowded and server seems to be exhausted.

I had been here in the year 2011 and this was my second visit to McLeodganj and Mcllo. I must say the things have changed and I didn't like the food this time around. We ordered honey chicken which came cold and the butter chicken and Dal makhni were very runny almost soupy with a very thin gravy and lacking taste.

We had asked for Garlic Lachha Parantha, he instead gave us garlic naan and said this is made of atta. Even the other laccha paranthaas we ordered were made of maida.

We didn't quite like the dining experience.

Great location specially the rooftop sitting area, staff was polite n nice, just felt the food was bit overpriced.

Love to visit that place again and again.food and service.was too good.u will surily enjoy with family and freinds.

2 stars just for food but service is really really slow. The concerned staff should carefully maintain the cleanliness as there were cockroaches on table.

Pretty standard & average food quality. Catering mostly to Indian tourists. Overly priced, greasy and a staff that is seemingly not very friendly. There are a lot more places/restaurants in the area that serve food that is so much better! Would recommend skipping the place.

Worst service ever, seriously. And I'm saying this being a hotelier. And I've never written a review befire. This is the first time. Don't go. Waste of time and money.

Very very slow service.it took around half hour to bring our order and food quantity is too less.
Then when we repeated the order we had to wait half hr again. Even they took so much time in bringing the bill. The attitude of waiters is also not good. They are rude.

The non veg food served is pathetic. The onion is not complimentry and its not worth its price. The chutney (sauce) is not also so good. The chicken is like rubber and flavours are worst. If possible I had never even given 1 star rating.

Location is at the entry of Mcleodganj. Food is yummy specially dal makhni and mutton roganjosh.kids love the cheesiest pizza.its just yummy.fully enjoyed the food

Poor coordination, people had come with their families and music was Hard Rock we had to tell them to play soothing music and there were also kid crying in background and on top of it loud Hard Rock. My head started paining. I taught I made wrong choice by entering there. Food was average.

An awesome place at the Mcleodganj chowk where you can hang out with your friends or family. It has four floors and is located on the main chowk, so it has a super hip crowd.

We sat on the rooftop, and it was great standing there looking at the view while sipping on the beer. Also, the place is quite popular among Bollywood celebrities and cricketers. (There were photos all around.)

Coming to the food, everything we tried was delicious.

Poor uninterested service. Over priced compared to other places. Charged 1400 rupee for a not very nice bottle of wine, then told we're closed leave 5 minutes later

Because the place is always very crowded, they might stress you out with late service, but then again, the ambience and the food will make you fall in love with this place! Recommended.

Always loved the ambience.the roof top especially but the service today at an October weekend was a total failure, i had to wait for about half an hour or more to just place my order and the reply was that the people before me sitting there were there for more than hour.
