Absolutely loved the hospitality. The host went above and beyond his capacity to ensure that all our needs are met. I had made a small request to serve mutton curry in dinner and it was fulfilled without any reminders, the best mutton curry i ever had. Also, the host provided a dental medicine to my kid in the midnight when we had lost all hopes to meet our kid's need.

Though this is not near to kaza market, we would love to stay here again in future.

Amazing homestay and an even amazing host. The hosts are very helpful and kind. The food is local and homely. Would recommend 100% to stay when visiting Kaza. All the locations langza key monestry are quite nearby.

The best stay you can find for your trip to Spiti. The stay is approximately 8km away from Kaza. The location is at a calm and peaceful area, which is far better than Kaza. The host and the entire team was so welcoming. We felt like as if we were staying in our own home. The rooms were well furnished and so clean. The food was also really good and homemade. Karma ji and the entire team also helped us a lot by giving us proper medical assistance as we were suffering from altitude sickness. Also they helped us with making an itinerary for our Spiti trip. They took care of every needs of us from traveling, medical needs, etc. Also we got the chance to meet people different locations and we all felt like one big family. We definitely recommend this stay for everyone.

We stayed here from 17th June to 21st June 2022. The room was excellent and hygenic as well as pretty and all facilities were provided. The best thing was their hospitality. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The owner Mr. Karma is very generous and helpful and his wife Mrs. Sangi Dolma was also very kind and the food she made was mouth licking good. We enjoyed the food which was very delicious and healthy as well as served with happiness. Mr. Mamik Sharma helped us with all our requirements and happily provided us with everything we needed. The stay was very very good. One must stay here rather than go to expensive hotels, the price is extremely reasonable and if u are going there then please DON'T BARGAIN. I can ensure anyone that the stay here will be very good and unforgettable. I thank everyone from Miklam Homestay to make our stay is Kaza very memorable.

In one word, just go for it. I stayed here with my family - 14th and 15th June. It is an amazing place to stay in Rangrik, just 10 mins from Kaza by car. Serenity, peace with mesmerizing views of Spiti Valley from the rooms. The rooms are amazing with Tibetan traditional dining space within the room. It's just not to miss. The food is great and served with such love and affection.

Lastly not to miss, Karma ji, the host is such a nice and amazing person, he took care of our travel itinerary and our stay so nicely. So humble and down to earth, will patiently answer and guide to all your queries. The hotel manager, Mamik is also a very nice person and took care of all our requests.

Overall, a five star rating to it.

Located in Rangrik village (around 10 KMs from Kaza) it's a home away from home. If you are looking for a place, away from the chaos of commercialized Kaza, however, still within the vicinity of Kaza, Miklam Homestay is the perfect place.

We enjoyed each moment of our stay there. It's truly a homestay where you share the accommodation and food with your hosts.

The property, rooms and washrooms are clean and well maintained with all the basic necessary amenities. The property is beautifully decorated as well - exactly the way I'd decorate my home at a Himalayan hamlet.

The food is homely, fresh, hygienic and tasty. You can request them for local cuisine as well if you are up for it.

However, what stands out is the warm and welcoming behaviour of the hosts. We felt like staying with our family. This was our best experience throughout Spiti.

Karma ji and family made me feel at home right from the start. This is located in Rangrik, little ahead of Kaza, so it is less crowded and also close enough Kaza. Karma ji took care of our travel arrangements as well in addition to being an impeccable host with the best care and many wonderful stories of Spiti.

The homestay is in Rangrik around 7km from Kaza. I suggest this homestay for its locations& views from rooms and its better to stay in Rangrik than Kaza (City). Every room is furnished with good beds, sofa set & dining table. The hosts were very helpful and nice. We stayed for two days (Aug 14& 15 of 2019) and we fell in love with the place. We were actually happy for not staying in Kaza city. Rangrik is much more beautiful.

An amazing experience - view from rooms r just overwhelming- cosy rooms with perfect amenities along best food & ambience -with best professional services! Mikam planned our trip from Shimla -Kalpa- Rangik (Kaza) -sangla -simla! Planning was so perfect nothing left to explore <SPITI VALLEY>

The place is 7Kms from Kaza right on the highway to Manali in Rangrik, much peaceful and serene than Kaza. It offers spectacular view of mountains, valley, spiti river and Key monastery. There is also big Buddha statue similar to one in Langza nearby which is must visit for spectacular views and photo ops. The rooms in the home stay are large, comfortable, clean and well maintained. The hospitality is awesome. They also offer sightseeing tours in 4X4 vehicle with experienced drive. We stayed here on 11th and 12th June, 2019.

I lead a group to Spiti in Winters of 2019. We had an amazing stay at his place.

Super courteous staff. We felt like we are served in a 5 star hotel. Once they're didn't had lime for A tea we ordered. Next thing we know is They actually sent a guy to market to get it. Mind that market is far away.

Definitely recommend as I stay here twice every year with groups.

The staff was amazing. The home stay was very clean. Food was really good. We visited during winter and did not expect such a good service. Lalit who is co owner of the home stay took care of every need of ours and made sure that we had a pleasant and safe stay. I recommend them to both youngsters group and family this is one of the best home stay in Spiti.
