Such a great hostel to stay. Best view and rooms are nice. The host Akanksha is very friendly and helpful. Will surely come back.

The location is very peaceful up on the hill in Daramkot and a short walk to the hub. A lovely place to settle if you’re looking to be out of the central shops but walking distance. Lakshya the manager is very friendly, helpful and available. The hostel feels like a home. The private room was spacious with great views, however quite dirty (the only downside to my stay). Enjoy the Mitra family!

The best place to enjoy silence without any disturbance & with best masala chai in area. The female host akanksha or Anjali I don't know the exact name of her is very helpful and friendly. Best place to visit for inner peace

Fell in love with the hostel, when I got to know they have kitten named Iris whom they take care of since she is very sick. The food is amazing, the host is wonderful.

Lakshay is the best host I ever meet in my backpacking life he is always take care things what you need mitra have SUCH a beautiful vibe.mitra is not comercial hostel they understand backpackers hostel meaning.

You will find an amazing vibe here. They have one of the best view from the city and they help you to feel always like a family. Actually from the beginning they help us even we could not stay the first night. I cannot be more glad with this hostel. They are making a good job

The hostel is located in upper dharamkot with very nice views. It's a 10min uphill climb from road head. It has a self sustainable kitchen. Pvt rooms are clean and comfortable

This place have a great and very different vibe. Great view, great vibe, great food, great sitting area. Hostel management is too good and friendly. We had meaningful conversations and had a great time. I travelled 2 times as a solo female traveller. I always recommend this hostel.

•Everything is well managed by Neerav bhai, and any help needed will be best provided.

I had come here to stay for a day or two but stayed for my whole trip, almost two weeks.
It's a great place to just chill, enjoy food, the Beautiful view, especially the twilight, the sunset, and at night there's jamming and bonfire occasionally.
Overall, very soothing place to experience the beautiful serenity of Dharamkot.

I literally have no words to describe what an amazing time and memories i made here.the hosts are so amazing here, you will feel like its ur home. Abbu is a great cook and Nirav is a great dancer. I would really love go there again.

Visited their cafe and people I met at this place were such an amazing community. Loved their food and especially kullad chai. Nothing could match their level of taste in homemade food.

Recently visited Mitra hostel at dharamkot and the place was so serene and clean as well, neerav the property manager was very helpful and chill as well made the stay hassle free, the only thing I missed was the most recommended Rajesh bhai's maggi: D

It was my first stay at mitra and it was fabulous. The location is perfect isolated from the buzz. Rajesh are very professional and always ready to help, i look forward to visit again and will highly recommend to fellow travelers.

Best in budget place and such a friendly warden (Rajesh) is present to make you feel that this is just a home away from home. Perfect and hygienic dorms. Ask for spl Maggie and veg sandwich these are must try if you're staying here. Overall great experience.

Best view, food and homely vibes one can ask for in Dharamkot. I planned my trip for 15 days but ultimately extended it for almost 2 months as I felt so much at ease there. It became my family including all the other guests as well. I have found my second home in the mountains and whenever I visit dharamkot next, I'll land directly on Mitra ️

One of the best hostels I have been too. The staff was so cooperative and helpful. Even when our booking was not done, Rajesh bhaiya got us in when there was shortage of water and food supply. Absolutely loved the vibes of the common room too.

Our host, Rajesh, was very helpful and inviting. The place is in a secluded part, away from the hustle bustle of the city while still being easily connected to it. The cook, Vivek, made sure everyone got what they wanted to eat. The dormitory was safe and we got the chance to meet the nicest people there!

Visited this lively place recently, splendid view of mountains from rooms, wifi, good food and impromptu service are the things to be mentioned. I have been to mitra once before in goa. I was there at mitra a day back in dharamkot and I don't think I'll ever know how to leave that place behind and head back home because mitra is my home. I decided to travel there solo this time and I am heading back writing this from the train back home with amazing friends, scratch that they are family now. Rajesh ji, he knows what he is doing and is best at it. He is not running a commercial hostel nope, he is creating a family and i mean it. I could've written about the amenities the food the cozy place rather I chose to write about the feeling you will get when you stay there. The feeling of never leaving that place ever.

Was passing by this adorable hemlet in wilderness, I was wondering if I could see the place and believe me i felt home in mountains, ordered food and felt more hungry ate a lot ended up staying there for a night although I wanted to stay a little longer. These guys are amazing in hospitality and food. Just visit and feel the ambiance. You'll fall in love with mitra hostel. Must for weekend gateways.

Location - calm & quite dharamkot village, away from the B. S. (McLeod).
The highlights of the property are the most amazing valley views, lush green meadows out from your window, quaint cafe's all around & the most friendly and helpful host jaswanth. He will sort everything out for you, he takes an extra effort in making your experience pleasurable, a great guy. He made sure I gelled up with other people in the common room where they usually have movie/drink nights. All in all if you want peace, stunning views, meet new people. Mitra is the place to go

Wonderful, that is all I can say. If you are a solo traveler, you will love this place. A cup of chai, wonderful view, yummy food, most importantly host (Yeshwanth) and the puppies (Golu&Molu) are amazing. This place is an easy access to Truind, Sunset café, Gallu Waterfall, Naddi village, Bhagsunag. Don't miss it.
