We had an extraordinary experience at moksha stays. The host Akshay, is hands down the warmest and most gracious host. The food was amazing and the hospitality this place offers is insane. We accompanied akshay & madhuri to a trek they recommended and we ended up witnessing the most scenic views of manali. Navigating through the smallest villages of manali, amid the apple trees was a sight we will surely behold for years to come! Must must must visit!

We stayed at Moksha for 3 nights. It's a beautiful property with amazing views. Akshay is a great host. It is located around 5 kms from the mall road. If you are looking for a peaceful stay, i would recommend Moksha for sure.

If you are planning for a serene stay away from the hustle and bustle of manali this is just the perfect place
Akshay is a wonderful host and was gracious enough to organise a bonfire for everyone during our stay
Rooms are comfy and heater was provided on demand (at reasonable charge)
Common area is a wonderful place to hangout probably make new friends
Guest kitchen area has all basic amenities and Sunny and Kamal bhaiya are really helpful and accommodating throughout the stay
Place is 5kms towards atal tunnel and solang valley and has ample parking space which helps avoid traffic for commute towards adventures

Lovely place to stay in Manali. It was a great experience to stay in moksha for 5 nights. Akshay and Madhuri are very good Hosts and the guy who leads service and kitchen is also very hard working and keeps you happy with your requirements. The location is ideal for calm stay with beautiful snow mountains around you. You can have a great view of snowy mountains from your bed itself. Clean place and pure moksha stay….

This is my third time visit in Moksha and definately there will be many more…… The rooms… the vibe…. The snow filled mountain peaks…. The food and the awsome host…. You’ll find yourself in a truely comfortable and peaceful environment…. The best part of the stay were the morning YOGA sessions done with Akshay…. An amazing start for the day with full energy…. I personally felt the difference in those 5 days in my mindset…. My mind and body…. Apart from the awsome stay and food in Moksha i would like to personally thank Akshay for all the awsome yoga sessions…. Will surely come again as there is still so mich to learn from you…. A 100 stars from my side to the superhost….

Amazing place with amazing service. Beautiful spacious rooms and Kamal Bhaiya and Sunny Bhaiya made our stay like staying at home. Met Akshay, the owner, he is also fine guy to have nice conversation and maintained the property very well.

We had an amazing time at Moksha Stays. Beautiful property and location which is secluded from the usual Manali crowd. We stayed here for 3 nights. Through out our stay Akshay and team was really helpful. Kamal bhai’s chicken curry is something which I’ll never forget. Thank you. Hope to visit here again next time

Best place to stay in Manali. Homely feeling with the best hosts (Akshay & Madhuri) to guide, care, amazing food for the guests. They don't treat everyone as guest but their family members. Clean and healthy stay must visit with amazing view.

Our stay at Moksha was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room we stayed in had a great view. Also, the location is really nice because the sights in Manali as well as the snow points are both equally accessible from here. Overall, it was great and we look forward to coming back here soon

Best cottage in Manali having wooden interiors, rooms are very well maintained and spacious, i visited with my whole family and we enjoyed throughout, food provided is homely and quality is upto the mark, service provided by staff is remarkable, will definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues, Akshay Bhai hospitality is really awesome, wouldnlove to visit again very soon and highly recommended for whosever coming to Manali.

Moksha stay was one of the most comfortable stays in Manali till now. I booked through Airbnb for 3 nights and had to get my stay extended for 2 more nights. It's a new property with very homely atmosphere. The caretaker of property Sunny, is a warrior! His warm gestures made us feel so comfortable during the stay. Ask for anything and everything, he Il arrange for you. A must must stay place if you're traveling with family or a budget traveler. I'm definitely going to take a pitstop for all my further plans from Manali. Kudos to the Team.

Caretaker was very good, he was available 24×7. Food quality was not that good that's the only con there.
Location was very nice it was surrounded by apple trees we enjoyed eating fresh apples there.

Moksha Stays is an amazing place for people who want to stay away from city crowds and sounds. The place is very peaceful surrounded by peaks from all the sides. Solang at the left and rohtang at the right. It is situated very near to Rohtang - Manali Highway. They have amazing food menu and provide home like food. Rooms are very spacious and washrooms are very neat and clean. Akshay is always available to help you out with your queries. We really enjoyed staying here for 3 days. Recommended.

A must-recommended property for all travelers. I had a perfect stay there at Moksha. The rooms are very hygienic and airy. The food served to us was also very delicious.

To be honest, this is one of the best homestays in Manali. Initially planned to stay there for 3 days but based on the location, room view and most important the hosts (Akshay & Madhuri), we (my wife & I) extended our stay for 2 weeks.

The property is at an amazing location and away from the bustle of Mall road. You will definitely get rejuvenated by staying at this property. We got the room with a best view (Apricot) and the hosts were kind enough to extend our stay in the same room.

For people who plan to work from there (like us), the Wi-Fi is good. There is power backup for Wi-Fi but works only in the common area (good reason to go there and interact with other people).

In case you are planning to go to Manali, book this property for a few days and experience for yourself what Mokshastays has to offer.

P. S: Akshay will recommend some of the best places to eat the local dishes. Do visit those as well.

The location, rooms and amenities, food and staff all made a great stay experience for us and deserve a 5 star rating! The staff is very passionate about their work and handle everything professionally! No matter if you need to check during odd hours, just let them know and they are on their toes, waiting to welcome you and they make sure you have awesome food for your grumbling stomach! For me, Manali means Moksha Cottage!

A very welcoming staff, good food and rooms/washrooms are clean. The best thing is the size of the rooms and washrooms- a natural flow of space from one to another giving you ample of storage space also!

Akshay and Madhuri are amazing hosts. These guys go above and beyond for their guests, they are just a text away for all your needs. This property is beautiful with absolutely stunning views. Akshay and Madhuri could help you with planning your hikes and recommending cafes and restaurants. Try their poha and paneer chilli. I travelled alone with my son and felt safe at all times.

View: This was an amazing stay with super amazing views, you will wake up to cloudkissed snowy mountains surrounding the beautiful town and it'll make your morning with the most amazing masala chai from this place.

Neighborhood: it's a cute and quiet, beautiful town 'Shanag'. You can go around for walks, it's very peaceful.
You can also hangout around the cottage with a cutest dog.

Cottage: The room was pretty clean. A lot of thought process visibly went into making it look asthetic. The living room (common room) was amazingly decorated with quirky and beautiful things. It was a great place to hangout, you can also work from there, it has inverter in case of a power cut.

Hosts: Akshay and Madhuri were very friendly, understanding and professional. Especially Akshay. He was quick to respond to and resolve any minor concerns.

Food: Food was pretty good as well. Cream of mushroom soup was a must try!:)

The stay was amazing! Everything is perfect over here, wonderful view from the room and garden. I ll recommend this cottage to everyone who is going to Manali as you wont find a better place than this. The host was also very welcoming and made us feel like home.

Moksha has the coziest rooms in Manali with amazing 360 degree views. Akshay is a warm and very welcoming host. Moksha has become our go-to-place whenever visiting Manali!

A perfect place to call second home. The views from the rooms can easily mesmerise anyone and trap them here foreverrrr. The hosts, Akshay and Madhuri are the sweetest people I have come across. They helped us with amazing place recommendations, food recommendations and made us feel at home. I wish I had more time to learn yoga from the couple as well! A very cute and cozy homestay nestled amidst apple orchards and snow capped mountains. Location is easy to navigate and is at a walking distance from both Old Manali and Log Huts Area (comfort in hiking upwards in mountains is subject to every individual's own stamina). The host is also very warm and helpful. Had a great time during our 2 night stay here.

The food made by the cook Kamal, is really tasty and was quick. The stay really feels like staying at home.

Very tidy & lovely AirBnb cottage with yummiest home food, cleaned and equipped with everything you need. Akshay is a great host and there when you need him, Very nice, humble, friendly a guide. We had a great stay! Moksha Cottage is located at the perfect location, easy to get around with public transportation. Walkable distance from the Hidimba temple.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Views from the cottage are very beautiful. Snow clad mountains were visible from balcony as well as room windows. Service was good. It's near to Hadimba Devi temple.

I have been there once, and the serenity was awesome, full view of the valley. It was a great experience for us. Akshay is very corporative and a gem host. Thanks for making our stay a sweet experience.

This place gives you an amazing vibe. Neat and clean rooms. A comman room from where you can work or play board games. Connectivity is good in sense of wifi and cell network both. Its an place which is away from the crowd gives you a serene feeling with amazing view of snow clad mountains. Food gives you homely feel. Stuffed parathas are something we loved most by the caretaker bhaiya. Akshay is an amazing host, gives you good suggestion for the places to go around, an attentive host. We would definitely be looking forward to go and stay here again

We stayed at Moksha Cottage for a week in Nov’21 & had a very pleasant experience. Akshay is always around & is very responsive. View from cottage is amazing & we had Wi-Fi, signal in phone so no issues in working from cottage. With Home cooked meals & amazing people around, cottage made our trip memorable.
