Really an amazing place to eat and stay. The owner is friendly and cooperative. Perfect location, very spacious and clean rooms, and the best part is their dog Dost, he will add extra charm and happiness to your stay.
One of the best cafes I have ever visited, this turned out to be our favourite place in Dharamkot. Beautiful ambience and view. Food is great, had the best pasta ever and chicken steak is also recommended. At last special mention to the guy who manages this place (Bunty bhai), for his friendly hospitality and greetings with happiness.
A great place for a nice and relaxing meal. Always has beautiful music playing. The two brothers (I'm assuming) are always very positive. You can enjoy the view and unwind.
I have been visiting Moonlight regularly for the last 1.5 years.
I have tried quite a lot of things here but some of my favourites are Capo Chicken Pizza, Mushroom Onion Sandwich, Nimbu Paani, Fried Rice, Mix Veg Soup, and Sizzler. Maybe even a lot of other things too which I don't remember now.
The people managing the cafe are heartwarming and really welcoming. So much so that there are some days, my friends and I have spent entire day working out of here. Great cafe to work out of BTW.
My friends and I somedays also come here at night after dinner to chill and have chai.
This place is a vibe. You must give it try.
— Quick update: Bunty Ji makes an amazing Caffé Mocha. And he is a wholesome person to engage with when you visit moonlight cafe.
The place is too satisfied and overwhelmed by the sense of invincibility that they treat the client the way they want, the food is just average and there are better options around.
I made an error by visiting this place, the young lad serving there was a horribly rude guy, he selectively told me not to use the phone meanwhile others taking pictures there …, carrot cake ordered was worthless for its price … I will never go there again.
This is the best place to hangout worth friends. It's big, open, great food. Only deducting a star for their slow and unreliable service. They'd be perfect otherwise.
The best café in Dharamkot, hands down. Lot of options for people looking for mediterranean cuisine. Hummus and Fresh Salad are stand alone delicacies. A bit contrasting juices, but the rest of it compensates well enough.
Chill atmosphere, soothing vibe, serene views, pet friendly and what not.
It's the worst cafe I have come across, the food isn't so good. I ordered hot chocolate I think I got bournvita milk instead of that and prices are so high not student friendly. I won't recommend it's not budget friendly overhyped and one thing I noticed whenever I went there I saw absolutely no one in the Cafe. Interior is good but if they provide more quality food and budget rates might be good for them only
Absolutely one of the best cafes in Mcleodganj, it has amazing food, loved the authentic Israeli food and the coffee was the absolute best! Loved the view and the atmosphere, even had a friendly doggy there to keep company! One of the best experiences in dharamkot!
Good Atmosphere. Nice place. Good quality food. We ordered Falafel, chicken chill and Ginger Tea. Every item was delicious and tasty. Only thing was the price was little high, but it was worth if they maintain such quality and taste in their food.
A cozy little cafe nestled in lower dharamkot. It has a rustic feel to it but surprisingly it adds to it's vibe. They have a very friendly German shepherd as well named Dost who will greet you upon arrival. We ordered bruschetta, pad thai and lamb burger. Each item was a treat and I must say it's a must try. In addition to the amazing food they also have a small book shelf where patrons can help themselves to books while they wait for their meal or just grab a book and laze around with a coffee.
The best place we found in the whole area (and we searched!) There is a cool vibe but dont let it fool you, this is a foodies place. Their Kadai paneer is probably the best dish I had in India. Thupka soup was top level (even better than in genuine tibetian places). Malai Kofta, spinach sizzlers also really good. Amazing veg pakora. Have to keep it honest and say the veg sizzlers were a bit mushy so not the best choice here. And great service of course:)
The Moonlight Café is located about 300m from the Dharamkot Main Square, and serves dishes from a medley of cuisines like Indian, Chinese, Israeli, etc.
They have a sweet seating area, which in the earlier hours has sunlight filtering through the sliding windows. There are a lot of comfy cross legged seating areas too, slightly problematic for taller people.
Overall - Great experience! Really good food!
Must recommend dish - Schnitzel with Pita Bread, Salad and Hummus.
One of the best cafes in Dharamkot! The food is very good here. The ambience is nice. You can spend hours here enjoying the ambience and the view. The service is on slower side but the staff are very nice. Don't miss out this cafe if you are in Dharamkot!
The atmosphere of Moonlight Cafe was pretty good, but that's where it ends. Had tried Indian food which was not good at all. Will probably give another cuisine a chance one day, but nothing now.
It had become my go to place in dharamkot to sit and work for long hours. Their ambience is amazing, they have great food, and the host has great taste in music
If you want to headstart your day with some great food, take my word for it and visit this amazing cafe. The scenic view and four paws will welcome you with all the zeal and viridity.
It's a great place, and the ambience of this cafe is Amazing, u can find locals, foreigners, and tourist chilling out at this place. The best part is they have rooms and dorms too if someone wants to stay there
Food is delicious service is amazing and beautiful music, Bunty and everyone here makes it feels like home. We chill there almost the whole day without getting bored! We love moonlight cafe, we spend most of our time in dharamkot here. Highly recommend to chill here for a whole day n try mushroom cream sizzler n everything else to be honest.
Very bad experience in moon light cafe at dharamkot The owner is in very high attitude like a trumph So i highly request to everyone plz do not visit moon light cafe in dharamkot Go every where in dharamkot but forget moon light cafe in dharamkot
Good ambiance, comfortable seating and nice view. Tried cafe mocha, GLH, sandwich and sizzler, food is delicious here. This place is quite crowded in the evening and vibe is good. Service is a bit slow and glass in which I was served water smelled of smoke.
