They levy service charge which is not legal. Hence doing illegal act and forcing customers to pay for that. Portion size is too less quantity is poor we ordered biryani which was pathetic with every less quantity of chicken. Beer is costing 330. Very expensive and not worth.

Well, there are only a few good places for proper north Indian food in Himachal (taste wise), which is an irony. Moti Mahal is one such place to relish your Dal Makhani and Naan. If you're hungry and craving for north indian food, you won't get disappointed.

Visited this place on Saturday (3rd July). As we were bit late for lunch, we just ordered 2 things - 1 starter (Paneer Tikka) and 1 Biryani. The paneer looked well marinated but the taste was not at all good (it was bland). We then tasted the biryani and it was also not up to the mark. Moreover the green chuttni provided with Paneer Tikka was watery and bland.

I had gone there with big hopes (keeping in mind the brand name of Moti Mahal). However was totally disappointed and won't go back there or will recommend this place to anyone.

This restaurant doesn't even have a washroom of its own! Food is good though but the price is on the higher side.

Top notch service, good taste and awesome waiter bhaiya, he was happy to customise menu for your needs.

Totally loved this place, they have got a diverse menu. Value for money, they serve the best North Indian food in the city of Dharamshala. They have a bar, and serve almost everything. Their staff is excessively humble, and the service is really fast. A big thumbs up.

Had celebrated my marriage anniversary here. Ambeince, service n food was absolutely fabulous.

Very good food, more than this Staff is very friendly and cooperative. I visited Moti Mahal in Dhramshala, and a unusual incident happen with me in 15 Oct 2019. I lost my wallet in the same Mall where motimahal is. Mr Prakash who is employ there help me in finding wallet and he was so supportive he helped me investigating CCTV footage and finally I got the wallet money from the guy who have stolen it. I am very happy with the so true people and food is really so awesome.

Good View, Good Food. It does has a wide variety of food options. Though it is small and in a very consolidated space it makes good use of it. A good place to be, if waiting for your movie, not otherwise though.

Easily noticable from outside! Sitting sofas are marvelous! Totally deluxe place! Luxury at its best at this place no other restaurants nearby can provide you with such good food and sitting place! Even after the food the dessert is so mouth salivating! I just love this place!

Worst biryani I've ever had. Told the obtuse waiter to tell the chef to not make it spicy at least thrice. Still it was so peppery. It was as if someone randomly threw a couple of chicken pieces in stale pulav.

Great food! The Chicken Bemisal and Khasta Roti are a delicious combination. Great fine-dining ambience, serves alcohol, is a neatly maintained place and makes good food with good proportions per serving. Recommended.

Butter chicken was delicious. Palak paneer was one of the best I ever had. Would visit again.

One of the best fine dining restaurants in Dharamshala. Great food in terms of taste and quality. Ordered for chef special non veg dishes and they were cooked to perfection, well almost! They also have a bar menu and the decor is elegant. Great for celebrations with friends or family.

A brand new restaurant with good service and food. Also offers a good view of the mountains.
