We, a group of 12 people recently stayed at Mountain View for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Everyone one including the owner, Staff as well as the cab service (Sachin ji and Anil ji) were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our family really enjoyed our first snow fall experience through the breathing views from the Homestay. Wish to visit again in the future.

If you forget something here don't expect they will return you. Cleaning staff keep it and they never give it back to you. I forgot my Bluetooth headphones and the said that they didn't found anything.

We have stayed in January 2022. Good hotel, friendly staff, good home type food, good location. Highly recommend place for family and kids.

Service is also very slow. We have do the self service.
You always need to ask for cleaning of rooms. They even don't provide the water at rooms. They charge extra for that.

What an amazing place to stay! No complaints at all from this place. All rooms are spacious enough and clean. The bathrooms are clean and have geysers in them. They give very nice blankets so you will never feel cold. The homestay has a very cosy look and the views are just beautiful! The homestay is perfect and the balcony has a great view!

The staff is equally good and very helpful! They have a really good cafe with an outdoor sit out. You will enjoy the view there as well.

Considering it was a weekend the prices were very high. They charged us 3000 for a family room. Room was neat and clean. Washroom was also clean. It had a good valley view from the window and the balcony. In toiletries they gave us two soaps and two towels.
However, food was not at all good. We had ordered Dal Makhni, which was smelling badly and hence we returned it. Kadhai Paneer tasted normal. They gave us plain roties instead of butter roties as butter was not available. For breakfast, jam was not available for bread jam. Paranthas were very dry and not at all soft.
Giving 4 star for the room and the view it has. 1 star cut due to the quality of the food. Maybe it was just not our day:) Overall Nice place to stay.

Stayed with family in July 2021. Chose family room that accommodates 4 adults on the ground floor. Very neat rooms and bathrooms. Huge common area for all gupp sessions:). Meal requirements needs to be communicated in advance. Good and fresh food. View from balcony will take your breath away! Highly recommended.

The reason for giving 5 star rating is, unbelievable hospitality and positive vibes and hygienic stay. People here are so respectful.

A relaxing place with a beautiful heavenly mountain view from the restaurant area and every corner of the homestay.mouthwatering food, roadhead property with parking, reasonable price and a hospitable staff makes it more interesting.moreover this homestay is a better option to hault for longer travelling for kinnaur and chanshal as compared to shimla which is over expensive and over crowded.

A very warm and peaceful stay. The rooms are extremely well maintained with wooden walls and flooring. We had amazing view of fagu valley from our balcony. The services are also good. If the owner can increase there food menu a little more that would be perfect.

Positives:
1. Good view from Balconies
2. Good wood work and sofa in rooms
3. Apple farms and packing units near by which are worth a visit.
4. Hot water in washroom
5. Wide open space around this home stay.

Negatives:
1. Limited options for food. Good to inform in advance if any specific option needed.
2. Poor exhaust from wash room which always smells
3. No extension phone and electric jugs in room
4.lack of proper hygiene and cleaning w.r. T beddings, towels and other toiletries.

Awesome location, away from the maddening crowd. You have to be careful to take the cut down lest you miss it. The rooms are overlooking the hills and pine forest. You are almost breathing in the clouds.
A little more intervention in house keeping and kitchen hygiene needs the attention.
Recommended for all those wanderers who are looking for peace and solace.

A very fine home stay. Newly built with all amenities having view in all the rooms, neat n clean with very cooperative staff specially owner Ranvir Singh. He is a good guide also. Food is good but can be improved. I, d like to visit again. Value for money.

We stayed there for a week. Location is awesome and view from the room you can’t beat it. Rooms are also clean and spacious. The only issue if faced is with the staff (who served food etc), he was pretty rude to us and not at all helpful. Ranveer who helped us to get this place is nice person and very helpful but he doesn’t stay there, so you have to deal with other staff. We have taken that place with all the meal as we were working from there but food served was not good and after informing also it didn't improved. Overall not recommend for longer stay but for 2-3 days it is really a good option.

I stayed here for over 2 months. I have stayed in a lot of different places in Himachal but the room was pretty nice and the view from the balcony was just breathtaking. The food was pretty good too and overall the service was great. No place is perfect and if and when there was an issue, it was resolved within minutes. Ranvir ji (owner) and Yashpal (Caretaker) were always available on a call and they were both very helpful and friendly. I had a great time here.

An absolute gem away from hustle of Shimla.

I was looking for a place away from the city in a quiet valley and nothing else looked as appealing at Mountain hill view home, Fagu.it's just 17km away frm shimla and 3km away frm Kufri.

After the booking was made their front desk executive Ranvir singh thakur called to confirm and his hospitality was beyond amazing even on call.

When we reached the property we were awestruck by the beauty and serenity all around. You could actually hear that vibrations from the Valley.the lobby wqs amazingly kept.spank clean and beautiful aromas.snowfall and rainfall makes more attention to us.
Apple tree and cherries tree are given extra spices to our journey. Ranvir and other staff were very courteous and helped us get in our rooms as quickly as possible. We were celebrating our 1st anniversary so they went all the way to decorate the room, bring cakes for us and arranged for surprises

The best thing was the view! The room balcony had amazing views and serenity.we would sit thr for hours with our teas.

The food was soooo delicious- and presented very nicely. There food standards were top notch even better than 5 stat properties we visited during this trip. ️

One of the best homestay i've ever stayed in so far. You can't expect anything more for the bucks you shell out. A little away from the hustle and bustle of the town offers you very serene atmosphere in Shimla along with beautiful panoramic views. Owner is very hospitable.
