Thoughtfully setup hotel in a beautiful location. The staff are sweet and make you at home servicing with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious and homely. We tried the Kangra dham for dinner and poha and Parathas for breakfast.

Regret not having more time here. This place takes you back in time and is such a romantic setup the heart finds it hard to leave.

Personally I would choose the Naurang yatri nivas over any of the other places around for it's charm and warm sense of belonging.

Rooms are comfortable and service too is great. The problem is that the washroom is not attached. It's common.

Garli is a small town and along with Paragpur, which is an adjuscent town, they are Heritage Villages.
This is an ansetrial place turned into a Yatri Niwas but certainly the best Niwas for any Yatris those wish to stay in a clean, hygienic, peaceful and most importantly homely atmosphere.
The rooms are cozy but really wel.maintained and peaceful. The toilets and baths are common, but they are so clean and wel maintained, that you will find all the amenities of any star hotel, here.
The choice of entire decorations and furnishings and linen etc is with some thought behind.
The food is made to your choice from the avaipable options. We were most happy tha we could get Himachali food that was most delicious and interesting.
This you would most rarely find in the restaurants in the Himachal.
If you are interested to visit the heritage places that still left here, you must take a guidance before you start, as not many villagers know about it or are ignorent and not very helpful.
A good stay, food and hospitality at Naurang will make your stay worth here.

We stayed at Naurang Yatri Niwas during our visit to Kangra. It was a very neat and clean place, the ambience was so good, it was kept so well maintained. Every necessary facility was available there. We had a food there and it was delicious and fresh like home made food. The staff was very nice and take care of all your needs. Nice hospitality and nice stay.

Very beautiful sarai. Decent prices. Staff is good and polite. Food is also good and if u r travellimg with infant or toddler, staff helps u with milk and special food. Recommended.

Well maintained property, warm staff, great food. Only thing to note is there are no attached bathrooms in any of the rooms.

A heritage lodge which once hosted travellers and merchants in Garli. It is made of red brick and very well maintained. The staff is helpful and courteous. They have clean rooms and dorms for accommodation at reasonable prices. The in-house kitchen serves very tasty and homely food. Everything is freshly prepared. Great place for a weekend gateway.

Awesome food, friendly atmosphere, amazing staff. The only thing missing was attached bathrooms. Do ask for local dham or makki ki roti. Notify staff in advance

A heritage lodge situated in the heritage town of Garli.
It is a wonderful place has its own vibe. Awesome view and great Indian food.
Stayed here on my way from Dharamshala to Delhi. Just awesome

Beautiful property, needs to be maintained. Could try and revamp it to make it look more upmarket. Should especially use the garden area, we had breakfast in the garden and it was a great experience. Wouldn't suggest staying here unless you're backpacking, there are no attached bathrooms and the rooms are very basic.

Away from the city noise this undiscovered gem is situated about 12 Km.from Famous Jwalaji temple and just 4 Km.from Maha Kaleshwar Panchtheerath which is on the banks of Beas. It is a Heritage building converted into a Lodge. Unlike in a Hotel where you are confined to 4 walls of your room, here you can feel the freedom and liberty to spend your time as you want. Toilets are not attached with the rooms. But locks for your washrooms can be arranged. There is a common TV room which doubles up as a reading and dining room. Home made food is marvelous and you can even have Ice cream served on a leaf, pure Desi style, on order. You also have an option to have your meals in the open air cafeteria. Kangri Dham (Local cuisine) is also served if you order in advance. All in all your stay will be filled with nostalgia and you will yearn to come back again.

It's a beautiful retrofitted building.the only disadvantage is it does not have attached washrooms. The hotel/ yatri niwas is very well maintained and is clean.it serves home cooked meal (both veg and non veg) it is just 4 km away from river beas.narrow lanes.vintage feel.only if the government would have maintained its age old styled havellies and vilas. Loved the ambience of the village.
