We had very pleasant stay at Neelaya Riverside. Room was very specious and clean. It's equipped with all the required amenities. Food was excellent.and reasonably priced. The homestay has garden in front which has variety of fruit plantation. Just accross the homestay River Beas is flowing. The owner Dhireshji's mother who runs the homestay was not available.but Dhireshji and their cook made our stay comfortable and memorable. It's highly recommended during your stay at Kullu.

Neelaya Riverside is home away from home in the truest sense. Neelam aunty and her son, Dhiresh, welcome you with open arms and hearts and make you feel right at home. We spent our laidback mornings and evenings lounging around the porch and the lawn surrounded by natural beauty and great conversation and heartwarming company of our hosts. Neelam aunty treated us to amazing delicacies and juicy nectarines from her orchard. The property is literally by the riverside and we spent a couple of beautiful evenings just watching the world go by. Add to that, the old world charm of living in a gorgeous wooden house with spacious and comfortable rooms that face the lawn with its beautiful flowers and trees and the mountains beyond the river. It was a special time and we would definitely visit again.

I have been fortunate to visit this property twice and trust me it has been an experience by itself to be in this serene environment with the cool breeze of the river Beas flowing along and the majestic overlooking mountains at the backdrop, transporting one into a another world.
The hostess Neelam ji is an incredible person giving you the personal touch of warmth and comfort, ensuring your stay to be worth your time and giving you the feel of a ‘home away from home’.
The rooms are spacious and cozy with all the basic needs thoughtfully provided.
Neelam ji in fact goes a step further by ensuring the most delicious homely meal with a personal touch by her tender care and hospitality. The spread out lawn and a vast open space perfectly ensures that kids can have real fun time and the adults can bask in the warmth of the sun with the cool breeze of the Beas flowing by.
Overall, ‘a must visit’ place to be included in your bucket list for your next memorable holiday plan, be it anytime of the year, Christmas to New Years or the mid summer vacations.

At Neelaya Riverside, we were never too far from home. The warm hospitality of the hosts, the beautiful colonial cottage, the relaxing garden and the vivacious river right beside made this a perfect place to spend our 3 day vacation in Kullu. The home-made food was delectable and the conversations with Neelam aunty on the porch made for a personal touch that is unparalleled in hotels and even other airbnbs and homestays I have stayed in over the years.

This property is very close to the heart of Kullu town, yet when you’re in the property, the crowded town seems miles away. We stayed as a family of 6 and couldn’t have been more comfortable. If there was one regret, it was that we didn’t have another couple of days to spend here!

I stayed at Neelaya’s riverside for a month and it was all for the warm hospitality of the host that I had the best experience ever! Neelam aunty and her son Mr. Dhiresh made me feel like family and made the stay so homely and comfortable. The fresh and delicious food, borne fires, the river side view (which I believe is the best in town), the conversations, and connection-I got it all! I travelled right after the pandemic, and so I was paranoid, but the cottage is so neat, clean and well maintained that I didn’t have to worry at all. I want to mention the warmth of the hosts of the cottage again because that’s what made for the best stay-cation experience ever; and I’d always be grateful to them.
At the cottage we used to paint, knit together, read, and listen to music. Since I was there for a month, I got to meet other guests that came to stay with us…it was lovely to meet new people and spend time with them. I got an authentic taste of festivals and cuisine of Himachal that I absolutely cherish. I spent Sajja (festival of Himachal), Lohri, Christmas and also new year’s eve here, and did not miss my home at all!
The beautiful cottage is accessible from Kullu, Manali, Bhuntar, Jibhi- so if you love exploring, staying here will make it convenient for you to do so. Since there is plenty of car parking space, you can also bring your car. Soak in the sun, spend time at the riverside, have the most fresh food, be amazed by the magnificent Himalayas, relax, read, write…all at Neelaya’s Riverside.
