I recently stayed stayed at Nirvana and found the entire experience to be quite average. They portray the property as premium but it lacked basic amenities like proper electricity which is very essential in extreme winters. We had to use washroom with our flashlights on. For a few hours that we had electricity, the voltage was so low that the electric blanket won't get warm and neither you could boil water in the kettle. The food however was good but options were very limited.

The property is also home to 5 German shepherds and for a person who is utterly afraid of dogs the experience was not very pleasant.

Overall, I found it to be quite over priced and inconvenient. It is definitely not a comfortable luxury stay.

Amazing view, wonderful food and taste of food is awesome, they have a nice ambiance for night activities like outdoor bonfire and indoor bonfire and cuteness of dora and flora is like cherry on the treat

Our first time Glamping and loved every moment we spent at the scenic Nirvana Hamta. The views and the nearby locations are one of the best the Himalayas has to offer. The hospitality has been top notch and we are already looking forward to coming back soon.

I'm glad that I chose to stay here. The hospitality of the hosts is five star infact! I always look for a cozy place with company and their dogs, namely Dollar (the eldest), Flora and other cuties never let me be bored of anything.
You get the best views here, a nice milieu and the best food.

We stayed in this property during month of May. We had a worst experience with services specially owner attitude.
Owner guy is super arrogant and don’t have manners how to speak to ladies.
Daily water issue in the morning and it get resolved when you call multiple times
Owner is not ready to take feedback positively on food instead she just put doubt on us and says “mujhe to namak kam Nahi laga Maine Abhi khaya”
View from few dome is not good at all and outside area is too unhygienic. You will feel suffocated in dome which is not having balcony.
Only good part is their staff is well mannered and helping.

I recently stayed at Nirvana Hamta Retreat Glamping, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The accommodation was extremely clean and luxurious, with breathtaking views from the hill top of Sethan. The hosts, Dipshika and Sagar, were amazing and made our stay even better with their warm hospitality and great service. We felt like a family more than a guest.

The domes were hygienic and well maintained, providing a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. It was a perfect blend of luxury and nature. The surrounding area was serene and peaceful, offering a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Overall, I highly recommend Nirvana Hamta Retreat Glamping for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable experience. Thanks to Dipshika and Sagar for making our stay so memorable. I will definitely be coming back!

We stayed here for 2 nights in luxury and mini dorms, This property has great view of snowpeak mountains in front, the amenities and services are excellent. Ofcourse the food here is so amazing

The rooms were very cosy and well maintained. The view was amazing, the campfire at night was perfect. The staff were very attentive and prompt. Electricity went off in the morning but the staff delivered water to the rooms - Great service! Thank you for a memorable night

From where should I start? Views, food, glamps and every thing else is wonderful. Especially the food is perfect vibe of the place is also great. And the owners are one gem of people. You can easily get here by your vehicle. We took our sedan to the place and didn’t face any problem. Glamps are one of the best in the zone. We even enjoyed snowfall here. Luxury rooms and clean bathrooms were just perfect. Favourite place in Sethan. I can give 100 points if possible. Owners told me like a month before about the Hampta permit which made it very easy for us at the checking point.even the the authorities was like “wow, your property owners are great”. Sethan is like an hour from Manali. If u want to be away from the crowd then book this place without any doubt. And don’t be afraid of the dogs. They are very very friendly? ️

I have stayed twice at this place and received same good service. Beautiful view, clean domes and washrooms with all possible amenities. Lovely fur kids along with their parents with whom you can interact anytime during your stay.

I surely visit again and recommend this place to my friends.

Well cleaned doms. Luxurious facilities, heated beds, with such a fine view. Food is also good. Attraction points are also maintained nicely. Place is Very peaceful.

Breathtaking view! Absolutely magical must visit place. Comfortable glamping stay with delicious food and awesome hospitality. Dollar the German Shepard was the highlight he likes playing fetch he made a snow ball with his nose and asked my hubby to play fetch with him. The host Sagar was very gentle and genuine in helping us out which is most important while you visit such places. Will recommend to all its a once in a lifetime experience. ️

It has just been over a year from my trip to Nirvana Hamta Retreat and my amazing experince if glamping with them. I wish I can visit again soon.
But those out there, wondering if this is a good option. Believe me it is every bit worth it.

This place is awesome… The Dome (Zanskar) was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was quite good but owner Mrs Shikha and Mr Sagar sir were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We feel like we were staying at a friend’s home. Thanks dear frnds …. We’ll surly come again to enjoy your services…

One of the best Property in sethan, (Hampta Valley). Views from the Property is just amazing. If anyone travelling to Manali, Should consider this Place for amazing experience. I will surely come again stay for longer time.

It’s a wonderful place to visit. The room was very clean and hygiene. Especially we had a good food there. The view were amazing, they staff were very friendly and very nice people’s. We had a great time there.

Perfect stay for friends and family.if you are a large group then go for the bigger dome which can accomodate 8 people very easily. Network connectivity is a bit issue so work from home might not be as suitable. But the view and food here are marvellous. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset as well while sitting in your dome. This is a must stay place with friends or your loved one.

It is very far located and taxis will rip you off for going there, only good if you visit this place in winters other wise it's a nice place and cheaper alternative to GalmpEco domes, which are also nearby

Great place to stay and my wife was super excited and thrilled to stay here.

The bathrooms in the domes were super clean. The food was tasty too and in sufficient quantities.

They have 4 large dogs so plus points because they are super adorable.

Now the host shes the best, fun to talk and very happy person. Shes also super kind and helpfull, i had a couple of questions and when she didnt know she called her friends amd was able to get the answers for me.

The location can be a little difficult to get to but thats true of anywhere in Himachal lol.

We stayed in the zanskar dome.it was very beautiful and big. Food was delicious. Deepshikha (owner) was very friendly and helped us reach there. Their dogs were so cute. I wanted to stay there few more days.but couldn't due to time constraint. Very peaceful environment. I totally recommended it to other travellers.

So 4 of us friends stayed here during our Manali trip and have to say the service and stay was excellent. The 'glamping' stay was on point with clean rooms and washrooms and all required facilities. Timely service, friendly staff and good food were the highlights of the stay.

There is a beautiful waterfall nearby and if you a little uphill the view is amazing. Glad to have experienced both during our visit.

We also had a great time playing with their energetic pet Dollar and we miss him already!

The only downside, if you are looking for good accessibility, is that they are located little uphill, making it difficult if you prefer to travel elsewhere.

Else, if you are looking for a peaceful retreat with top class service and breathtaking views, this is where you need to be.

We stayed there for 15 days working from mountains, we had an amazing & unforgettable experience.

Location: In the day one sees snow-clad mountains all around from the deck of the house, in the night lights of manali! Many hiking trails nearby, beautiful picturesque sights all around.

Host: Dipshikha & Sagar are extremely helpful, generous and kind. They fee like family!

Right from going to evening walks on the trails nearby, hiking up to the hamta pass valley, watching the weather change every hour is a bliss. With all facilities and good food included and so much beautiful views around this place with now new glamping tents is all we need as travellers.

Dollar & flora! They are the real attraction to this place.

Will be travelling back again sooner, the place feels like home.

My first workstation for a month in Nirvana Hampta Retreat.

Here is my honest review-

1. Home away from home - You will feel part of their family. The way Sagar, Deepshika, Pursuttom Bhaiya treated me was amazing.

2. Wonderful Location- If you want to stay away from crowds and chaos, this place is perfect for you.

You can witness a huge mountain standing in front of you which is breathtaking.

3. Doggy - If you're a dog person and don't want to miss your dog then no need to worry flora, Dollar, Orkut and Dora will take care of you by playing with you.

4. Hike - You can hike anywhere. Advantage of livin' over Manali.

5. Food - As I said before, it is like a home away from home. You will be served with same food they take

6. Weekend plan- During my one month stay, every weekend they will arrange activities for you if you want to.

7. Price - It is affordable and cheaper compared to any other hostel or hotel.

In the hotel, you are surrounded by squares but here you can sleep, eat or work anywhere in the lapse of the mountain.

I promised myself to visit them again next year hope to see them again

The owners own a family of German shepherd who is lead by Dollar and once you meet them they will make you feel at home.

Terrible arrangement by the staff. They can cancel your bookings at end time with the response - 'oh we don't remember, we forget easily'. Very rude behavior. Kindly think thrice before booking here.

A very wonderful place run by sincere people who are there to assist us in the stay and a very peaceful atmosphere and scenic views, loved it a lot and the main highlight is you get hot water all the time, and the food is good, camp fire and the Dom stay very awesome

I visited in early July 2021 with my family. I always want a vacation destination, where I can spend time with my family. Not like try to cover lot many side seen & get tired. If you think like that so this place for you. Weather is very nice, even in July wearing the jackets. We explored day tracking of Hamta, Kalzang dhaba, went to nearby water fall seen lot of apple tree first time. My kids enjoyed lot with dogs (Doller, flora and Orkut).

Thanks to host Deepshika & Sagar. Both has good friendly nature, feeling like home and all the facilities were good.

Exactly what we needed. Beautiful views and fabulous Hosts. Very friendly dogs (best friends with our 3), and delicious home cooked meals. ️

This place is before the actual Hamta pass but don't think its not beautiful. As you can see in my images, this place is awesome for views, you can see Manali from 2000 feet. Host is generous and friendly. As its kind of a little far away place around 10 kms up from Manali it has its pros n cons. Like if you're planning to visit Mall road everyday while staying here it wud be a little difficult as the approaching road from Manali to this place is steep n narrow. You must be good driver to be here. But this place is filled with plush greenery n views. You can easily go to Hamta pass n different treks from here n come back by evening. Very peaceful place

Well.what lot to like.beautiful location, very cool host, and the kids Doller and Flora had me in a look. Doller and his fetch game is like endgame haha. I traveled with my baby May may (my cat), and i never felt i am out in a homestay. Do around the palace there is a cool joint who servers the best Siddu in whole Manali and lugdi oh i we spent our evening there. Thanks Deepshika thanks alot.we will be back soon again. I miss the chats and late nights

I was here for work. I stayed for 15 days and all these days comprised one life. The owners of.the property are too good. I was never being treated as a guest there. Moreover, the super cute dog family makes my stay best. They will befriend you very sooner and you will feel like you are at your home on the mountains.

Excellent hospitality. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Place has one of the most amazing view of the city. Great food. Very close to the starting point of Hamta pass trek. They have two super cute dogs dollar and flora with whom you can play all day long. Had a great experience overall. Thumbs up!

If you want to skip the crowd of Manali and want to enjoy the true beauty and clamness of mountain, I would suggest you to stay in this cottage. The view from this cottage is very beautiful and mesmerising. And it is just few kilometres from Manali.

What an amazing place. Visited mid December and the owner and the staff is super cool. Their dogs dollar and flora are super cute. The place and the stay was superb. Already planned to visit here next year as well. The owners are really polite and cooperative and friendly. It feels like you are at home only with such serenity infront of you. Had an amazing experience mesmerized by the beauty of the place.the hosts (Sagar and Dipshikha) were very welcoming and friendly.the food was amazing (specially the chicken Korma and the mutton gravy).
The rooms were very clean, warm and hygienic.
I would highly recommend this place, would love to go back there.they also have two lovely furry friends who can play all day long and and still would want to play more

The place reflects it's name- nirvana. I am staying here for a month and it is clearly one of the best places that I stayed in Himachal. Amazing location, where you can see the best skies and the city all lit up in the night. Amazing food. And God, if you are a dog lover, be ready to meet the cutest, well behaved German Shepherds ever- dollar and flora Lastly the hosts are soo friendly, they are not hosts, they become family. It feels like home. 5/5 recommended if you are here in manali and looking for some nirvana.

We didn't know that we would stayed in Nirvana Himta Retreat, as we booked the trip through another vendor, and didn't tell me where to stay during the trip.

Surprisingly, we really enjoyed our stay in Nirvana as the place was cozy, and the hosts were undeniably helpful during our stay, the served really good foods, we didn't feel like it's guest house, it felt more we were visiting to good old friends' house.

I'd recommend everyone to stay with them if you happen to have chance to visit there.

If you’re planning to Visit Manali, make sure you plan to Visit Sethan and your stay at Nirvana. Beautiful location with beautiful people managing it. Totally loved my stay and I get to experience my first snow fall. What took my heart is the German Shepard dog they own, dollar, bundle of energy who will keep your heart warm in the cold weather. Highly Recommended

The stay at Nirvana Hamta retreat is experience we can never forget about. The owner sagar bhai was down to earth person. He and other staff was always on their feet to help if we needed anything. The view from cottage is very mesmerising. Dollar their pet not less than a family member, is very active and like to play with guests in snow all the time. He will accompanies you in your trek also. Words are short for expressing the feelings and love for this place and people in here.

The stay was absolute great. Cozy warm rooms, good food, great hosts. The highlight of the rooms were snowy mountains facing windows. At night you can even gaze over the village lights from the top that make some splendid views.

An amazing and cosy stay in the valley. Great hospitality, warm and friendly.

Amazing host, delicious food as per your preference if you are coming to manali then trek for hamta valley with sagar bhai is a best choice. And the Dog Dollar will give you unforgettable memories. Love the place

We were group of 10 people and were dealt smoothly. Place is well managed and clean. Sagar bhai has always been on his toes for any help at any time. Lastly, Dollar my man is the best man to spend time with and go on walks. 10/10.

And to add cherry to the cake, they also provide with wifi services, netflix and their pet Dollar is the most kind dog ever. Will accompany you on walks and take care of your family.
