OYO 10566 Hotel Shanti Guest House

We arrived in Himachal Pradesh early in the morning, and the first thing we went to search for was a peaceful, well ventilated room. We looked for a few options, and they weren't meeting our expectations but quite surprisingly, we ended up in front of this beautiful guest house and we decided to look for the vacant room if available. Fortunately, we were lucky and got a room with sensational views of the mountains in front as well as the deep valley was also visible from it. We stayed here for one full day and enjoyed thoroughly. I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy sensational views with acceptable price.

The location of the hotel is at a distance from Bus Stand which is a disadvantage as local taxi operators charge too much.
Room was clean but services were average.

I booked (confirmed) 2 Rooms at Shanti Guest House Dharamshala.
Hotel Owner denied our booking first but later accepted when we show him screenshot of confirmed booking on mobile.
He refused to give any room with the justification that all the rooms were booked and there was no vacant room.
He then asked us to take rooms directly (not through OYO) at double rates than OYO and at that time (in the midnight, along with family including female members), I have no other option except accepting that.
Feeling regretted for booking at OYO who should check the credibility of these kind of Guest house first before recommending them under his brand name.
Not Recommended. Total Fraud.

On call he asked more money than what we booked online, and once we arrived he double the room price.very treatment, staff n owner both are rude, not gd hotel fr couple.

Nice guest house food was like homemade. I booked through Oyo that was my mistake but overall good ambience by the owner and hotel staff.

This hotel is a cheater. If you are planning to book this through OYO or any other online platform, please don't. I booked two rooms online. My booking was confirmed. Me alongwith my family members reached there at around 7pm. The hotel staff denied to provide us the room. Reason told to us was the rooms are booked. After paying double the amount for a single room. The rooms were provided. Bitter experience. Not recommended at all.

Poor Hygine and depleted rooms and toilets. Over charged while in the reception by saying OYO web/app prices are incorrect. OYO customer service are clueless and couldn’t help either. They work best when some one make booking and not at the time of issue. I stopped booking through OYO from now on.

Property owner and staff themselves rated this hotel as 5 star.trouble created by hotel manager was/could not be resolved by customer care executives.first hotel person claimed that no booking in our name then I was shown as CHECKED IN but entry not allowed until I paid card rate. Oyo also updated the contracted rate in my account without any information/refund to me. Manipulation is evident.beware of OYO

I had a great experience while staying overhere. The staff was very helpful especially Manesh Bhaiya. It's also good to stay here because it has everything in its vicinity which was quite helpful.

If you get rooms with balcony (city view) then only you will enjoy the stay. Without balcony rooms are poor-under rated without any view and no window in the room.

It is the worst hotel in dharamshala.
Never book a room in this hotel.
The staff, the service, the food, everything this worse than you can ever imagine.

Only one person in the staf is good and the other one has very much attitude,
There is no time for food service when ever they want they close it and then we have to beg for the food.
I recomend that not to go there there are far much better hotels near it.

Also adding for rooms - they are not clean and unhygienic.

Totally in love with the property. The owners are very friendly and the view from balcony is mesmerizing. Will definitely come back and stay there again. One last thing, ask them to tie you up to Suresh Rajput for sightseeing. (If you are a group of 3 or less) He's the most humble cab driver you'll find there and ask him to show you the "gaddar point" aka jot.

Good place, decent cost and walking distance to the market and the bus stop. The only issue we faced it that the hot water ran out in the morning.

Worst service i ever experienced in oyo, patchetic service, no water bottle in room at the counter time of arrival and room was ful of dust no cleaning done.

Recommended place to stay, rooms were clean and staff was very supportive. And balcony view (Dharamsala) is amazingly awesome.

Medium range hotel cum guest house for short stay in Dharmshala. However it is on the main road and very near to the market and the bus stand. You can have very nice views from the back side balcony. I had a night stay on 28.11.20

Nice Hotel and Behaviour. Great view from Balcony. I had dirty quilt in my room, Shower water is not that much hot, Room service is not that much good, Wi-Fi very slow but overall satisfactory ️️

Rude staff at reception. We were told "aapne goibibo ko 2100 pay kiye hain, but unhone humein 1400 transfer kiye.to service 1400 ki hi milegi. "
Moreover, we were denied check in because of the same issue. And also we were told, "agar oyo se booking ki hoti to check in deny kar dete. "
Coming to the rooms, the place was absolutely filthy where we had to constantly ask the staff to provide us with basic stuff like hot water supply in bathroom, TV remote, kettle, towels etc.

Hotel not shanti! Staff are rude and unwelcoming. We informed them of our late arrival at 11pm, but when we got there lights were off and we were greeted by a grumpy teenager asleep behind reception who made us feel most unwelcome and only requested one passport. Bed sheets were dirty and no toilet roll or soap in the room. Got woken up at 8am by the extremely rude manager at the door demanding a second passport (considering we have been travelling a lot, this did not go down well for our planned lie in!). Manager equally as rude at checkout and extremely unhelpful in arranging a taxi for us. Which of course he wanted to charge extortionate rates. No goodbye or a thankyou.worst service we've had in india and over priced. AVOID

I had a terrible experience at the hotel where the staff was rude and very ignorant. Room was very unorganised/filthy.

Hotel is situated at Good location near to market and bus stand. Food quality is good and staff behaviour is also gud. I recommend every one to stay in this hotel. If u want balcony and hills view then book deluxe room in this hotel. Rooms are also gud & well maintained.

1. The rooms are pretty shabby - paints worn off, damp and cold.
2. Very basic amenities like waste box, mirror in the bathroom are not available.
3. You have to ask for everything like soap, towel and most importantly hot water. And they will provide only at their own sweet pace.
4. We could have still managed with all of the above if the staff behavior was good. It was horrible to say the least. There were statements like "aap ki jo marzi kare", "manager rest le rahe hai, abhi baat nahi karega".
Overall a very bad experience.

Rooms are Excellent with nice view. Room service is good with delicious food. I recommend all to stay here.

Hot water providing only morning session between 6 AM to 8 AM, bed sheet are not upto mark looks like someone used it before we came to room.

The room was okay. After whole day traveling,
we reached in the evening. We wanted to freshen up. But to are bad, hot water was not available. It was only available in the morning. That was a disappointment for us.

1. Balcony Location is awesome.
2. Food is good.
3. Location is perfect because you can easy access the market.
4. Cricket stadium is only 3.8 km from this property.
5. Reason why i am giving 3star is room rervice is not good.

Seriously. These people gave me a staff room during my stay, which i realised later. Though there was no difference in it from normal rooms. But still.
The food is good, lets say okay. Chapatis they provide are North Indian home made. Convenient location, Dominos Pizza is next door.

The hotel was too clean & staff behavior was also good. Location is also good its approx 1 km away from dharamshala bus stand. I recommed to stay here.

Most PATHETIC Hotel in Dharamshala. We went there because it had good reviews on oyo. I want warn everyone, never ever go there without oyo. Once you check in, they won't even listen to you for any service which is not payable, they will CUT THE POWER during night to save money. The owner and staff are rude, they won't even listen.

Very good hotel, staffs are also very good. Although the rooms are quite old, but you will forget everything with their service and behavior and food.

This property is owned by Season4guesthouse and one floor is reserved for Oyo rooms exclusively. The room is very clean and tidy. Room service is available and good. Easily accessing

Overall experience in the hotel is very good.

Location is Good, No A/C provided, after complaint, OYO refunded A/C charges.
Actually A/C is not required for this location as temperature comes down in the evening during summer.
Staff assist you for local sightseeing booking/timings.
Breakfast is ok, for food they charge more than mentioned in the menu card provided stating some irrelevant reasons.

I had booked air condioned room.and they didnt gave me that room.geaser was not working.wrost place i had ever stayed.manager was very bad he reviewed on oyo app by my phone himself forcely.i recoommend you to do not stay here

The hotel rooms that we got were fine but the staff specially a person who calls himself manager from OYO was very rude. He misbehaved with us. Later when we asked the hotel to keep our luggage for a while the same person said he would charge us 100rs per luggage and for 3hours if it exceeds it would be 200 for the same. Please book any hotel but not this.
