It is one the best homestays in manali. Away from the thriving town. But the views and the property are magnificent

I stayed for 15 days here in March 2022. Here's the pros and cons of staying here.
Pros:
1. Staff is good and polite, they listen to the needs.

Cons:
1. No Power backup -_- not even a single outlet in room. Had to go to ground floor kitchen area (which has power backup) for 3 straight work days as power was off for that much longer.
2. Location of property is far from main Manali, so if you have to go anywhere, you will have to spend Rs. 300-400 each time. The rates are very steep for 2 km for distance.
3. Property is next to a very busy and dustful road, so you will hear loud vehicles passing all night and the rooms get very dirty quickly due to the dust.
4. Food quality is very bad, specially at dinner times. The schedule is repeated every 3-4 days. In the name veggies all they have is mix veg and gobhi. Breakfast is ok occasionally.
5. Cleanliness is a huge issue, saw a mouse of a 7-8 size shoe in kitchen more than I would like to see. Two of my friends and I got food poisoning in span of 3-5 days.
6. Room cleaning is not done regularly. You have to specifically ask for it and done only once a week.

PS- If you are looking for a good workcation destination I would suggest Mid Orchard Cottage in Naggar.

The view was good from the rooms, they have a sitting area in front of the cottage and in the evening you'll get a bonfire and people sitting around it too.

The food was okaish, few rooms are cozy but few dosen't have a good vibe. They will charge you extra 500 for heater and that too is specifically for 12 hours.

TV's dosn't work here, will ask you to come down stairs to get what you needed, will charge you in advance and keep you waiting for the food because they have other guests also.

Place full of cheater. Food quality is worst and never refer to anyone. Better than this there are many options available at good rate in old manali and near by are of this property.

It is a home away from home. We stayed here for a month and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of this place is just perfect, not too far from the main market yet away from the hustle of the city. The rooms are basic and clean. It has a beautiful apple orchard and a garden which adds up to the beauty of this entire place. You get to hear a flowing stream's sound the entire day located right in the middle of the garden, which is therapeutic. The staff makes you feel home and always ready to help with a smiling face. Since we were travelling with our 5 year old kid, they also managed to cook according to her taste. The food is also very good here. In all it's a wonderful place for a stay.

The new owner (leaser) - Raymond and Akash is very rude. No sense of talking to guests. Worst experience staying there. Room is always full of flies nd spiders. Room cleaning is not done timely. Washroom is not safe as anyone can peek from verandah from the openings at top. Owners are money minded with zero credibility. They keep changing statements and will charge unnecessary amounts on the day of checkout. If you give any feedback about food or something then you become their enemy and they will make sure your remaining stay becomes worse. They will even forget to serve you food and you have to rely on outside food. If you like uncooked food you can go there. 5 guests left Rashpa on the same day because of bad behaviour of owners. Kitchen is so dirty and full of insects. Very unhygienic cooking done there.

Although I really write a review for any place but guys, this place is really what you are looking for. I came here with my family in May 2019 and I was really wondering where to stay in Manali as it was my first time and I'm really choosy when it comes for my family in order to provide the best for them.after the gambling in search of hotels for the first trip in Manali I ended up wid Raspa cottages & believe me, it has it's own Manali and feel of rural Himachal Pradesh in its own cottage boundaries.everything was up to the mark when I talk about the hygiene of rooms and bathroom and the smile on people's face.also its a get away from your busy hectic urban life to a sudden beautiful rural Himachal experience and not a usual hotel one. My all well wishes and strong recommendations for this place.

Nice hotel, staff is very helpfull and the view from the room is amazing and restaurant is also available.
