It was a awesome luxury stay, well maintained and spacious rooms. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home. Happy to have visited this place and will definitely visit again.
It was utterly horrible. I was denied entry against my confirmed OYO booking because hotel management had issues with OYO regarding room rent (I had to pay 400/- cash during check out) and though I had called and mailed, OYO did not resolve it till date. Staff and manager were very rude (It is their common practice to make the guest wait for hours if they do not like the OYO booking tariff). Hotel is at New Shimla, sector 3, which is very far from city center. Taxi refuses to go there or charges exorbitantly. Faucet in the room was broken, blanket has holes.
Maybe the worse hotel I stayed in Shimla. 1) Staffs will try to be helpful but they will not give any importance to their customers. 2) Full payment should be done during check-in (no excuses). 3) they don't provide any wifi or television. 4) rules and regulations should be provided briefly in a polite manner. 5) rooms are views are really small (not as shown in pictures). 6) It makes me feel like I'm staying in some random person's house (really uncomfortable). 7) should provide fresh towel, sheets, water, etc (I found holes and stains). 8). I just want you to guys improve these stuffs (overall it was a meh experience for me).
Worst stay ever. I ordered food and they asked me to come downstairs and refused to deliver food to my room. Overpriced food and rude staff. Total waste of money.
No much response to customer. Flush is complaint and owner will inform all guests to turn off valve to flush to save water leakage from flush. But can't repair it.
It was good but some of the facilities were not provided. Dirty pillow covers and dirty towels as well. The food they provide is prepared by them only which is not good and the utensils are also not clean. But when asked was provided.
Very far from the city/ main market. Feel like isolated once you reach hotel. No nearby shops or restaurant to visit though very nice staff. You can get fresh hot meal as they prepare for you on your demand.
I booked this OYO knowing that this is far away from Mall road, since my office was in new Shimla. The hotel staff gave ridiculous answers on service issues.
1. They didn't give us towels on arrival.when we asked for the towels in the morning, they handed us soiled towels. When we asked to replace, they said: "Sir, there is problem in Shimla. Here the clothes do not get cleaned properly. What you see are permanent stains. "
2. On the third day of our stay, I went to kitchen to refill the bottle, only to find out that there is no water filter. There is one pure-it classic, which is not being used. The staff says the water in the tap is clear. The bottle is filled from the tap in the kitchen sink! The next day I overheard one guest asking: RO hai na? And the staff said: "Yes sir! ". Blatant lies.
3. Breakfast: The only option is aloo parantha with pickle. If you ask for curd, then it's chargeable. We asked for plain paranthas for kids, it was charged extra.
4. The hotel did not have menu card for food. The food was good, but at the rate of Rs. 15 rs for a tawa roti, it is certainly expensive compared to options available in New Shimla. The time for preparation was also unjustifiably long. Dawat restaurant in sector 2 offered quicker service at a more reasonable rates.
5. When we were going out, we asked for the keys to the room. Answer: "Sir, the key is not there. The last guest took it away with them, and we are awaiting courier. The master key is also taken away by some other guest. You can trust us, we will take care of your belongings. "
6. The hotel does not have internet connectivity/ WiFi.
7. The rooms you see in the picture were not as big as shown in the picture. The pics are stretched to make the rooms look bigger.
8. We were lucky to have been allocated room on the front side of the building that had direct sun-light.
We stayed there for 4 days since we had paid in advance with non-refundable rent.
VERY BAD HOTEL VERY VERY BAD SERVICE THEY WILL CHARGE FOR CHILD OF AGE 5YEARS. FOOD QUALITY IS GOOD BUT MENU RATE IS AS LIKE 3 STAR HOTEL. STAFF BEHAVIOUR IS NOT GOOD. I SEND MY GUEST THERE FOR ENJOYMENT BUT THEY SPIOL THEIR TRIP BY THEIR EXTRA MENU RATES & INCLUDING THE AGE OF CHILD
I CANT PREFFER THIS HOTEL TO MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AS WELL AS MY GUESTS.
