The owner, Paras and his helper, Pyarelal exceeded all our expectations! They were so welcoming, supportive and accommodating. Extraordinary when compared to other places we've stayed at. In fact, I must mention that no wish is too small or too big for them to handle. I had come to Shimla, especially for snow, but there was no sign of it. Paras phoned all his contacts until he found a place that had snow! Also we forgot to buy some gifts from mall road. Pyaralal went himself and brought it for us. Paras himself went out of his way to get me a flag which I couldn't get anywhere. So to say he makes your dreams and wishes come true is an understatement! Please try them for yourselves.
Location was perfect. Views were breathtaking. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The heater kept us warm all night. The blankets were plentiful, thick and luxurious. Warm water was readily available. Really enjoyed the breakfasts as well.

Pleasant stay, food is good but a small suggestion, if cot and bed is bit more good, hot air heaters instead filament heaters, additional heater if possible on request and hot water kettle should have been provided. If above was there then the stay would have been more wonderful
Camp fire, tea and hot parathas are very good with the service of pyarelal ji

I stayed with family for good 3 days. It just felt like home.
Dont think twice to book this place and more importantly Mr. PyareLal is a gem of a person he is an amazing caretaker and is always available.

We have a very nice and beautiful experience in Paras homestay. The people specifically Paras and Pyarelalji are awesome people. They gave us exactly the homely filling, it was like a home away home for us. Truly magical experience overall.

We visited here at 22nd December. The location is walking distance from Mall road just 10min. The view from the window is amazing away from the rush of the city. The host is quite generous paras ji. We had a great experience here. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious. You can even get local bus from outside hotel to reach to Auckland tunnel from there you can head towards mall road. Overall it was a wonderful experience staying here. Will definitely visit again.

It's an an amazing homestay i must say. The host Mr. Paras who is very young and educated and co-host Mr Pyarealal are very well behaved. They were at our services whenever we needed them. I didnot expect such beautiful hosting.
The distance from Mall road is also not very far. While going to the homestay you can walk to it and while going from homestay you can get buses, cars in very low price.

Its an homestay like a home. The host and caretaker help us alot.satisfied with their hospitality.

This Building is old in appearance but i really enjoyed staying here, the cold was not so much here nut still we enjoyed the Born fire a lot, breakfast was very delicious.

First of all owner, Mr Paras was very helpful, polite and welcoming. He helped us in many ways we didn't even expect a hotel owner would. He even guided us in our shopping as well as for places to visit in Shimla and other nearby places. And then they have Mr Pyarelal as a care taker who is also very friendly and welcoming. He even made tea for us in the morning and guided us for things to do while visiting nearby places. Second, it is located at a very good place i.e. Near mall road and view from your room is amazing.

Best place to stay at. Very genuine price and the staff is quite polite and cooperative. Highly recommended.

Awesome view from hotel. Neat beautiful and nicely maintained specious rooms. Mr Paras and Mr. Pyarelal treated us like their family members. Food is good and on time. Budget rooms are available to fit your pocket as compare to other hotels in Shimla. Whenever I'll go now to Shimla I'll stay here only.

Great place to stay at. It is very close to Mall road. Approximately 1 km. If you want to see Shimla in a day, stay here, in the morning go to Mall road and all the good places in Shimla (except Indian Institute of Advanced Studies) are near Mall road only.

You can also have food at the place. They have a cook. The rooms are also good. Hot water is also available. If you are going in winter you can ask for more bedding also.
They also provide heater for 150 rupees per night.

Mr. Pyare Lal (I’m sorry if I misspell your name, sir) is the sweetest man of India! The nicest and friendliest man I met in my 3 months in India! So worth going this place!
