Great hospitality of Sonam ji (the host)
He is not only a great host but a very good human being. He managed our entire spiti trip (including homestays and travel) and made the tour memorable for us.
I have never seen anyone with better driving skills. He made the drive through the dangerous routes of spiti look like a cakewalk.
His services are highly recommended for anyone visiting spiti.

Best homestay in terms of location and view in Kaza. The owner is very helpful & kind, food is good and rooms are warm & cozy.

Property: Small but well maintained with beautiful rooms & dining area. Preference - If your money allows go with the Top Premium room. It has a wonderful view.

View from the balcony: Top notched. Snow clad mountains on both sides (if it snows, if not still amazing mountain view with spiti river flowing on one side.

Special mention: Meet the owner's kid Phuljung (yes the place is named after him). Actually, he will make sure he comes & greets you. He is the sweetest & most jolly kid you will meet.

Stayed at Phuljung Homestay for our Spiti Summer trip. Must say had one of the most comfortable stay… became great friends with Phuljung and Thiley, the kids of the house…. And the hosts were so nice and caring… would highly recommend staying here if you are in Kaza…

Best homestay in kaza. Being located at kaza city corner with a clear mountain and river view from all windows. You can have a small trek of 10 minutes to the river and enjoy the peace. Rooms have electrical blankets, heaters etc so you don't have to worry about freezing cold. The owner soman was very nice and helpful to us, he was our cab driver too and gave us good suggestion for stays throughout the journey. Delicious local food was served in dinner and breakfast. Totally a worth it experience, please choose Homestays above hotels in kaza.

I will start with a special thanks to Mr. Sonam, the homestay owner along with appreciation for Vivek and Chekhi, the caretakers.
Stay was very comfortable.
The views were very good and uninterrupted. Right in front of spiti river and the landscape behind it. Photos attached.
Had a good time with kids of Mr. Sonam too.
The rooms are cozy and comfortable. Not very big, rather small, but yes definitely comfortable, with hot water in wash basin, electric bed warmers and gas heaters.
The common room is very beautiful and again very comfortable.
Food provided was delicious and tasty. We even had Timma, a local bread prepared in house.
Everyone was very helpful and caring at Phuljung Homestay. I personally am thankful for such courtesy extended yo us by them.
100% recommended. Not luxurious but very comfortable and very home like.

All the things you need are available. Room heaters, heated mattresses, (bucket) water, awesome awesome food and most importantly amazing view of the spiti river and snow clad mountains. The staff is very humble and helpful. The common dining area is a vibe.

We, a group of 16 people stayed at Phuljung homestay and guest house. Everybody was very welcoming. Food was absolutely delicious. They served us the best chowmein I’ve ever had in -24 degrees. The rooms were clean and cozy. The staff was very helpful. In short, if you go to kaza, make sure you stay at Phuljung.

Awesome stay at Phuljung. So humble people and awesome hospitality. Food was really good. We came here in winters but still they were able to give us very good food and stay. Highly recommend this homestay.

The best stay in spiti Valley, the people are very warm and welcoming. The food is very delicious and they cook the best traditional food in kaza and the service and rooms are excellent with nice heaters which will keep you warm in even -30 degrees

Stayed here for 3days at the end of December 2022. We all loved the stay. The place was cozy and the owner's nature was really fun and nice.

I stayed there in dec 22’ and despite the harsh weather conditions, Mr. Sonam and his staff did their best in providing us with the best facilities, food and the cosiest stay. Thanks for making our stay memorable.

Right at the edge of Kaza town, with an amazing view of the valley. Hospitality and warmth of the hosts is unparalleled!

Lovely nice Clean home stay, lovely people and great food, owner's are to good and helpful.
I went there in Feb and my car didn't start in morning due to -20tep and the owner helped me a lot we spend more than three hrs to start tried everything, such as jumpstart, poring hot water, he even called the machanic but they were going on another brake down but on his request they come and genuinely helps us all people in kaza are great and helpful.
Other than our help the rooms are also nice and clean every type of facilities where there like room heater, electric blanket, warm water the food was also very good and tasty Staying there was a wonderful experience.

Stayed at Phuljung guest house for 2 days. Located in Kaza town, i had a wonderful stay here. Rooms were clean and nice. When we stayed, we had some issue with the electricity which was causing some concern related to hot water.

However the stay was great. Hotel has great views of mountain and the river. Food was really good. Chicken was very tasty.

Stayed here for almost 2 weeks. This homestay is located at the perfect distance from the hustle of kaza. It’s run by an extremely hospitable family. The rooms are good, neat and well maintained. If you have to stay in kaza, will definitely recommend Phuljung over other homestays!

We stayed here for 3 days. Rooms were clean. Host are generous with guest requests. Food was homely they have a great cook in Bipin. We would recommend this stay and look forward to stay here in future as well.
