Found a cockroach in food. The staff even had the audacity to casually ignore and take no heed to this matter.

Worst service. No drinking water provided in room after telling the staff. Today I am in this hotel, but overall is everything worst. No coperative staff. Staff is arrogant.
If anybody planned for stay in this hotel, please cancel and inform to other people to.

Very very bad.

The reception staff was not at all cooperative and specially the manager sitting there on the dates of 26/6/23, even after telling the manager so many times he didn’t cooperated with us and let us down even though we told him that we are regular stayee but even then also he lied to us about the occupancy Of the hotel but the hotel was not at all that full. Will never go to their hotel again and would suggest the same to others also as not only the staff cooperation problem but the breakfast was also very bad and the basic amenities were also not available. Very bad experience.

Rooms are small and linen was smelly. There were no towels. We had to request and they came after 40 mins. Shower was not working. The toilet seat water duct was not proper Toiletries are sub standard.

The road uphill can be very dangerous and taxing.

Would definitely not go back

We had a four day stay here we did not get the room we expected the food was terrible and the overall management was not good for cleaning or something else we had to order 3 or 4 times and many things were not arranged when we arrived i suggest if u r satying in here don't order food from here local food is better than this resort the only thing I liked is location and staff was humble and polite

The resort is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with all modern amenities. The staff was courteous, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The food at the resort's restaurant was delicious and offered a variety of options.

Awesome location and view. Relax with friends at peaceful and beautiful place. Very helpful staff. Food quality awesome. Silent and tucked away from city noises and daily hustle. They also have a small zoo.

My two days stay at Pine Drive is worth visiting and staying. Firstly the location is top notch, away from city disturbance. Location and ambience is very soothing where you actually feel the nature, flora and fauna. Moreover, the owner of the property is a very benevolent, nature loving personality and I was amazed to know that he also had an orchid and cow barn from where organic fruits and pure dairy products are served to the guests.
In short, it is a must visiting place and you won't regret it.

Location is great, food is good but this place seriously need to work on room service and hygiene and this property does need a renovation.

We booked a family suite and stayed there for 1 night. Room waa pretty okay but the hospitality was pathetic.
We asked for the ice but they denied saying that some party is going on and its all used there.
We asked for the food to be served hot later at night after 10.30 but that was also not feasible for them.
Also, asked if they could cover the food, but they did not as they were not having extra utensils or proper arrangements to do so.
Would not recommend going again!

The resort was great. Plenty of space to click beautiful pictures. We had a gorgeous view from our room. You can come with your family, as a couple, or even have your intimate wedding/reception here.
The only drawback was that the staff was slow to attend. We had to wait upto 2 hours for an iron, yet we never got one. The food (breakfast) was okay; could have been better. We didn't have lunch and dinner here, but I'm assuming that it would have been okay as well.

I have never eaten such sorry food.
Right now staying in the hotel. The spring rolls were literally dripped in oil, the oil was all over the plate. The fritters were raw and the tea was just water. When I told the chef its not worth eating he said koi na ho hata hai, ladka nya hai

We booked 10 rooms here for a Corporate event of a reputed MNC.for 1 night.
1. The rooms were ill maintained
2. No Running water to Flush & To Bathe
3. No Service- Delayed for Hours. (Drinking Water, No Intercom, No Response From, no towels till next morning, unprofessional Staff & Management)

Good point: Food quality is very good.

However: -

1. Very steep height from main road! Frightful! Dangerous!
2. No lift. Climbing up 5 floors becomes painful.
3. Service is too damn slow.
4. No concept of room maintenance. No cleaning through out the day.
5. Bathroom too small.

All over pine drive is best place in kasauli. They have to worked hard on their room service. Food is so delicious and location is awesome.

A wonderful place to stay and relax. A picturesque view of the valley and surroundings is very eye soothing. The food is good but the service needs a bit more improvement and faster response.

The drive is quite steep for the last 800 metres being on the hilltop.

Pine Drive Resort is on main highway road to Barog, two kms before Barog. The resort is a huge property having independent cottages and around 40 rooms. The hotel lobby is very good. There's a big restaurant and bar at first floor. Food is very good. The rooms are big and bathrooms also are big and clean. They have a big party place inside the resort. Staff and services are Very good.

The property is great but Rooms could be well managed. The linens looked old and had stains even though cleaned. But fresh linens need to be ordered by hotel. Stsff and food were good. Washrooms could be maintained as seepage smell and sometimes drain smell were irritating.

Room sizes are very small in standard and premium category with no window or balcony which makes it very suffocating and filled with foul smell.
Dont book this property if you want to spend a good time with family or friends.
Very poor service of staff with average food only.

Visited resort in peak season in June 2022. Room was dirty. Ceiling fan dirty. TV was not operational. Intercom was not operational. Water pressure in shower was almost zero. Charging extra for kids. No bill even if u insist. Food and cool to breeze was the only thing which was good. You need to be a trained driver to reach the resort. 2 stars only. Go somewhere else if u really want to spend ur hard earned money

but I reached resort at 2: 30 PM and when I went for lunch the lunch was like it has been served from the referigerator and when I asked them to warm it the answer was the Lunch time is over.this is the only thing left now.
Again next day at the time of breakfast no reminder call was recived by their side for the breakfast and when I reached for breakfast at 10: 15 AM their answer was now it’s time to wind up nothing is left now. I even did not have my breakfast and left the resort empty stomach. Totally wasted my money on the name of all meals including …

We went there for a family vacation. But the place was pathetic. Dirty rooms, poor service, unhygienic food.that's what defines this place. On top of this, the staff is very rude and unprofessional. Not recommended for any kind of stay or dine in.

Before I start, let me clarify that I'm writing this review while still at the property. I still have more than half of my stay left. But, I already have so much to share that things just can't get any worse.

Okay, let's begin with the check-in experience. The hotel's policy says 2pm is the check-in time. I drove from Delhi and arrived around 12.30pm.i was told to wait as the room is still isn't ready. Fine. I waited around. Explored the property a bit. Came back to the reception at 2pm to check again. I was told it will take another 15mins. I could only enter my room at around 2.40pm.

And what a room! The mattress has broken springs at the corner where I sat. I almost went through. Then, I entered the bathroom. Disgusting is the only word that sums it up. The shower area, for instance, was dirty with the last occupant's soap still on the floor. Also, the railing that closes the shower section was covered in black algae. Tells you a lot about how low their cleaning standards are.

So, when I called the reception to send someone over for cleaning the bathroom, I had to wait an hour. Why? Because the staff was having lunch. That tells you that the property is highly understaffed. And whoever they have on site, has no clue what soft skills are. Get this - after they cleaned the room (tried cleaning and still couldn't succeed), they just went away. I had no clue that they were done, so I kept sitting on a saggy sofa outside. I had to actually check with them to see if my room is ready. Oh and I almost forgot, the food/bar menu in the room had sticky pages. God knows what that menu has seen in the past.

It's not over. One would expect that if a basic room without breakfast costs around 3300 rupees, the hotel must have its basics in place. Unfortunately, no. After every hour or so, there's electricity cut. And surprise, there's no backup. So, you have sit and just wait.

The only agreeable aspects are the location of the properly, and the tea I had. However, those two plusses aren't enough for a better overall rating. Also, the approach to the property includes 600 metres (approx) of zig-zig driving on a steep hillside. You must be a seasoned driver to get up here in one piece.

So, if you're planning to stay here, i would highly recommend that you travel a few kms up or down the Himalayas and find an alternate option.

Worst weekend experience ever in my life!
Booked my room for Rs 10,000 and the quality and cleanliness of the room was even worst than Rs 1,000 room.staff not at all cooperative.very rude behaviour by them to the guests as if they are accommodating us for free of costs. If anybody wants to relax on the weekend.relax at your hone rather than coming to this resort and spoiling your time and money

There is no other option than a single star rating that is why I have to give this resort a single star.otherwise They are not even capable for that

- Beautiful building on the outside.
- Great Location

and. Now the Reality.

- Worst Possible Room Service.
- Telephones not working.
- Seepage on walls
- Broken Comode in room (which was informed to them after 5 mins of checkin - No action taken)
- House flies everywhere.
- Needed water at night, but nobody was there in the Galley or in the reception. Couldn' t sleep because of thirst.

Booked from Make my trip - thats why unable to cancel.
Wouldn't even recommend my enemies to stay there.

One star probably for good location.
They charge you tariff with GST but never give you the bill.
They serve stale food/snacks and admit the same when the chef is called for.
Stinking rooms with dirty linens await you.
Sorry to say but they lack professionalism.

OMG is the word. Located in lap of pine forest away from crowdy cities. Ample parking. Huge rooms with top priority to cleanliness. Food is just out of the world. I was here for a conference so I can honestly tell you that the food never disappointed during the entire 3 days stay. Only thing missing is a lift as you have to climb stairs a lot.

This is the best resort in the whole area. It has amazing staff and great service. The view from every balcony is amazing. It's a good get away place from the city chaos. There are alot of activities and things to keep the kids and elders busy. The rooms are very nice and the whole area is very peaceful. Great quality service and food. All amenities are available. I would highly recommend this place to be visited with family and friends

There was a Cockroach in the soup and a fly in my ice cream. The kitchen is very unhygienic and dingy. I had to call the room service about 10 times to get 1 thing done. The staff was very rude about it and rudely asked us to leave and go back at 11PM if we don't like their service.
Really bad experience from this resort at such beautiful location. Disappointing!

Hall is excellent for organizing any programme. Everything was okey.

Our stay was fantastic. Enjoyed the fauna and flora of mesmerising view of mountains n valleys right from the balcony of our spacious luxurious room.

Poor service, I waited 1 hour for just getting free the booked room. Service facilities were just bothering and saying we are cleaning the room shortly.

Totally Bad experience. We visited for first time. Food quality was zero. Service was too poor. Their so called manager Mr. Atul don’t know how to talk with guests.

The room had excellent view of the valley, could feel qnd see the clouds entering the room. Had an amazing stay.

Our overall experience was not good at all as this was for the first time, we booked this property for a small outing with friends. The room was not given on time and we were made to wait for more than half an hour. When we entered the rooms, the room welcomed us with used bed sheets, used pillows, untidy floor and used towels. The hotel staff had hardly provided any assistance. For no. Of times, we had to request for all the things which should have been provided at the entry itself. Only exception was the food and food related services which may be said to good.
The hotel is not managed by any experienced and professional staff. The hotel booking had spoiled our holiday experience and since I have booked the hotel, the booking legal me nothing but full of shame and remorse before my friends. I will not book this hotel in future and also will not recommend to anyone.

If you are really looking for a peaceful place amidst nature, then this resort is perfect. Excellent views! Delicious food.

The location of the hotel was awesome, the property is big, the weather was pleasant, the restaurant service staff was very courteous, the food served there was awesome, we loved all the items we ordered. There are lot of activities to enjoy for adult's and children.

But there are few things that has to be taken care of by the owner.

The cab driver was not allowed to sit in the restaurant and have his lunch even though we were paying for his meal.

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning work. Their door and locks got stuck very frequently, the handels on faucets in bathroom were missing, intercom was not working, their wooden flooring were making squeaking sounds when you walk on them, many of the power outlets were broken and not working, the rooms were not clean (needs lot of dusting) and there is shortage of the staff.

Hope they resolve the issues I shared, It will benefit them.

Went to celebrate my birthday with a few friends, couldn't have asked for more. They even gifted a bottle of champagne for the celebration.

As I am avid traveler, i look for the location where i can enjoy myself with wife, food, vibes, cleanliness and ambience.
These all things i enjoyed and found in Pine Drive Barog. Love the location. You will feel like you are in the lap of nature. Perfect Hospitality with delicious food. Staff and the Management Team They welcomed us with the himachal caps and big smiles.
Meals were so yummy.
So i should recommended you to must visit this place if you want getaway from the routine and crowd.

Iam writing this review because I have visit recently in pine drive resort and I want to share my experience for everyone who searches for best resort. I will recommend to visit this resort once. Firstly view wow it was such a fascinating view. Second staff they are cooperating, polite and helpful specially anju mam. Food was delicious. Infra was attractive. Specially they focus on heigine. Having a good experience with super delux room. Lastly I would like to thanks all the staff to give us a good service facility and for cooperating us surely will visit again thankyoj

Loved my stay here, the owners are really warm and welcoming. Shaurya is a decent guy who took very good care of us while we were staying at Pine Drive. Would recommend to everyone to spend atleast 2-3 days here!

Good hospitality. Really had a lot of fun with friends. Stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed. The rooms were great and clean and the view was amazing too. I would highly recommend this place to stay with family and friends.
