Pinehouse Cafe - Kalga Kutla

During our 4 day trip to Parvati valley, pinehouse at kutla was the giver of all that we seeked viz distancing us from the bustle of civilization, beautiful views surrounded with lush forested hills, minimalist living, pure and wholesome food. Our host who runs the place by himself was a great guide and a camping buddy. He shared a great deal of his knowledge and experience of living there, played enchanting devotional music for us, and helped arrange our camping trek to bun buni pass. Along with playing a warm host, his ways of life constantly inspired us during our stay to relish the joys of a simple fuss free living.

Some things about pinehouse

- does not have grid electricity supply. Wood fired heat and bare minimum solar powered lighting
- single hygienic Indian style toilet
- does not encourage alcohol or drugs consumption
- fuss free non entitled attitude required of guests
- all food is prepared fresh upon order by the host himself, a little patience from guests would go a long way
- if it's snowy you could be lucky enough to try your hand at snowboarding, the owner has a personal snowboard which he could let you try out

Pinehouse is Satvik home. It's primarily a cafe with a minimalistic homestay for ones seeking spiritual consort and unwind from complexes of civilization. If you happen to be a traveler that respects mountains for its pristine purity please make yourself known here before your journey ahead towards passes of bunbuni & saar. You can find good food, trekking equipments and blessings much needed to make it to temples of maantalai.

I was staying in holy cow cafe in kalga and it's just 30 mins hike from there. The place is amazing and host Bharat bhai is also very friendly.

Must visit and stay if you are in Barshaini or nearby. 2km trek from Barshaini. Geniune charges (even at time of New year). Must Try their Shilajit, And oils. Everyone in my family have love the Shilajit that i got from here

This place is an absolute gem, that you shouldn't miss if you're in Kalga. It's located uphill in Kutla - almost 30-40 mins hike from Kalga village. For a noob hiker like me, coming across this almost mystic cafe in the middle of the pinewoods felt so rewarding and relieving at the end of the hike. They have a nice menu, offers overnight stay and great conversation. Most importantly, playing with the insanely cute puppers that hang around the cafe will help you recharge before you continue the hike uphill or descend back to Kalga. TL;DR: Do not miss this place if you're in Kalga!

The most beautiful remote place that you will find in kalga kutla.one needs to be there to experience the vibe of the place. Amazing host with mouth watering fresh food, stay with them and experience the best sunset from the chillout place. They also have rare collection of herbs & fragrances check them out as well. Over all once in a life time place to visit.

Serene. Magnificent view. Delicious food. After a weary hike you can throw your luggage and stay amidst nature. You may choose to offer little help in the kitchen, garden, setting up the fireplace etc.or do nothing and absorb the vibes it has to offer. I enjoyed helping in the kitchen a little. Do check their collectibles' showcase, you may want to get yourself or for your friends and family souvenirs to cherish for lifetime. Very hardworking host that took care of us very well.

Best place to trek in kalga even on weekdays, as you can resume your work once you’ve reached. With the most amazing view and good food at such place. Big thanks to the people running this place.

Its a wonderfull place in isolation, one of the best you can find in parvati valley, with great hosts and location, place is very good, must visit, highly recomended

This was my first visit to pine cafe - but it will not be my last. The food was fantastic! Everything was fresh and prepared with great care. With quality food like this and excellent service, pine cafe should be with us a long time.

Coming back from a trek we found this small cafe in the middle of nowhere. We decided to stay here for the night as it started raining heavily and 'twas getting dark. The place is cozy. The food was good but the pricing was a bit high. Considering the remoteness of the place I wouldn't mind it tho. The service is not mind blowing. Just ok. The guy host should smile more. He seems a bit uptight. If u have a preference of western style toilets, u won't find it here. Overall not a bad place to chill. Also, the views are amazing when u wake up in the morning.

And also you can ask them to go on further great treks. You will surely love the vibes if you feel more connected to nature.

Such a beautiful place it is.its an amazing experience in total to be just present there. Pinehouse cafe is built in a way that you'll experience the rawness of nature and afcourse the bunch of people at the place are of a different kind. One who seeks adventure and magick its a must for them. I have been visiting parvati valley very frequently for years now but this place is one of its kind never came across with one like this. A must-visit if you’re in or around Kalga!

If you are truly seeking for something memorizing admist the jungles of kalga you will find a cute little cafe called the" Pinehouse Cafe" in kutla run by heartwarming hosts who shared their life journey with us, it's been over 2 months and whenever I remmeber the experience i can vividly see infront of my eyes, its that much beautiful! Singing songs dancing around the bonfire drinking wine, it's not some party, it's like a therapy. You will definitely connect with the view and people.

This place is absolutely amazing with lovely hosts. A good 30 mins hike from Village Kalga amidst the lush pine forest takes you to this serene place where you'll find no one else but true nature around you. A cozy space with a spectacular view of the orange sky during sunset is something that'll make you visit this place again and again.

After 45 mins hiking from the apple village of Parvati valley-Kalga, you will reach a place where you hear nothing but the sound of waterfall, you see mountains around, pines and devadars.plain meadow to sit and relax with delicious home made food ️ It's a little heaven called 'Pinehouse'
