Radisson Jass Shimla

This is a must, Alpine resort in India! With so much history. The hotel was perfect, the staff professional, friendly, good service, great food, only wish we could have stayed longer. Incredible views of the Himalayas.

Nice hotel with breathtaking views. Breakfast spread was good for vegetarians and staff was very polite and courteous. We did try something from In room dining and fabulous.

Stay was good but food was worst there chef don’t even know how to cook tomato soup staff was good but there manager looks so arrogant my personal advise is improve food quality instead of overcharging thanx

One of the best properties one can stay at. You have a valet parking so no need to worry about your car. You get a complimentary shuttle service which drops you just few steps away from mall Road.
The staff is extremely professional and courteous. Easy check-in process with early check-in (If available)
The rooms are clean and gives you a cozy feeling along with an amazing view.
Bathrooms are clean as shown. Has a spa Area and swimming pool as well.
Breakfast is good where you have normal variety and can improve in that department but the staff is very helpful and do cater to your needs.
Overall a must stay if you want to enjoy both property and local area around.

Marvelous property half km downside of ridge shimla.from the room ridge is visible and Indian flag is shinning bright and high.cafe breakfast is amazing with a lot of variety.mutton rogan gosh is very delicious.food quality is maintained at highest standard and quality is well defined.swimming pool view is amazing.just a disadvantage is that it is divided into three floors which are not interconnected with lifts so you need to change lifts and walk to your room everytime.rest all is superb.

This weekend I visited shimla
I am running my own taxi services usually I take rides by my own.
So when i visit Radisson Jass Shimla I am surprised to know that the Hotel not provide accommodation facilities to drivers most of the other hotels give, not allow to refill water bottle, not even provide blanket and They not allowed driver to enter in lobby area like seriously. What they want to prove that drivers are not human beings. Because of driver they are running there hotel's. I'm very much ashamed to see how they are treating other's. This is not acceptable from the Brand like Radisson.
I Request Higher authorities to lookup they have to improve their standards i don't think this is 5 star Hotel at all.
As I am Student of Hospitality management I also work with 5 star Hotel like The JW MARRIOTT as Frontoffice intern. The word Hospitality means to serve and they prove the way they treat everyone is amazing.

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Room service was prompt. But no welcome drinks. No complimentary cake for birthday inspite of letting them know about it. They made an excuse of corona for this though it was available on order. This was very unprofessional of them. Lady at the reception did not have adequate knowledge about local places and their attitude was quite indifferent. Breakfast had numerous options and was tasty.

Hotel staff doesn't have much local knowledge and do not respond with comfort. I was to reach Radisson Shimla on a day it snowed heavily and their landline was not getting connected. They even didn't bother to inform customers that roads leading shimla and more so to the hotel are blocked. They also charged for the night even when their hotel was inaccessible due to snow.

They don't have 4×4 vehicles and referred to a third party vendor who charged 2500 Rs for 4Km ride.

Even for the next 3 days they didn't have a clue about local conditions and if a normal vehicle can reach the hotel. Girls on the reception tend to ignore any request from guests.

Food is good rooms are clean but if you are stuck in hotel there are no activities.

Had a fantastic stay at Radisson Shimla. Two things impressed me the most, firstly, the food and secondly, the hotel staff.
I sincerely hope they maintain their quality standards as I will surely visit this hotel for my next stay in Shimla.

It was a fantastic experience overall. The property is located near the mall Road and has amazing views from each room. The interiors are very modern and classy. Staff is very friendly and cordial. The restaurant too serves amazing food. Very satisfied overall.

I visited Shimla last week and took my stay in Radisson as it was recommended by our travel agent. The stay was upto my expectations. Our Room was warm and cosy. Staff was polite and helpful. It is located little far away from mall road and all that hassle around with car horns and other noise. Our stay included breakfast and to my surprise buffet was full of options to tickle my taste buds. Chef and waiters were around there to serve and make it the best of the day meal. I’m really impressed and happy with the hospitality and looking forward to spending another vacation soon.

We had 2 days stay in Radisson Jass and it was a wonderful experience. Stunning views from the hotel. Located around 2 Km from Mall road. They have a live kitchen during the breakfast serving many dishes.

Nice location, near to Mall Road. View from swimming pool ‍️ is superb. Food is normal. Rooms are very comfortable & fully equipped. Value for money. I had enjoyed a lot with my family.

I planned a trip to a hill station with my friends in feburary, We chose Shimla as our destination. The soul aim of my trip was to relax and what’s the better option than shimla. The north of Shimla is the beautiful forested Kulu Valley, with its flowing rivers and flowers strewn walks, known as the 'Valley of the Gods'. We travelled to Shimla in car. We reached the Radission Blu Hotel at 6pm. After having some food, which was mouth watering indeed.we went to the pool side which is the most amazing part of the Hotel as it was infinity pool. I spent almost 2 hrs there. It was wonderful experiencing the beautiful nature with that clean water.
Then had dinner which was amazing.
Then i went to my room. In the morning from the room the view was like: There is a mountain peak out there where on one side there used to be fog while on the other side of the peak, there is sun light. You will defintely feel like heavenly bliss there.
It is really worth to have a stay in the Radission Hotel in the middle of natural beauty of North India.

The hotel is located at an amazing spot with a spectacular view of Shimla. The staff is good and cooperative. The food is lovely.

I stayed in this hotel for just two days and I found Every staff member is so caring about the guest even they give attention to your little needs which you could have ignored if not available. And special thanks to Vikash and Nitu they are fabulous people. You won’t feel in this hotel that you are some other place and nobody knows you. The treatment provided makes you as comfortable as you will feel at home.

DIRTY BATHROOM, HOLES AND PUBES ON BED SHEETS, RUDE SERVICE FROM APOORVA UPON CHECKING SHE SHOUTED AT US ON ARRIVAL, DISGUSTING BROKEN BATHROOM AND LAMPSHADES, BREAKFAST WAS FILTHY AND CROWDED GAVE US FOOD POISONING, ITS NO MORE THAN A 2* AT MOST! NO PRESSURE IN SHOWER AND ONLY COLD WATER WITH FLEAS. DIRTY CARPETS, OLD AND DATED HOTEL WITH OLD 1980s DECOR, WOULDNT EVEN LET MY PET DOG STAY THERE IF YOU PAID ME! COMPLAINED TO HOTEL THEY AGREED IT WAS BAD AND TOLD US TO BOOK A REAL 5* AS THEIRS WAS 2*! CHARGED US £400 TO STAY THERE BUT ITS WORTH £20 A NIGHT AT MOST!

Enjoyed my stay for 2 days, received welcome drinks in checkin and ordered food at midnight around 2 am which was delicious and fast service.
Booked massage and it was pretty relaxing! Had great time staying there, the staff lady at gate was really kind to me as she opened the car door for me ever time I went out. I Gave her good tip:) definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting for the first time!

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 days in March and it was amazing experience to stay with Radisson, we both got very good house keeping service thanks to guy Shankar if I not mistaken his name, our breakfast was good also, we will definitely come again soon

The staff is very friendly and helpful, room is good, neat and clean. Parking space is less but you don't have worry as they take care.

Staff is arrogant specially at Reception, other staff is helpful, though the service is below average. Breakfast spread is confused solution, food is average. Rooms and location both are good.

Hotel doesn’t have any facilities for kids. Very boring breakfast. Service is bad slow and poor quality but They charge every bit of their service.most of the stuff behaves like a trainee.don’t have any facility to take care of guest in case they need any regular medical help like fever, headache etc.they change for pick up drop from Mall Road which is hardly a km.

The location is so unique in Shimla. Great hospitality. They upgraded us to suites as the occupancy was low. Overall a wonderful stay.

Had a wonderful stay here as I planned to celebrate my wife's birthday. First of all the property is located at such a location from where the Ridge and the Mall road is close by. Secondly the property itself is amazing with nice ambience and the white theme adds on to the beauty of this property. The staff was too courteous and professional. Hospitality was unmatchable. Check in was smooth and we were well taken care of on arrival. Rooms were very clean, spacious and cozy. In addition the view from the room was mesmerizing. Special thanks to Ms Sakshi who organized cake cutting in the restaurant for my wife and planned some beautiful surprises when we were back from the site seeing. Sunset from pool side was breathtaking. Food was good and they had good options. Overall ten on ten for Radisson Shimla. Thank you 'Radisson' for making our stay so memorable.

Some pros and cons.
Pros:
1. Very convenient to locate
2. Food was very good.
3. All the staff members were cordial.
4. Rooms are well maintained.

Cons / Suggestions:
1. Not many activities- Would like to suggest if kids can have variety of activity within the hotel premises esp.for kids in the age group 7 to 12 years.
2. No discounts offered - Management should offer discounts on F&B for guests who have pre paid the whole amount and booked for longer stays.
3. Outdoor pool not very useful even in summer - Would be great if the pool can be a heated one (not sure if this can be done)
4. Some rooms / locations not suitable for elderly / physically challenged because we need to take staircase pretty often.

Best Radisson hotel I have been to so far in terms of hospitality. Staff is very polite and humble, and would make your stay extremely comfortable with a smile on their face. Another plus point of the hotel is that the view from every room is beautiful.

It is one Wonderful hotel to stay in, The Pearl of Hillqueen. Raddison is stupendous. You'll be well looked after, here! Do come over for the eloquent taste of luxury and extravagance.

Nice place, having spa, suite, restaurant, wi fi facility, easy to reach place.it is worth of visiting when you go to Shimla for tour.

Good locality, good hotel ambience.
But I think they have an excellent staff, very polite, helpful and genuinely warm.
Also I would like to mention that their chefs and support staff are extremely hospitable.
During the breakfasts, we were served food as per our specifications and I appreciate their warmth in serving food.overall a wonderful experience. Thank you team Radisson shimla.

Stayed here for one night, overall experience was good, guy named Sachin in cafe vue valley is a very professional and decent guy, all of us were very impressed by his services, rooms were clean.all in all it was a pleasant stay.
