It’s a small museum located just 1 km from the Kangra Fort. One should definitely visit this museum after your visit to the Fort. Old artefacts have been well preserved in here. Entry Ticket is Rs 35/- per person. View of the fort from this place is the best you can get. There’s a restaurant as well here which serves home like food and the prices are also decent.
Very Attractive place. The location of the meusium is perfect. Surrounding view is beautiful. All Antiques are showing the history of Royal family and their empire. Place is well maintained by royal family. If any one plan to visit Kangra Fort, also visit this nearby place.
Visited twice here. Once with friends and once with my family. It's really nice. It's not only famous for the fort thing But it's also famous for Maata Ambika Temple which is Kuldevi of many locals residing in Himachal Pradesh. This place also has one of the oldest Jain temples. So it's not just a tourist destination it's also a sacred place for Hindu and Jain religion people.
Excellent museum, the correct name is the 'Royal Kangra Museum', wonderful exhibits and Kangra royal history. You should really try and visit if visiting the Fort. Possibly the best views of the fort from here
Very small but lovely museum with lots of amazing things on display which are fairly unique for such a small museum and the old photos of the locality and Himachal Pradesh are eye opening on the history and geography of the place.the cafe is tiny but food and drink is available to a good standard.
Great for a full day outing with family. After the fort this is a must visit place. Was amazed at the history of the Kangra royal family. Right from the entry gate to the exit. The audio guide is great providing a detailed information. There's also an old car kept of the royal family.
