DO NOT GO TO THIS CAFE!
The dining experience at this cafe was utterly disappointing. The food tasted awful, and the service was incredibly slow, leaving us frustrated. We couldn't even finish half of our dishes due to their poor quality. The owner's arrogance and apparent focus on money over customer satisfaction further tainted our visit. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of concern for the patrons' experience. I would strongly advise others to SKIP THIS PATHETIC CAFE.

Title: A Regrettable Visit

I recently had the displeasure of visiting a cafe that left much to be desired. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere seemed soaked in indifference. The staff's rude behavior was a bitter flavor that lingered throughout my entire experience.

Attempting to order felt like an inconvenience to the staff. They managed to combine a lack of enthusiasm with a hint of disdain, making me question why they chose to work in customer service. It was a struggle just to get a simple coffee order placed.

Now, let's talk about the food – or lack thereof. The tasteless offerings seemed like a cruel joke played by a chef who had never encountered basic culinary principles. Every bite was a reminder that flavor and the concept of seasoning were absent from their culinary vocabulary.

The ambiance, instead of providing a cozy retreat, was an awkward mix of uncomfortable furniture and uninviting lighting. It was as if the cafe aimed to be an anti-oasis, draining any joy from the experience.

In summary, this cafe managed to combine unfriendly staff, tasteless cuisine, and an atmosphere that made me want to escape at the earliest opportunity. It's safe to say that I won't be revisiting this culinary disaster anytime soon.

Good prices, fast service. There is a real wood-fired oven where they bake very tasty pizza. The place is very pleasant, one of the best establishments in Vashisht in my opinion. Cozy interior, mountain view.playing reggae:)

Back in my journey in India, I spend some time in this cafe and became friends with the owners and staff, they are the best!
I can't wait to come back! I definitely recommended.

The place has really nice hippie vibe if someone's into that. Food is freshly prepared so be prepared to wait a little longer. Owners are nice welcoming people.

Rasta cafe Manali is a beautiful cafe with a perfect location having a Awesome views of the mountain. The staff is friendly and helpful, and rooms are clean and comfortable. The food is good and cafe offers a great Variety of activities.

The food here is good but the waiting time is way yo much. We had to wait literally for an hour to get our food and the there wasn't any crowd at cafe either.

Ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is excellent and the food is great. For the kids there is hamburger (vegi or meat), french fries and pancake. We all so took a room there.

Spent 3 days in there hotel and it was awesome.staff is nice and rooms are awesome.talk about food it was tasty and delicious

Raasta Cafe is the best thing you can do to yourself when you visit Manali. Doesn't matter if you're backpacking solo, taking yo girl out or vacationing with ma papa, Raasta is the hook you need. Run by the coolest brother duo Pankaj and Ankur, this place has the best vibe with a hip mix of croud. They have this cool hangout lounge/cafe kinda setup you just can't get over. Theirs is a super inclusive food menu, and best picks of drinks. Dedicated parking with super cool rooms. Rooms have a clear view of snow laden mountains. I couldn't help myself telling people about it right away, so doing it as I sit comfortably at their bar (sort of) sipping in the best mojito I have had in years.

Excellent vibes, Delicious Food, Awesome music.
Overall Mesmerizing, you don't want to leave the place.
MUST VISIT!

This was the best experience I could ever get in Manali. Well it’s Vashisht actually and I love the place, because it’s less crowded and better than Manali. Plus Manali is just like a walk away…. So it feels good for longer stays, where I can walk to Manali and get back to some place serene & peaceful. I stayed here for 2 weeks and they are now like a family to me. This is one of the best place you’ll ever visit in Manali. Highly recommend if you’re in Manali please go to this cafe enjoy the vibes, the music, the food and lovely people there. We went there for breakfast and spent half of our day just sitting around and enjoying the vibes and music here

Guys don't go to this place. The hosts are not genuine, they are mostly high and rude. There are plenty of cafes around vashisht, you can skip that. Food is also substandard.

Visited Rasta cafe in April with friends. Stayed in their rooms for 5 days Such a chilled place. Food is really nice and staff and service is also great. Definitely recommend this place.

Not only a cafe but they also have wonderful rooms. Best part about Rasta are Pankaj and Ankur bhai. They keep you like family and ensure you have a awesome time.
The food is delicious, there are a lot of cusines available (Authentic food). There is also the option of having customised meals as the chef here can simply work magic.

A very good restaurant with a nice ambiance. The food served (Veg Thali) was simple but awesome. It take a bit time as they freshly prepare after the order and serve it. Our kid also liked the fried rice. Give it a try.

Stayed here in April 2022.the rooms are neat and the restaurant has a lovely ambience and delicious food. The hosts Ankur and his brother Pankaj along with the staff make you feel at home We have returned to Rasta Cafe after 3 days elsewhere as this feels like our second home!

Absolutely friendly and efficient. We were welcomed warmly and felt at home straight away. Very good food large portions and extremely tasty too.
Rooms are clean and cozy. Hot water in all taps was hugely appreciates.

Ambience is really nice … They have very nice sitting arrangement … you can get a beautiful view of mountains from here.

We order pita/fafafel platter, veg noodles and hot coffee… the falafel platter was awesome.quatity was also enough for two people. Coffee was also very nice. Veg noodles was ok. Do try their falafel platter when you are visiting this place.

Full power ambiance to chill and eat, there's also a balcony sitting, i totally missed to see that until later, the pizza is amazing and so are the drinks!

Definitely a must when you're in Vashisht! I spent quite a few months here already and keep on coming back when I'm in the area. The food is delicious and the rooms are clean and beautiful. Especially the beds are the most comfortable ones I've had during my many years of traveling in India! The vibes are great all the time and the owner and staff are very friendly and always happy to help. Another bonus - the views from the restaurant as well as from the rooms are breathtaking! Highly recommend staying here.

Very professional, very humble staff. A very affordable package was given to me including the hotel property. They took all care of my tenure in Manali and as well as my family needs. It is always difficult to find a good place to eat when you are traveling to places you have never been before. My search ended in Rasta Cafe when i was staying in Vashist which is 20 mins in tuktuk from Manali.

I think I have had atleast 70% of their menu (only veg though). I was staying in Vashist for almost 4 months so it was important to find a clean and healthy place to eat and this was it.

My fav was the Veg Burger, Lemonana and Malai Kofta. Most of the non veg food was good too as my friends were always eating there with me.
You can try some local food there as well depending on what you feel like eating.

The ambience is beautiful and the staff is quite friendly. The overall vibe is chilled out. If you want looking for a place to relax, this is it.

P. S - I played a party here as i am a Dj (by the name Chromaderma) so they are open for private gathering i reckon.

Great food, amazing taste, awesome view, professional staffs, stunning painting all over and reasonable price - amazing combination! Love the breakfast and time spent here. The view was so great that we stayed there long after we finished our breakfast.

Rasta cafe has a great environment and beautifully decorated. I loved their unique paintings which attracts tourists so much. The food is great. They have a various kind of menu which includes menu from multiple countries. Specially they serve great coffee. You can have dinner here and listen to live music as well. This is one of the best food place in vashist road old manali. A must try. Recommended.
