Renuka Ji Temple

Less crowded Palace of Himachal Pradesh. There is tourist may not be known much about this place. It’s Renuka ji Mata Mandir.

This is a place which is combination of hills, lake and zoo. Boating facility also in place. This is a beautiful lake with full of fish and you can feed them. You can roaming into the lake with available boating facility. Weather also very nice. Bus facility also available and you can reach this place without any trouble from Ponta Saheb. Full day you can spend with beauty of nature.

Must come here It is a peaceful place amidst the mountains. Please take care of cleanliness. May Mother fulfill all your wishes.

Very nice place. Before the tample Asan Baraj is there. Environment is very calm. In the Renuka lack we seen different type of fish & Tortoise. There is a 3km circumambulation of Renuka Lake in which you will get to see very beautiful animal parkthere are many animals like Deer, Beer and Tiger etc.

I have one of the best memories here.
In childhood we used to visit here with family.
7/8 times i have visited here.

माता रेणुका का स्थान महान मुख्यालय से 40 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है यहां पर मां रेणुका जी का मंदिर है तथा पवित्र झील विद्यमान है यहां पर पवित्र परशुराम कुंड धार गायत्री पर हरियाणा पंजाब हिमाचल प्रदेश उत्तर प्रदेश और दुनिया भर से तमाम सैलानी तीर्थ यात्री यात्रा करने आते हैं ‌ यहां पर एक जीव अभ्यारण भी है चीते शेर तथा अन्य बहुत सारे जानवर खाने से उपलब्ध हो जाते हैं। यहां पर 2.5 किलोमीटर की एक लंबी झील है जिस पर नौकायान किया जा सकता है।
मंदिर में ठहरने की बेहतरीन व्यवस्था है यहां पर अनेकों आश्रम तथा श्रद्धालुओं के ठहरने के लिए कुब्जा पवेलियन मौजूद है। यहां पर परशुराम तथा जमदग्नि का भी मंदिर है और ऊंचे टीले पर श्री जमदग्नि जी का मंदिर है। जहां से आप आसपास के बेहद शानदार और सुंदर नजारे देख सकते हो।

Found at the edge of famous Renuka Lake, Renuka Temple is a popular Hindu religious site in Nahan. The temple was built in 1814 in the memory of Goddess Renuka, the wife of Rishi Jamadagni and mother of Parshuram. It is said that Parshuram wished to spend his life at the feet of his mother and it is because of this reason, the mother-son duo meet every year during the commencement of annual Renuka Fair. It is also believed that Goddess Renuka is the incarnation of Goddess Durga.

LegendsAccording to the legends once sage Jamadagni got disappointed with his wife, Renuka. As a result he ordered his son Parshuram to behead his mother. Parshuram obeyed father's order and killed his mother at the same place. Another legend describes that when king Sahasrarjun was abducting Goddess Renuka, she jumped on the lake which is called today as Renuka Lake.

Shri Renukaji temple complex is situated in Sirmaur district of himachal pradesh. It is at a distance of about 300 km from Delhi and takes about seven hours drive. The complex has a beautiful temple, a lake with boating facility and a wildlife sanctuary. Overall a must visit place if you have three days time.

The Temple of Mata Renuka Ji and Parashuram Ji is very beautiful. It is built middle of the hills and there is a big lack which is named after Mata Renuka Ji.

A must visit if you're visiting Nahan or any nearby place. Lovely lake. Boating is a must do! Temple is nice and maintained. You should also feed the big fishes and huge tortoise in lake!

A very Beautiful mandir in the mountains and a Parshuram Tal in front of Mandir. So pure and silent from the sounded cities to feel the peaceand pray. There's a shop near mandir where you can buy flowers, prasad and Agarbatti to devote gods and also can buy sort of snacks, cold drinks etc. You can also enjoy the Renuka lake near Mandir.

According to the legend discribes that when king Sahasrarjun was abducting Goddess Renuka, she jumped on the lake which is called today as Renuka lake. It is nice and peaceful place, a lion safari and a zoo are there. It is the site of an annual fair held in November.

Mata Renuka ji Temple is situated in the abode of himalya. The place is a valley. Which is very peaceful place. There is a lake and also a mini zoo near the taple. Which are the attractive points for visitors. If you want to enjoy your day in a mountians and in a peaceful place then you should visit here. Beautiful views for mountain lovers. All you know about the mata renuka devi. It is in distt. Sirmaur. 34 km from nahan. The temple of mata renuka devi is historic and every year a international level festival is arrange by the hp govt here. In this festival you got about the sanskriti of himachal pardesh. Environment of this place is also very good. A big lake which is also named mata renuka lake is here

Best place.economic. Best sight scene. One waterfall on the way. Boating. Big turtle in lake. Zoo. Leopard.bear. Ostrich. Dear. Duck.

Peaceful environment. Boating adds sparks to visit this place. You'll found big fishes in pond, if you are lucky enough, you can see a giant tortoise. Men and women can bath separately in pond. Women bathroom is covered. Overall nice place to visit.

Best thing is it is not crowded like other hill stations. Peaceful environment. Amazing views. This place has a lake with boating facilities available. A mini zoo.
Mata Renuka Ji temple, birth place of Parshuram ji

There is no such big restaurant only one or two food shops are there.
And you should have cash with you no one use wallet or digital transactions.

A quiet place with lovely facilities for boating. Could not visit the zoo. Views are fantastic and the lake is full with Marine life. Did not visit the Amin temple but the surrounding ones are in good condition, although a bit unclean and crowded.

Very peaceful at the lake, where boating is also available. And you can stay in the dharamshala of temple as well

A quiet place one should likely visit to understand biodiversity with simplicity. This lake has died its own ecosystem comprising of wide variety of flora and fauna.

Maa renuka ji temple is a good place to bring family. There is also a lake where you can boat and have fun with family. It's in sirmor district of himachal and only 40kms away from nahan city. One can reach there by bus or personal vehicle. While there rush during mela but it's not really crowded otherwise. It's quite peaceful there during off season.

It's the best place to visit.a person not only gets the positive vibes from the temple but also the best enjoyment as it is also the best tourist spot.one can do boating in the lake.which is in premises of the temple. And good option or restaurants r not available here.one can relish food at a place 'dadahu' is which 2 KM's before Renuka ji! Best place to be in the lap of nature! I love it. Wow!

Nothing to see that's worth the travel time to this place. The mini zoo doesn't qualify for even a micro zoo. The lake has about a foot or two of water in it. That too on the western end. The eastern end is all dried up. The only hotel present is undergoing renovation.

Average place for killing some time, dirty as usual where people are unaware. An average restaurant by HP govt. The lake is nice and the surroundings are scenic but the banks are dirty.

The view f d hills that surround d lakw for boating and d hills enroute is what makes d trip worth it
