River Music Garden Restaurant & German Bakery

My favourite place to eat whenever I have visited Old Manali. Service can be a bit slow but the food quality totally makes up for it.

Chicken korma and egg biryani is amazing here. Nice place to sit by the river. The staff is also courteous.

I love this place so much it's my favourite spot to eat at Manali! I have come here at least 10+ times over the years, and not once have I been disappointed. This is the perfect breakfast place.

Loved the vibe, I woke up in the morning around 6 and saw this place from my hotel room (Dream Land) and had no second thought of going here for my Break fast.
It was just lovely having my meal with so much of peace along the riverside.
Just loved it.
The tea was really really fantastic,
As I am a Tea Lover.
The service was quite good, and everything else.
Loved the place, t he vibe and everything.

Happened to explore this beautiful eating place during my morning trail hike. Loved every second of mine here

Nice restaurant with amazing selection of breakfast and desserts with amazing view. Flowing river create a very soothing sound and you can enjoy your breakfast with peace. Price are moderate to high. They also serve Israeli dish.

Must visited place in Manali.
Must have blueberry cheesecake.

A lovely riverside location is enhanced by the delectable cuisine, cleanliness and friendly service. The restaurant lives up to its aptly christened name. The river music as the Manaslu flows on rugged rocks is soothing to the years. You'll love the three levels of seating - an indoor hall with a bukhari (for winters), an outdoor covered terrace overlooking the Manaslu and Old Manali bridge and a lower pebbled flat area that receives river spray during the high monsoons. I ordered a continental breakfast and a masala chai later. The baked beans were just right but seved in ketchup rather than tomato gravy. The plain croissant that accompanied it was fresh but made of white flour. The eggs-I like fried eggs with both sides fried - had been indifferently made. The coffee that was part of the breakfast was a delicious cappuccino that was an absolute delight. The prices are moderate. I would love to visit again, though prices are slightly more than other comparable restaurant with a German Bakery counter.

The food and presentation along with the vibe is just too good to resist… If in manali… do visit this cafe… 100% recommended

The best hot chocolate I've ever had. The cheesecakes are amazing as well. Being close to the river provides great ambience too. Checks all boxes

One of the best bakeries I've visited, must try if you go to Manali. The food, atmosphere is top notch.

Food was good. We had dimsum soup and arabiatta pasta. Also we had hot chocolate. All of these were yumm. Service was also quick. Worth the price.

The place is absolutely wonderful place to try German bakery items. The Riverside location is simply splendid. The only flaw may be the overpricedness of items, which is normal by tourism standards though

Nice restaurant with a great selection of breakfast & dessert items located along the beautiful Beas river in Old Manali. The vibe here is very tranquil with scenic views.
We tried a few of their desserts. Both food and service are very good. Recommended.

A totally 5 star place, excellent food. Amazing food at a humble yet amazing location (river side). We have tried other cafés as well in old Manali although they may have better ambience and live music. But if you are looking for satisfying food this is the place and reasonably priced. Paneer tikka masala, pizza margarita, apple crumble, cinnamon roll, and masala tea we tried. Long live these good places and long live good food.

This one is a great find in old manali, absolutely amazing food. Their cheesecake is beyond words. The ambiance is superb as you can hear the sound of river at all times. Must visit if you are in Old Manali.

I don't know about other dishes here but we tried tea and cream donut, it wasn't good. The donut had melted after heating. The outdoor seating is average.

Cozy outdoor/patio location next to bridge and Manalsu river roaring by. Great food and wide menu. Very friendly staff. Excellent hangout/meeting place between Old and New Manali. Will be back.

Only one word, Disappointed.
They should hire someone who can cook.

Craving ki maa ki aankh ho gyi baba

A very nice place for breakfast.especially if you're a fan of English breakfast.the breads and deserts are equally nice! Seating by the river and a quiet tranquil setting is just an added bonus.

River music garden restaurant is located on the banks of beaus river and serves delicious meals and breakfast. The view is great and a forest trail lies on the other side of the bank to walk after the meal.

We wanted to sit aside river to enjoy the view so we ordered our breakfast along with momos. Special breakfast was really good and yummy but the other breakfast we ordered was oka-ish.momos were fine but the pancake was really a disaster. Who make pancake like a parantha.tea was not good at all. One can enjoy the scenic beauty along with momos and special breakfast.

We spend our late evening here & I must say that food is fantastic here! Music near river & hot yummy food is the best relaxing vacation you can get anywhere. Also, it’s safe & you can stay here upto late night. They do serve alcohol here! I have ordered grilled chicken & trust me I have never taste such yummy chicken! It’s just awesome experience ️

This became our regular haunt in Manali. Fantastic location just beside the river, true to its name. Amazing seats just beside the river. A wide variety of cuisines available. We tried almost everything in their bakery, and they were all very good. Totally recommended.

Extremely poor taste, same gravy for all vegetables, panner tikka masala and butter chicken have everything same. I request some chef to guide them the difference between both. Half cooked rotis they give which also after hours of waiting, poor attitude as well being in service industry. I request ppl to go to some local stall rather dan this poor cafe.

Really love the ambience, they have outdoor area which beautiful scenery river side. The apple pie was good, and coffee was ok. Price just and staff was friendly. They have any kind of cakes and coffee. So its nice place if u wanna chilling #coffeeshop #coffeeshopmanali

This place has an amazing menu. The right balance of Indian, Chinese and continental. The bakery items are fresh at any given point of time in the day. We ate several times during our stay in Manali. The place didn't disappoint us at all. They have good options for tea/coffee.

The staff is polite and friendly.

The bonus is the location. It is on the bank of river, so the name is apt for the cafe.

I would love to visit them again when I come back to Manali next time.

Do try out the trout and Daal Palak, when you go to the cafe.

This is the best place to eat in Manali. Located just beside the Beas river and actually you can hear the bess river flowing which is music to the ears. To add to it you have excellent coffee and continental spread. Yes the place is a bit pricy but not so much that it would burn a hole is your pocket. I liked the place so much that paying a little extra outweights the quality of food and ambience many folds. Must visit for a person with a different idea of dinner if you know what I was talking about.

I loved this place. This is the awesome restaurant, club. Restaurant menu is already uploaded by some one please check also the games available are at very reasonable rates and the view of the river, sound of the river is something which can't be explained in words I have uploaded video of the view of river and it's music. Completely a worth visiting place.

You better not come here otherwise you will fell in love with the scenery and their food! I sat there for 3 hours enjoying my hot chocolate and the serene beauty of mountains ️

Oh the lovely place!
Every time I am in manali this is the one place where I always visit.
Food here is really photo worthy.
Plus the location of the cafe is really great it is just by the river and the name is fully apt for the place.
It also has a German bakery which have a great variety of cakes.
It is great place to chill Manali style.
It also has a garden where you can sit which is just by the river plus the staff is really humble!
P. S. - FOOD IS REALLY TASTY!

As a German, I really liked there Cakes and bakes. Best I have tried in India. Also good cafe and friendly Owner!

Opens early, got our morning grub before heading back to Delhi. Plus being by the river is always recommended in Manali
