A short breather in a long journey. You can stop for 10-15 minutes break and enjoy the view with tea/coffee. There is a small waterfall passing by. Recommended best time to visit is during rains. Other time waterfall will not be seen. You can only see the rocks.
It's a beautiful picnic spot near Banikhet. There are many man-made water bodies and you can spend nice time there have food in there restaurant. It was well maintained and kids love visiting this place.
It is a beautiful location. But the local people are dumping their waste into the small stream! Sad but true. I request the local populace to keep it clean and green.
Must visit places. Do the chamera lake visit and then on return to Dalhousie you can visit here. Very quiet place. You can have lunch in a restaurant here.
Poorly maintained or should I say not maintained at all. Not sure if there is any maintenance of this place. Perfect place for selfies and pics as it has wonderful background, you just need to be little sporty to be able to climb some rocks, there is no defined path or way to reach to the top, it is up to your fitness and willingness. This place is little dangerous for toddlers, please be extra careful with them. Please visit before sunset or around sunset, in absence of natural light, this place is nothing. Not a kind of place which I can recommend as a must on your bucket list, but if you have an hour available, do visit this place. 3 star for it being a natural place and for it's lovely background.
It is strewn with huge rocks. There are some gazebos where one can sit and an artificial pond in the garden. Just to complete the visit, nothing much to sing about and is in no way comparable to the rock garden at Chandigarh.
It's a refreshment destination located on Chamba-Benikhet Road where naturally artificial water falls are made on stairs for kids enjoyment, Hotel stays for mountain chill views and eatable can be enjoyed in open area sittings.
Nice place with natural stream water getting collected.a very small place.no feeling of garden as such.ancient temple and gurudwara nearby.on banikhet chamba road.
It's a nice place where just trek towards upwards where you find one tea stall, enjoy tea and Maggie out there. Would have rated more if Government and locals, tourist everyone takes responsibility to keep the place clean. You'll find juice packets and chips packets all over. There is lack of dustbins out there. Also, have seen locals throwing garbage in stream & mountains. Please locals & tourist keep the mountains clean.
This is wonderful place for small time excursion and spend a good evening with family/friends but spoilt equally by locals and tourists due to government apathy in maintaining it. There are no waste disposal options and all garbage is getting dumped in the stream. There's no effort by anyone to keep this place clean and beautiful.
PS - Don't stop at what you just see at the front. Take an effort to walk up the rocks to see the real beauty!
Nice hotels, all depends on price. Use oyo discounts check price and than direct Book from hotel at low price by showing Oyo price (if oyo price is less, but think about availability)
A small place covered with mountains on one side and plenty of Rocks in it. A small stream flows as well. You can halt here for some food or coffee. A nice view of mountains exactly on the Dalhousie Chamba Road.
One of the best place for photography in Dalhousie and waterfall is amazing. You can do small adventures activities at this place but price is very high and you can also get beautiful hotels around this garden.
One of the best peace places where you can spend whole day such a lovely place and very small rock garden here, you can see the Beautiful views of mountain and do some little zip line activity for small children Adventure trekking also see the very small waterfall and don't forget to see the Beautiful bridge on river behind the rock garden, spend some time at Devi Dehra temple If you like give me
When we go for Dalhousie they offered a trip in which they include 1. Rock garden, 2. Dam, 3. Boating point, 4. Temple. Among those four-points the rock garden is time-consuming and wastage of your time. Please skip it from your schedule and utilize this time else.
A nice getaway for a waterfall lover. The panoramic views of the distant mountains, the sound of the peace inducing waterfall and the rocky landscape - a mini paradise for a nature lover.
Rock Garden, Devi Dehra, is a picnic spot of himachal pradesh. Too many rocks in a garden with so many hotels around, transport is also good, no worries of being stuck. A good place to see
Not much big but very scenic and full of natural hill-side beauty. As you approach the garden it looks very simple and artificial, but after you go inside just 20-25 metres, you come across a rivulet stream flowing between big rocks. There are many places where you can sit and enjoy the flowing water. Across the road is a splendid far-off view of high mountains. As you go upstream it becomes more adventurous.
But finish the tour before sunset as there are no lighting arrangements. Some small but clean restaurents are also available here.
I have also posted some images of this place for public view.
We visited this place in September (off season). There was no garden in particular, but a small residential area with some cafes and a small stream of water flowing in between.
Though this place has nothing much as it is not well mantained but i enjoyed thoroghly with my nephew as they had a small zip line. About the food that Himachal tourism resturant serves, kadhi rice and gulab jamun were good. The toilets were clean.
There is a small waterfall and small stream of water flowing inside the whole garden. Although the ambiance was nice, some of the tourist were blocking the flow of water by standing barefooted in the middle of water stream. There are many good photography spots and some good sports activities like zip-lining etc inside the garden. Allover a good place to visit.
Yesterday I visited in Rock Garden with my family group. However there was very hot but we enjoyed very much. There are lots of fruit tree (plum and apricot) in adjoining property and we eat fresh fruit. I will suggest if you are going to see Rock Garden, must try fruits and drink water from Natural resource.
Nice place with a small waterfall. Few activities available but be there before dark. A small place free of cost but can be good for kids. We reached there late evening so couldn't enjoy much.
The place is good enough for some clicks but otherwise it is not maintained. The place had lot of garbage lying around and the fountain does not work. The cafe nearby are also so-so.
