It was lavish to stay there. Staff including cheff bittu bhai were great. Owner mr. Mukesh is awesome person.

Place is perfect for vacation. Service/food was amazing. Owner/Manager helped us in arranging SUV for trip to Sangla lake at very reasonable price.

Sattva pine resort is an amazing place to be close to nature. It's a disconnect from the busy world and has spectacular views of the mountains and the baspa river. The hospitality is amazing and the food served is extremely delicious. Highly recommend this place of you and around Sangla

It was a wonderful stay. Very relaxing It is near the river. The cottages are very comfortable. The view is amazing as we can see the snowy mountains. It is 100 times better than the camps.

Sattva pine is a little boutique resort located near batseri village perched between sangla & chitkul. We stayed at this gem of a place for 2 nights during our visit to Sangla and boy I'm so happy with our decision to go with this resort it sure felt like nirvana. We were welcomed in a traditional way with a small bong & a white satin scarf was put around our necks, then we were shown to our room which was so warm cozy & and had all the amenities you would expect from a modern boutique hotel. Once we settled we were given herbal tea as a welcome drink which I'm sure was loaded with multiple benefits. The resort is located amid nature and the only sounds you would hear are the birds chirping, and the river flowing. The food served was organic and delicious, the chef Mr Bittu does a splendid job and he knows how to please the guests for sure, some of the produce was grown on their own land around the cottages which was like a farm to table experience for us. Akhil who is the manager a young chirpy guy will do anything to make your stay more comfortable and always wears a smile on his face while serving you. They have the most adorable dogs on the property which was a cherry on the cake for us. If you are looking to book a stay anywhere near sangla, chitkul Or batseri look no further and book this wonderful place, you will not regret it. Highly recommend this property.

This place is at the foothills of Himalayas with a river flowing close by. The view from the resort and the rooms is a treat to the eyes. Loved each and experince specially the morning walk to the village. Their staff and chef are too good at their job. Enjoyed breakfast in the open area and dinner in their dining space.

The resort was very peaceful away from the crowded cities. The staff was very helpful and would surely ensure that you have a good experience. The food was very tasty and was cooked according to our needs.
The rooms are beautiful with a great view and the wooden work is amazing inside the cottage.

Stayed for three nights with friends, warm welcome, best hospitality, very cooperative staff, beautiful cottages, mouth watering food & dishes,
Explored Batseri, Sangla, Chitkul, & Kalpa from there.
Icing on the cake was Bonfire & musical night with karaoke.

I loved absolutely everything about this place. We were three families with kids and stayed here for the new year and loved every minute. The location was superb, it has beautiful cottages, ample open space and homely meals.they even had special new year plans with karaoke, firecrackers and cake. It was very close to a beautiful lake and batseri village which was like a short trail away, totally doable with kids. The place was definitely worth every penny we spent and I would love to visit the place again.

We stayed in this heavenly place for two nights last month. The hospitality is top notch! The staff is extremely cordial and took care of all our needs. The rustic ambience is magical, the Baspa river is breathtakingly beautiful and the majestic mountains towering over the resort leave one breathless! The rooms are extremely beautiful, hygienic and cosy, and the food is delectable Special thanks to the three puppies who guard the property- they made the stay more pleasant!

Wooden cottage overlooked the picturesque scenery of the snowy mountains and hearing water stream which is priceless!
Perfect stay to be lost in nature. Lovely staff with a great deal of hospitality. Loved the campfire facilities and engagement activities during the nighttime too Food was excellent and prompt with local dishes being a highlight across meals. We had a wonderful time here. Undoubtedly, good hospitality and welcoming staff. The food is good. But hear me out before going - pointers being:

1. Extremely overpriced for the rooms. These are normal wood cottages, small even. You will find many luxurious cottages with half the prices, with the same view of pine and river. Can't see the snow clad peaks from here, which Baspa is famous for because it's in the middle of Seringche.
2. It's almost 1kms down the main road, which is steep - that is they are only catering to the car crowd. If you travel by a bus, or don't bring a car, it will be treacherous downhill and uphill. So many reviews and I am surprised no one mentioned this. It is not in Batseri.
3. If it snows, then the property looks pretty, otherwise it doesn't look like a resort at all. If you have been to a resort, nope - this is not. It is a cottage stay with food.
4. Parts are still under construction, which frankly is a big eyesore. Structures still being built, doesn't look pretty at all when paying so much in this part of Himachal.
5. A simple kadha tea was worth 80 bucks, which a resort never charges for. A simple kadha - which we had because the temperature was subzero and we caught cold. Even that had a huge charge. Kindly don't order anything extra, apart from the buffet/food they provide.
6. Another thing which ruined the experience was, while welcoming you the manager and owner is all smiles and sent help up the hill, for our bags. But when we requested the same while the day we were leaving, because the upward trek to the main road is more difficult with bags, they refused straight away. Hospitality much? This was unexpected. After much nagging, sent Kamalji to help us.
6. This is okay, if you don't find anything in that area, towards your drive/travel to Chitkul. Other than that, skip it for the above mentioned points and stick to Sangla. You will save a lot of money. To reiterate - not worth 5k-7k per night. Nope, not at all.
7. Thanks to Yash, Kamal and Akhil for serving us and Tiger the doggo for being such a good boy. Would give them 5/5. Not for the property, etc.

Excellent food and very nice location. You will feel like home here. Special thanks to mukesh, akhil and master chef for the hospitality. I am trying to provide some details here to help visitors. From sangla valley the resort is 4-5 km approx. Though the approach road seems to be rough but it is very easy to drive to the resort if you come in day time. During night just drive carefully but you wont regret once you reach at the resort Food is awesome. You will feel secure in the resort. Just ask for your needs and everyone in resort will be there to help you out. Overall a very memorable experience staying in the resort. My best wishes to whole Sattva Team.

1. Only thing is Road connectivity to Resort from Sangla Chitkul road is bad.

It was a nice place to stay beside river Baspa. The place is well maintained and the ambience of the hotel is good.

I visited this property with my family a couple of months back and I don’t think I’ve stayed in a more beautiful place other than this in India. Sattva Pine Resort is beautifully placed in the lap of Baspa valley. The resort is in the foothills of snow-capped mountains.
The best part of the stay is the hospitality and food. The owners and staff (specially Yash) are very humble and food is unexpectedly good. We trekked to the nearby Batseri village (Guided tour by Button).

We stayed over at Sattva for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The view from the resort is breathtaking and the place is a perfect getaway for any group (couple/friends/family). We were a group of 4 adults: 2 couples and I was 6 months pregnant. We drove from Shimla to Sangla which took approximately 8 hours and the last 20-30km was a little bumpy, but we decided to go for it. And I can assure you that Sattva is worth all that drive and travel.
Amazing place with mesmerizing scenic views with great people around to make our stay comfortable and they go out of their way to help the guests. Navitha and Sidhik were both great people and took special care of us. The food is reasonably priced and is super yummy! Please don't miss out the Shahi tukda and Radhe chicken there. Yash, the helper is always smiling and made sure our stay there was perfect in every way. Everyone at Sattva with their smiling faces and polite talks gives a very warm, peaceful and a happy time there. The cottages are very neatly maintained and all basic toiletries provided. They have a dog named Button and I couldn't leave him without hugs and kisses. He was very friendly and accompanied us for the little trek to the river. Overall, this is a place I would love to visit again with my family and friends. Its simply superb and perfect in all aspects. I don't think you should have any second thoughts in booking this stay if you are Sangla. Happy travelling guys!:)

I stayed here in October and the place is absolutely amazing, surrounded by pine, apple, fir trees. The place is filled with flowers and you can see and hear the river from the cottages. The owner is the sweetest and the staff is the best. I had so much fun and literally didn't want to leave but had to go back home. And Button (their dog) is the best, he guided us all the way to the river, he walked in front of us and then came back, he even dropped us to our cottage at night. The whole place is so peaceful, calming and anyone who is coming this side to chitkul and other place must stay here.

My stay was exceptionally good and everything about it was wonderful. Special mention includes food freshness, quality, variety, preparation, the humbleness of the staff, the eagerness to serve and the happiness on everyone's face of having me there. The best part of my stay was their understanding of my needs before I could say it. The cottages are an abode one can imagine. The location is beautiful with flowing Baspa creating the backdrop music and the serene mountains painting a soothing picture. With nature playing its part in my vacations and Sattva team completing it with their services, it becomes an ideal vacation to have. One cannot describe this experience without being melodramatic. Cant help giving full points. Kudos team Sattva. Me & my family are coming again in winters.

Beautiful location and an ideal place to connect with nature. Namita and Sikander are great hosts and the property is well managed as well. Food is awesome and the best part is that they grow there own greens. Very nice trails along the river for you to walk and enjoy.

This is by far “THE BEST” place I’ve been to in India and Canada. We absolutely loved our stay here. The entire staff and the owners were so polite and welcoming and made us feel at home during our entire stay. The food is delicious, kudos to the Chef! This place should definitely be on the bucket list of places to visit. And you would want to take their dogs (Tiger & Buttons) with you after your stay.

This is the best place to stay in Sangla valley. You can see the snow capped mountains from your room. The trekking across beautiful Batseri village and the adjoining snow mountains gives you divine experience. You can take a relaxing walk along the bank of river Baspa which flows very near to the resort. Room heaters and hot water bottles are available in the cottages. The staff is very hospitable and well behaved. The restaurant of resort is multi cuisine and food quality is very good.

The staff and the owners of the place were very polite and gave us a really warm welcome. They also have 2 amazing dogs.

We felt at peace the whole time and this is what you look for when you are away on a holiday.

Very good resort in between Himalayas. I am in love with this property. Plz visit again and again. Food was very delicious.

So I was travelling in Himchal a week back and this is when I stumbled upon this resort and thankgod I did! Totally justifying its name, it is surrounded by pine trees, snow clad mountains and the clear flowing river on the side. The property is just located after Sangla, in a place called Batseri.
We were warmly welcomed with a steaming hot cup of local tea. The owners Niveta and Sikander, were so friendly and comforting, we started chatting in no time. We chose the room which was closest to the river. The rooms are traditionally built, fully wooden, well equipped as geyser, hot kettle, room heater, blankets all are provided. You can also hear the sound of the flowing river from the room, which is the best music ever!
The food provided is simple yet delicious! They provide full course meals and pamper you for choices. Specially the breakfasts are to die for.
What was suppose to be a night stop, we ended ed up extending and staying for two nights. And if not for the return tickets, we sure would have stayed there more.
One can also take a hike around the property and visit the local villages and reach near the river bed, it is so beautiful. Chitkul is a hour and half from the property and so we took a day trip!
In the evenings, we had bonfires and chatted over drinks and music!
Have to mention, that our Iphone charger was not working and Sikander was so sweet to offer his own iphone charger to be used for the rest of our trip. That is the kind of hospitality you can expect, they really leave no stones unturned.
In all have been an amazing experience and just cannot recommend this property enough. Do give it a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful cottages with amazing view of snow clad mountains. Best part is the service, Sikander and Navita are very friendly and take care of all your needs very well. Food is amazing, do try local food and beverage. The cottages are quite spacious and shiny new. There is a river right below the resort and hotel can organise good experiences there. They take you on village walks and must visit destination would be Chitkul village, last village of India near Tibet border, near the property. My best suggestion would be to get a book and relax. For anything else, call Navita and Sikander
