I give 0 star to satyam home stay, there is nothing, smelly, small, dammed, dirty rooms, all most hole day and night there was no electricity, geyser not working, one small lamp dark place like hunted place, staff behavior is not good except women caretaker, they locked us from outside. No body was there. After So many phone calls one women rescue us. Food charge is so so so high abnormal. Please don't go there.
Definitely worth every penny, the food and the view is awesome! At this height, getting everything at this price and with such nice hospitality, amazing! Do pay a visit!
What would i say more about the Homestay, you can assume it through the pictures. The Homestay is located in such a beautiful location you can see the glaciers directly from the balcony, which gives you exact 180° view, which is amazing. And the service by the Homestay is also good.
Slightly overpriced but except this, everything is perfect about this place. From wooden rooms to delectable food, it is great. Breakfast with a view and evening snacks with games and books, you choose your own world. Well behaved staff too.
My experience during my stay in Shoja during my workation in Satyam homestay thanks to sid and anurag. An experience to live by the quaint set-up in a village which is called the Hamlet of Himachal- Shoja - Strolling through the pine trees and the woody fragrance of Oaks and Cheddar - old fashioned houses with cosy homely setup for an experiential stay in nature's retreat - Visiting the Serolsar Lake and local waterfalls for capturing great memories - Enjoying pahado waali Maggi around the beautiful Serolsar Lake with the wind in your hair and a picturesque view for your sight - Recreating multiple Bollywood scenes at the famous shooting point at Jalori pass, Raghupur Fort & Seruvalsar and Manimahesh Lake Lambdi trek * ask the host sid and anurag - Home cooked wholesome meals with the warmest hospitality by the host thanks to anurag and sid it was great experience - Bonfire nights with music, conversations, dance, and lots of games to bring in the boogie - Photo walk in the serene localities in and around Shoja
Secret Waterfall Sojha Jalori Pass Serolsar Lake Tirthan Valley Raghupur Fort - trek and campaigning Lambdi trek - ask the host
It has one of the best location spot. But, many a times attitude matters a lot than the jwellery u wear upon. Not satisfying experience with the arrogant & irresponsible person looking after the property there. It wud be in the best interest of management to constantly monitor the workings there. And get in touch with their customers. U shd have an airtel connection else u sit outside and try to catch Jio as there is NO Wifi.or Dongle from the hotel.
Perfect homestay in perfect location. Thanku Anurag and siddhant, you both went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The best part is location and food. I am privileged enough to stay at. EAT, SLEEP, WANDER, REPEAT at SATYAM HOME STAY
One cannot find a better place to stay than this in Sojha. The host Anurag is an amazing person. So friendly and really caring. About the food, i just can't describe in words how amazing the food was! Even a simple dish like paneer bhurji was mind blowing and we always ended up overeating. I can promise that nobody can find better food in Sojha than here. The view from here is enchanting! The lobby area is just on the edge and you can sit there in front of the mountains sipping your tea/coffee (amazing prepration here), read your book etc. Hands down this is an amazing place to be.
It is a lovely homestay, located in such a serene and peaceful setup. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, equipped with clean bathrooms and geysers for hot water. The place has a power back up (mattered to me as I was working from there). The staff is warm and welcoming. The cook bhaiya prepares delicious food. There are a few nature trails close by as well for short hikes.
Amazing place and great hospitality. The view from the property is Fantastic, the host Sidhant is a very warm and welcoming person, while the food needs improvement. It gets quite chilled at night even in Summers and temperature dipped to 9 degrees in June. There is provision of bonfire in nights and crowd is awesome.
We stayed there for two nights.view from the balcony and terrace was really awesome.dinner and breakfast quantity was really good.rooms are not luxurious and bit colder during night but it was okay since from homestay you can't expect all.they have car to rent to drop jalori pass or nearby sightseeing places.overall pleasant experience.would love to visit again.
I visited here in 2019 with my friends. I would like to suggest every one to visit here once. Rooms are very good and beautifully designed. Food was delicious. Definately I am going to visit it again whenever i will have time.
I have the best experience staying at Satyam’s home stay which has breathtaking view. The hosts treat you like family specially the owner Akash would go extra mile to make sure you stay is comfortable. They provide services like bonfire, barbecue and also you can watch live match and movies on projector. Now talking about food, they serve amazing homely food and the taste is unmatchable you won’t feel that you are in mountains with the variety of options. Make sure Akash is there when you visit the property and he will help you with all the information and guidance for the places you can visit nearby and if you want a guide to take you to places like Jalori pass, Sirloskar lake etc he will arrange everything.
I chanced upon on this homestay, during my stay at Sojha, when I was walking around. Instantly liked the property for the view it offered. I stayed there for 3 nights. The host Akash is a wonderful person and treated me as a family. I was a solo traveller and he ensured that everything is taken care.
The food was awesome, typical punjabi food served hot always. He was always available. There was bonfire every night and some yummy snacks to munch on and had a wonderful conversations. So if you are in Jibhi / Sojha valley, I strongly recommend to stay at this place
A perfect get away from urban life! Peaceful beautiful place away from all the stress. Best accommodation in the Village good tasty food with best service. If you are in Shoja or Jibhi please visit this place for tasty food they serve.
Brilliant is not the word to express how beautiful this place Cool staff very good service. "Great place for group gathering" "Excellent place to stay, well maintained and managed.
We stayed there for 3 days. It was the best stay we had ever. Small places but good people. Akash bhaiya was there to help from picking us to drop. Best food. Best lodging.
Calm & peace is what if you are looking, navigate to this destination. Less said always mean more but this place deserves every bit of mention about its location, weather, quality of property and the way it is maintained. Justified pricing and everything at its place gets it all the stars. Co-operative staff with great nearby knowledge.
They are hard working people and managing it well. We visited in off season. But still they managed whatever we needed. Rooms are small but well maintained. The location is perfect to view the valley. Kudos to Mr. Akashdeep. Well done.
One of my friend suggestd this place and it was an amazing experience.starting from the place to ambiance, hosts, food. It was a great way to relax with your love one, with bonfire. A nice sit out with wonderful view of mountain and sky, where you can enjoy your morning coffee as well as evening breakfast
Would love to visit again. Thanx
Only drawback is that there wont be any network reception for Vodafone users
We went there at the time of Winter. The place was totally covered in snow turning it into a dream land. The homestay is excellent with all amenities. Akash takes care of everything you need. He is a very nice guy and we truly enjoyed our stay there. It was memorable.
Nice location and really helpful staff. Jalori pass is a must visit which is 2 kms from Sorja. Akashdeep, the owner is a very friendly and genuinely good guy
