Good place to hang around and take pictures. But the drawback is that educated local people have a habit of standing (no civic sense) in the middle of the way and disruption the people who are walking.
Scandal point is In my opinion it's a best place visit with family as well as solo, it can provide you with all its facilities like bar and restaurant at different levels, like bar is on top floor and for food it's on first floor, Superb place and food is delicious and awesome.i love it, moreover it's staff is cool u will feel like you are in Paris the atmosphere and the experience will be osm
It is neither a real nor an important point. It is just one Scandal by locals and local government. It a junction in the market and NOTHING special about it. Locals and local government creates hype to attract tourists to come and shop from exorbitant priced local shops!

This is quite a good place with pretty good views. The scandal point, Gaiety theatre and the ridge combine to make this a must visit place in Shimla. They are situated at a walking distance from Mall Road. These are among the few places in Shimla which are not all about skimming money from tourists.
A place with historical importance during the British rule. Its a small circle during a walk from mall Road to the Ridge. A police would be standing here with a fancy turban. In all good place to understand the history. Can click photos due to its importance.
You won’t feel like in India by looking at the buildings at scandal point when you are Shimla. Don’t get confused just keep walking and enjoy. Evenings are generally better to roam around.
Ugly nasty smelly place with highly congested environment. You can't even walk freely two steps due to sellers and Beggars and dogs and monkeys. Except crowd and smoke you can't see anything. Shops and shops and more shops But no nature. If that is what you want in a hill station then it's for you. Definitely not a place for nature lovers. No facilities for elderly people or people with wheelchair.
