Wanted to watch Dunki, but don't know why they were playing Salaar. I was free, and Dunki shows in Ayaan Cinemas were housefull, so I decided to watch this Salaar in Shahi cinemas. And it was the worst decision of my life. The movie itself is so annoyingly dark and on top of that Shahi's screen is also very dark. I literally couldn't see anything and I had to walk off at interval as I couldn't take it anymore. The theatre is in a very very poor condition, I don't even know how is it surviving in this day and age. They should sell it to some multiplex chain who can make a better use of this.
Simply outdated in every aspect - sound, screen, picture quality, seats, hygiene. It's good that they still trying to keep open the iconic single screen, but they have to keep up with today's standard. I came to know they had housefull shows of Pathaan recently, probably for the first time since 2016. But that's more due to the unprecedented craze of SRK. Rest of the time, it doesn't attract people at all due to poor condition. Owners should seriously convert this into a proper multiplex, a good 2 (or even 3) screen multiplex can easily be made here, given the big size.
