Shaktipeeth Shri Bajreshwari Devi Temple

I visited this place after 14 years and and this gave me so much nostalgia that my eyes almost teared up. The peace and tranquility at this temple is just amazing.

The serene atmosphere of the temple of the goddess Bajreshwari, and its surroundings including the mountains make it a surreal experience to seek blessings.

If you want to reach Shri Bajreshwari mata mandir or kangra mata mandir, firstly you have to reach Kangra ISBT then take a auto towards kangra mata mandir or nagarkoti mata mandir which charges you 10rs per person. It will drop you at the main gate of Temple then you have to walk for 10-15mins for mandir.

A very pious and religious place and a Shakti peeth. Puja samagri is available just outside and it wasn't too crowded.one has to walk a bit to reach the temple

But they should work alot in maintaing the place's sacredness.
Really disappointed because of unhygienic mats over there.

Safety and security is well managed by Kangra Police.

This is an important temple in the Hindu tradition. One should try to visit and get blessings like thousands of pilgrims.

My hometown has a lot of divine places to visit. One of that is Bajreshwari mata temple. This is the one of its kind temple with 4 stage architectural design which eventually represent 4 religions in it. 1. Entry gate is representing church. 2. First small temple structure is mosque representing soofi traditions 3. Second tall structure is gurudwara representing Sikh tradition 4. The tallest structure presents hindu tradition. Hope whomever is going to read my feedback might got a little knowledge about this place in different way.

This temple is one of the shaktipeeth in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. In Hindu religion, auspicious things are performed like mundan of a child. Inside this temple, Sheetala Mata mandir, Bhairav Nath (i.e. Chaitr Pal) Mandir and Kali Mata Mandir are also there. From Mahabharata point of view, this temple has it's own significance. There are two ways for entering this temple. We visited this temple today in the afternoon and we loved the experience.

To much beautiful place and there is tremendous peace here if you are good enough to get there you will surely found what you are searching here for

Itbis a Shakti peeth present in Kangara city of Himachal Pradesh. Here Mata Sati's left breast fell down. During Dasera (Chaitra Navratri and Ashwan Navratri) time it is beautifully decorated with full efforts. Once I got opportunity to visit this place during Navratri Dasami and I was mesmerized by the beauty of this temple.

Brijeshwari Devi is the famous Shaktipeeth of Kangra and Uttarabharat, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. In this temple, Mata is seated in the form of Pindi, and every year Makar Sakranti is offered Makhan. And later the devotees who come to the temple are distributed as Prasad. You can walk from Kangra bus stand in this temple or come in auto.

It is located near Chamunda devi temple (Kangra) housing Vajreswari mata in the Sanctum Sanctorum, The left breast of Sati has fell at this place, Thus making it a Shakitpeeth. Temple is believed to be built by Pandavas. I have attached a picture of the history (If interested, Please check-out). The present temple also has 3 tombs.

A really good Temple located just by the Road. Peaceful and Serene.
I had a very good experience visiting here! There were a few Monkeys around but they didn't bother much.

Beautiful temple of mata brajeshwari devi. This temple was robbed a number of time by the Muslim invaders. Md Gaznavi robbed this temple at least 5 times, in the past it used to contain tonnes of gold and many ghantas made of pure silver. In 1905 the temple was destroyed by a powerful earthquake and was subsequently rebuilt by the government.

Very nice religious place. Devotee's from various parts of India come and worship Mata Brijreshwari.

Located in Kangra Town, one of the oldest shakti peeth. Many of the invaders like Ghazni and Firoz Shah Tughlaq looted the temple. Temple was rebuilt in 1905 after damage in earthquake. There is a nice market in surrounding.

One of the most famous and historic devi temple in Himachal. People come here from from far far distance just to see kangra devi. This temple is very old and people do believe in this holy place. The temple look beautiful from inside after walking though the gate in the photo you have to walk a little bit up to the top of the hill then you can see the gate fot the temple, the main structure is in middle of the temple the old one it is surrounded by other small small temple for different god and goddesses, the one how came in kangra for any reason should pay their visit to Kangra devi once.

Very neat and clean and we'll manage by security. You don't find posters and beggers like you find in other temples.

How to reach. By bus you can get direct Bus from delhi. However the best is to take a train and get down at pathankot cant, just outside the station u will find busses directly going to Kangra. The temple is just 1 km from the main bus stand. While travelling through bus you will see the natural beauty of himachal through your bus window. For accommodation u may find options from Rs 100 to 500 nearby the temple. Or u may even look for dharamshalas to stay. On the we day if y wish u may go to chamubda devi temple which is around 18kms from kangra main bus stand.

It is huge temple with a great hustle and bustle lots of people came here very day whole temple stands on only few pole type structure. There's also other facilities like cool water and langar (with dedicated timing) for visitors arranged by temple comeetie. There's no restrictions to click pictures (except main temple hall).

Dedicated to Goddess Durga, the foundation of this temple was laid by Pandava brothers. According to local legend, the Goddess appeared in their dream and asked them to build an abode for her at the place where this temple stands today. Plundered multiple times by Muslim invaders such as Md. Ghaznavi, Shree Vajreshwari Devi Mandir was once a treasure house of tons of gold jewelry, ornate ornaments and silver bells. The temple was ravaged by a powerful earthquake in 1905 and was rebuilt with help from government authorities.

Temple is in Kangra, not very far from Jwala Mukhi and place is famous for the Mata Brijeshwari cculpture made from white butter once in an year and also distribute this butter as a parsad and people believe that parsad is beneficial for joint pains and skin disease. Must visit.

Wonderful Hindu temple of the goddess. Very ancient and has a lot of cultural heritage. A lot of pilgrims visit this temple to pay respect to the goddess and the goddess is decorated with a lot of jewelry and Pooja is performed with utmost sincerity.

Great devotional place where you can come, meditate observe peaceness. If one wanted to know Indian culture than this could also be one place to visit. Where the no. Of people coming for blessing are really high.
