Shali Heights

Have stayed at this amazing place for 3 nights. It was a solo trip and I am surely doing it again with family. There are few things that I would like to highlight- Firstly the Route, scenic-engrossing-gripping especially after bypassing Shimla. Second, the village and its hospitality, met few villagers who all treated me as a family. Third, the Food, Pahadi ghar ka khana served with love, especially the Sidu (must try) and phudina-anar dane ki chutney. Fourth, the host, Sanjay ji, as he is from the hospitality background he was proactive in managing the stay and experience. He also has deep knowledge about shimla, its colonial history, trekking and mountaineering which led to great talks at length while taking village/farm walks.
