Food was very delicious. Their crispy honey chilli cauliflower was the highlight. The mutton in the biryani was very well cooked and very soft. Naan was excellent!
Interesting choice of using brass utensils and plates.
Service was very friendly and quick. Would definitely recommend!

V good tandoori food, Don’t miss their specialities. Service is very good. Jagdish Thakur ji attended us and his suggestions are also very good.

I visited here on the suggestion on one of my friends and let me tell you it was not worth it.
A half butter chicken for 500 and a butter naan for 90 each, and taste was sub-standard. In hindi I would say, Insaan khaana waha khata hai jaha paise kharch hone par dukh na ho lekin yaha aapko apne mehnat ke paise ka worth nahi milega. Khaana humesha value for money hona chahiye as per my thought. Aap 1000 rupees pay kar rahe ho aur waha aapko utne ki value na mile toh waha nahi jaana chahiye. Baaki bade bade logon ki badi badi baatein hai. Paisa aapka choice aapki.
In short, not worth it.

Worst experience…. Incoperative staff members…. The person sitting at reception their manager is soo rude…. He don’t have manners to cope with the customers…. Don’t ever visit…. Although food was okay okay but the staff was too rude

The people at this place and the staff give importance to their caste people at first and next to other people.we waited for 50 minutes today.but the staff made us wait for a very long time but they do send other people who came after us. I have never seen this kind of treatment till date in India anywhere.worst staff ever.

Food quality is zero and staff is very rude like he is saying to his costumers (wo Raha bahr ka darwaza) very I'll mannered staff. Will never visit again.and I suggest all to never visit sher-e-punjab.like hell restaurant.

Amazing food as usual. All Sher-e-Punjab have the best food in town. Jagdish Thakur, the restaurant manager was very courteous and gave us an outstanding service.

Prices are too high (500 for a veg main course vegetable) and service is so terribly bad and ambience is not good for the price we are paying.
No one is ready to listen to you, we were sitting helplessly for 20 mins as no one was coming to take the order. It left me so infuriated.
I'll recommend you to go to Cafe 1986 instead of this if you are willing yo pay so much money.
Cafe 1986 is much much satisfactory.

The food was excellent, but that’s where the good things stop. Horrible customer service and entitled behaviour. The lady in charge enquired twice in the space of 5 mins as to why we were not done with our food. Felt like we were free loaders eating out of their pockets. The bill curiously can’t be brought to your table, and you have to go downstairs to the cashier and wait for 10 mins. Shock horror, 5 Mins ago they were chasing us out and yet wasted our time during billing.

It is such a shame as the food is best in Manali, but the folks managing it need to hang their heads in shame. Pathetic

Loved the food very authentic taste, and Mr Jagdish the order taker was very quick and responsive, enjoyed our food very much

It's located at the prime location of the mall road thats the one star and the place looks nice so another star. Otherwise there is nothing to talk about it. The butter chicken gravy was too sweet and the chicken wasn't cooked properly. The waiters have no idea about the content of the food. The naan was bland and rubbery, the quantity was too less but the price was too much. Washroom was clean though. So that's a plus even if you don't like the food.

Worst place to eat. Ordered Vegetarian food but got non vegetarian instead. To top it off, they were arrogant about it, like this sort of thing is supposed to happen. Also the place is way overpriced and the the quality is really bad. Highly "not recommended"

Undoubtedly the best Punjabi Dhaba in Manali. The riverside view is perfect and the food is delicious. The ambience is unique and very well done.

Worst food ever had they served us burnt food and we complaint it thet did not even replaced it and moreover charged us full amount cafe 1947 just next to this is extremely good.this place is really waste of money and time

Stale chicken. Has the smell on it. Sauce was not even 10% of Mexican taste. We ordered barbeque chicken on 06-01-2022. It was the worst taste ever had and I personally can say with experience that the chicken was older than 2 days. They serve it in Manali means it is more than 2 days old as temperature stays low.

0 stars if possible. Manager was so rude that it made me leave the place immediately. Staff is not helpful, I'll recommend that it's better to spend money at a good place

Too much waiting time. The food was not that tasty. Expensive also. The worst part is they took half an hour to bring the rotis. Till then our hunger died. According to the rates the food was okayish. But waiting period really was bad. Do not go if you are hungry and don’t want to waste your money. Overhyped.

Very costly … 1 egg omelette will cost you Rs. 120 & that too without bread slices. Poor Cholle Bhature & stuffed parantha served without salt …. Will suggest everyone not to go there

Punjabi thali with Butter Naan (5/5)

We had here Famous Fish Trout.damn yum! I guess this one was barbequed. Taste which I'll never forget. The taste was best because of the freshness of this fish. Over all everything was best.

I had forgot my wallet with cards in it. And forgot to ask restaurant if they accept online payment. After having lunch. I ask them to take upi or any other mode of payment but they denied. They didn't seemed to co operate any other way. Finally we have to roam around and arrange for cash. It was pathetic. As in the digital world they accept only cash or card. Manager was awful. DONT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. FOOD IS ALSO NO SO GOOD. THERE ARE MANY CAFE YOU COULD GET AWSOME FOOD.

The place is well located on the mall road, we were a bit hesitated in the start as we were not sure whether the food will be good or not.

But the food quality and portion was really good if you look at the price, we ordered Rajma and Rice for ₹270 for two people and it was enough.

The customer service here can obviously be improved but what to expect in a tourist place where the shopkeepers know they will make money anyway.

Good Place to have a quality food in Manali. Restaurant is very neat and food is very tasty. Punjabi themed restuarant, ambience is good and especially they have running hot water for washing hands which is much needed in Manali 0°C temperatures.

One of the best places for North Indian food. Service is quite good and so is the quantity. Food tastes very delicious. We tried chicken starters, naan and butter chicken. Each dish has a different taste and was very filling as well. Lassi tastes good here!

Worst service.waited 45 mins for food to be delivered.and still when it was delivered.ordered a drink and never got it.ordered extra roti and waited 20 mins for that.not worth to visit.

We were 5 and ordered Butter Chicken, Kadhai Chicken, Naan and Lachha Parantha. The taste was good and rate is also fine. But all of us fell ill while travelling back to Delhi. All of us had severe loose motions and it made our journey very difficult.

Amazing place for authentic Punjabi food. When I visited they had all Indian food in menu available and no Chinese or continental items from menu.

Jaggery is served after food which I like in all Punjabi restos. They accept cards. Love their varities and antique type door knobs.

This restaurant is very attractive in the middle of the famous Manali mall road market. They provide good quality and tasty food. There is almost crowdy here. They also have washroom facility. Waters here are polite and helpful. They provide both veg and non veg you can chooce many option in breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Rubbish food & attitude of manager seems like he's the freaking king of Manali lol. I would suggest not to have food from here.

Went there for dinner.
The food was nothing more thn OK whether it was mutton rogan rosh or dal makhani. Garlic naan were real disappointment.
Still the highlight was their pathetic service, had to wait for more thn 20 minutes to be served even tht could have been understandable but waiting for 5-6 minutes for a butter roti while having meal is surely gonna upset u as well.
Won't recommend to anyone that's for sure.

One of the better restaurants on mall road. The food is tasty and the staff are polite and always pay attention to the wish of the customer.

There are many restaurants near mall but according to me sher e punjab is the best.the food quality and quantity both are outstanding.but the price is slightly higher.but that totally fits in with the quality of food they provide.the staffs were well behaved.and you can actually enjoy the punjabi environment here.but one problem is they takes comparatively more time to serve your food.they also provide gur after having your food.the sweet lassi is a must try there.

We ordered chicken curry rice 6 chapati yesterday and it was only 260 rupesh. It is less price and quality food. Please try it once.

Me and my family had a dinner at Sher-e-Punjab on 1st Nov'19 and the experience was fabulous. The food was authentic as we had both veg and non veg. The ambiance is really Punjabi and staff is nice. It was worth having food there. Try Keema Naan or Keema Parantha with gravy, it was awesome. The Afghani Chicken was equally tasty. Also, worth trying is Malai Kofta. Highly Recommended. Thank you Sarbjit ji for a wonderful experience.

Sher E Punjab is a nice restaurant to visit in Manali. It is located in main market The Mall road of Manali. We have ordered Subji, Naan and lassi. Food was nice. Taste of Subji was medium spicy and less oily. Butter Naan was soft and smooth. Lassi was nice. Interior theme/concept gives a glimpse of village. Gives you earthy feeling. I totally enjoyed food at Sher E Punjab.

Food was not good at all and service was even poor.

We ordered butter chicken and dal makhni with butter naan and roti. Firstly they took more than 15-20 min to get the order and when we got the food it was not good. Quantity was ok but quality was extremely bad.

Butter chicken was too sweet. Seemed like they added sugar instead of salt. In comparison to butter chicken, dal makhni was ok but not great.
