If you are visiting Bhagsu waterfall then you need to walk more above 150m to reach Shiva Cafe. It will be worth visiting and this place is full of vibes. You will see less crowd.

You can start Triund trek from this place.

This is the best cafe in the whole of mcleodganj. The therapeutic sound of water from the river brings a sense of calmness. The cool breeze ensures we are breathing the life in with every breath we take. I love to sit outside by the river. Food is awesome. Service is a bit slow and the obvious reason is the crowd. To beat the crowd, don't wait for them to come to the table and take orders instead of going to the counter and order there itself. And while they prepare your food, you just sit by the beautiful view and take it all in. P.s. - It involves a km of hiking to reach there.

If you catch yourself here on a snowy day you were probably the luckiest block on earth that day. Summer hike here could bw a normal hike upkill for a scenic view. Food is great but this place is always crowded so if you are a peace seeker. Go as early as possible for the hike.

The cafe is located approximately a km away from the Bhagsunag Temple. It's like a decent trek which leads you to the cafe.

The vibe of the cafe is ultimate with the beautiful scenic views. The food though is not very good and things available at the cafe is quite expensive.

I give the Cafe a 5 star for the location. 3 stars would be for what is being provided there. Once you are there it's actually not about the food or drinks any more, it's about solace!

One needs to do a little trekking to get to the cafe. There is seating that's outside as well as inside. The songs being played there were soothing which was actually being played via phone of one of the people working there at the counter.

Shiva cafe is quite the trek uphill in Bhagsu. But the trek is worth it! It gives a breathtaking view of the waterfalls and is a great place to chill. Do definitely try their lemon ginger honey tea. It soothes the soul.

Used to be the secret, but it’s out now! So try reaching a bit early for a pleasant brunch when there’s less rush around the bhagsu falls area. There’s ample seating now, comfortable lowlying indoors and spacious benches out in the sun. Lots on the menu to order, just suits your mood, it’s all really well cooked and sumptuous here.
Take the steps a few meters before the bhagsu waterfall, and it’s a 5-7 min walk up from here. It’s worth the effort for sure!

One of the most popular cafes in Mcleod if not the most popular cafe is Shiva Cafe.
Reaching the cafe takes anywhere between 30 min to an hour depending on your speed to ascend.

Coming to the things We ordered, we had:
- Corn & Cheese Pizza (decent)
- Veg Maggi (nothing extraordinary)
- Nutella Pancake (good)
- Hot Chocolate (basic)
- Cold Coffee (again basic)

In simple words, the food here is good but not great. But the experience is what attracts everyone. The view from the top is astonishing & the rustic decor looks good.
This place is definitely slightly overhyped but We’d still recommend that you visit this cafe once primarily for the experience & the view.

You have to trek for an hour or so to reach this place from Bhagsu however the journey is worth it. The view from the cafe is beautiful. You can see the waterfall from the backside. There's a trail to get down too from the backside. Coming to the cafe itself, the ambience is very hippie with spiritual books and quotes in offering. You can play your own music on request. The staff is fun to interact with, the service is quick. Their pancakes are delicious, so is almost every item in the dessert section. Special mention for the special herbal tea.
Overall, a must visit place in Mcleodganj to experience good view, food, and atmosphere.

It was a trip to Mcleodganj with my friends to explore triund trek before heading towards triund we decided to take a glimpse of Bhagsunag Waterfall which itself is a small trek to reach there.

But to my surprise i heard about shiva cafe 70m above waterfall so we finally decided to have some sippin and munchin i was amazed to see this jaw dropping beautiful cafe surrounded by all lush green mountains and as the name suggest image of shiva at the front making it look more peaceful and relaxed.

The cafe offers a much needed resting place where you can sit in peace and enjoy your hot coffee and flavoursome food. We tried spring rolls, pizza and chicken burger trust me friends it was amazingly delicious. I can never expect something like this on top of the mountains. It was worth it visiting bhagsunag and then further trekking towards shiva cafe.

I could see no one wanted to sit inside the cafe although it was beautiful inside with eye catchy decor but everyone wanted to sit in natures lap and spend some moments of peace.

Must visit place if you are going mcleodganj.

Once you go there, you will have a life time memories. Best track and best food. Worth it to go. You have to climb like 1km up hill to reach there. But view and ambiance is awesome.

Excellent views. Peaceful if people keep it so. Short trek up the bhagsunaag waterfall. Must visit for youngsters. You get beautiful sunset views from the place. Probably spend good 3-4 hours with tea, Maggi and the view. It has a legacy attached to it
A harder route of trek to triund starts from here. Not known to many and not recommended for beginners.

The service is very poor. The waiter did not come to take our order for almost 15 mins. I had to place my order at the counter. The food is reasonably priced. View is amazing. There are many sitting areas with different views.

Amazing place, amazing food. Did not expect it to be this good considering its geographical location. And the trek was absolutely worth it.

The arrangements, natural beauty, location and diversity in tourist was amazing. Location was really peaceful. From my side I don't like the food very much. Food was overpriced and at same time boring. Hope it will upgrade next time.

All the likings are for the location of the Cafe and the ambience They have a lot of options on the hill with waterfall by the side. Wonderful view. Israeli food is also available.

Not worth the whole trek up to the cafe. The food was average and the service was pathetic. Go there for the view and not the food. The food is overpriced for obvious reasons.

Though the climb was tough it was worth the pain I went there at evening it was chilly beautiful adding to that the sun was setting so it became one of the best memories

Awesome location. Just beside Bhagsu falls. The clouds continuously play hide n seek with you. You can see and hear the Bhagsu Falls gushing down with full force. Both outdoor and indoor options. Great food variety, considering it is around 1 km hiking distance from Mcleodganj taxi stand. Even if you come only to enjoy the ambience you wont be disappointed.

If ever ambiance could do wonders to a place, one must visit this place to get the experience. Imagine sitting amidst mountains with clouds wafting into the place, with the gushing sound of waterfall for company. That's what Shiva cafe offers. Located above the Bhagsunag falls, Mc Loedganj, one has to walk quite a distance to reach here but the walk is worthwhile. You may choose from sitting in the open air by the falls or in the indoors with loud music and a motely of quotes and wall art. The menu is wide spread with a variety of options like pizzas, pastas, Chinese, etc. The food is good, the ambiance is mind-blowing. It's a cash only place. It's a must visit. Visit with time in your hand, enjoy the place.

Bad service, took a long time for order to fulfill, even when food came it was cold and tasteless.staff was very rude.would have given it zero star.

Best cafe in MacLeodganj. Its a small trek to reach here, but worth it. Try the hukka and Lemon Ginger Tea.
