Wonderful temple and location too. Not too crowded and bit secluded. The scenic views enroute are also quite fascinating.

It is a wonderful pilgrim place to visit. We enjoyed the temple visit but due to heavy rain on the day we faced some problems to reach at the destination as the road is very narrow. However we enjoyed very much. May Goddess bless all.

A very beautiful temple has been situated in the range of Dhaoladhar. Beautiful temple you can reach there after 30 minutes of driving. This holy shrine is situated about 7 kms from Bundla Mata Temple and 5 kms from Palampur. It's a steep climb up to the temple, so it is ideal to take a car instead of choosing to walk. However, physically fit people can try hiking up to the temple. The temple is located at a vantage point, from where the view of the Dhauladhar range, the valley and the rural human settlements is simply spectacular.

A lovely mountain drive will take you to Jakhni Mata, a small temple situated on a hilltop with serene surroundings and offering awesome views of the valley. You will be welcomed by the sweet smell of pines and the soothing sound of wind cutting through the leaves of these trees. I really enjoyed the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the temple, which must have been because of its location amidst pine forest on a secluded hill away from the crowd, besides religious reasons. You will hardly find a person or two visiting the temple. You can also trek from Jakhni Mata to Birni and back. It is an easy trek through the pine forest. But the views of the Dhauladhar range that you get on the way are simply out of this world.
Perched at the highest point of Chandanpur in Kangra, the climb to this exotic temple may be arduous and physically demanding, but the view at the top makes it extremely worth the sweat. The vantage point offers spectacular views of the Dhauladhar mountain range, the gorgeous valley of Kangra and the quaint little hamlets sprinkled all over the district.

The temple has cultural and religious values among the Hindu community and is an ideal tourist destination for families exploring Himachal.

Was really amazed to be at this 450 years old temple which is situated at such a beautiful location. A perfect spot where divinity meets inner peace. The temple is beautiful and well maintained that you really want to come here and stay for long.
The views around the temple are breath taking too with an amazing over view of all the Palampur city.

This used to a very small temple some years back but it renovated and made quite big now. The temple is made really beautiful now with wood carving all around the temple. There is ample space in the temple and the view is quite good looking the khad and valley. There are few eating joints also serving momos, Maggie, tea etc. But haven't tried them.

Beautiful temple with a scenic view as it situated at mountain top. Very well maintained and neet and clean and most importantly they sanitised the temple frequently. No entry without mask and also not allowed to touch any idle. There is a food van outside with serves lip smacking snacks specially MAGGI. Limited parking space.

Beautiful place of worship near Palampur on the Chandpur-Holta road. Vehicles can go right up to the temple. The wooden carvings inside the temple is worth a sight

A beautiful temple located at a very good and scenic spot. The area is surrounded by lush green vegetation and the surroundings really elevate your mood. The area also receive snowfall during winters and thus is a great place to enjoy in the snow.

Nice place near palampur for a short tracking. Go for it if u r a beginner in tracking. U can go nd come back within 3 hours

Clouds are near by. Waterfalls made excellent outer atmosphere to attracting peoples towards the temple. And a wish is aaccomplish by Mata shri jakhani devi.

It is placed on very height. This is an ancient Mandir with the history of Jakhni Mata. Ppl often visit here for spiritual as well as tourist mode. It is well maintained with carving wooden walls inside the mandir. Outer view is very beautiful. One can see all around the city from its height. I enjoyed the wonderfull scene of Paragliding of both sides.one from Dharamshala another from Bir billing.very nice view it was.

Great place to visit, good views of Palampur city from the top, also very pleasant view of Himalaya.

Clean temple with a good palampur valley view. A good out space to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Good place for a one day family outing. There is a shop outside the temple which can serve you tea and other refreshments in case you want to enjoy tea with a view. Better to carry some warm clothing during a cloudy day as the mercury dips quickly in this area. The approach road to the temple is single lane but safe and is well constructed. Safe for even small cars to drive through.

Great place but yet to be explored by outsiders, amazing view from the mountain top as its located at the road end. The temple has good infrastructure in traditional himachali architecture. Overall a nice and southing place to visit and the connecting road is also in decent condition.
