Jain Dharmshala is good and very much affordable room start at 300,400 and 990 rupee only.

300 and 400 room have common toilet and bathroom and 990 have seperate.

Food is also affordable but they use Potato not garlic and onion and lots of garam masala.

It's very near to mall road just 100 meter and temple is also on roof which is extremely good.

Must stay.

They provide good quality rooms in cheap price. The staffs are also very nice to the guests.

It's available only for Jain community especially, situated In the Middle bazar shimla

Reasonable prices and quite good rooms not like hotels but i like staying in simple places like this one but they didn't provide any towels or other things may be because of rates they offer but they should at some extra charges, everything else is good about this place

Best place in budget to stay in shimla specially during season timegood services, food, delux room is good enough for families or couple but there is no any view from dharamshala but its location is very nice just some 50+stairs to reach mall road or middle bazaar Or lower market.

This jain dharamshala is just for name sake. They basically allow anyone and everyone to stay. Evening food is cooked mostly after sunset. Rooms are in filthy condition. Full time smoking smells comes in bathroom. Alternate day water supply.

Now some good things. Location is ultimate if you have very less luggage. It's in the middle bazaar otherwise use porters which are easily available. You need to climb around 50 stairs to reach the mall road. There is a water, so you don't need to waste money on drinking water. Bedding provided for my deluxe room was good and clean.

The rooms are good for the price, they offer food at reasonable price, the toilets and bathrooms are clean the cheapest room is 300-400

Peaceful atmosphere, Good location very near Mall Road, Christ Church, lakkar bazar and old bus stand Shimla. Clean room with double beds and canteen also available.

Most economical place to stay in shimla.just below mall road. The jain temple is about 150 years old with awesome serene environment.

The staff behaviour was really bad and the guy who was in the reception was arrogant, he doesn't know how to speak to a lady. Won't recommend this place to anyone.

Basic amenities are missing, this could be cheap and best accommodation all over Shimla if committee members shall take care of normal visitors including their iwn VVIP visitors who didn't left any of the deluxe rooms for booking throughout the season.

The only thing I appreciate is the homely made food that was served here, which was the actual reason for us to keep staying here for 2 nights ir else this is not a great place to stay while you are on vacations except you got advance booking for deluxe rooms.

I had a comfortable stay. Feedback for the bhojnalaya. <br/>1. The lady and the gentleman who is preparing and serving food was very much rude and arrogant to us. They forced us to have food compulsorily which we denied and their aggressive behaviour towards us started. <br/>2. The way they served the breakfast to us also was very rudely. Hence we did not like to eat. They were very bossy and behaving as if they are the owner of the dharmshala. <br/>3. In the name of jain dharmshala bhojnalaya, they are serving non jain food also. <br/>4. As per the rule, the food and tea should not be served in room still we noticed that the lady was not following this rule and was asking the guest where do u want to eat in room or here. <br/>Last but not the least. She upfrontly told us to leave the room and go since we were not having food at her place. She told that it is compulsory to have food in bhojnalaya, if u stay here. As per my knowledge. No where it was mentioned to have food in the bhojnalaya compulsorily. Then who is she to demand that from us? She doesn't have that right.

Very good place to stay in Shimla
It is very near to most of The attraction in Shimla like, The Mall road, The Ridze, The Christ Church, Scandal point, and even near to The Jakhu hanuman Mandir,
It is very best place to stay at very cheap price and even very superb clean rooms they are offering to you

Good Place for Jain Persons if you not need Royal or Luxury services. Food is reasonable price. Connected with Mall Road

Worst place to go. Black spot on Jain Dharma. All jains never go to this place. Today morning I had tuff time here

It's a big time they should remove Jain dharamshala word from this place's name. Everyone should complain about this place if there is any Central committee maintaining this. This Dharamshala is completely dirty. I don't know for what reason but this Dharamshala is given to non jain people as well. People smoke inside, consume alcohol. You can smell cigarette everywhere. The incharge is very rude person. He didn't allow me a stay even when the rooms were available. After 3 hours of waiting he allowed me a room. It was a complete mess and stinking very badly. Toilets were full of cigarette filters. A friendly couple runs a canteen here. They serve good food, but at the same time they also serve onions, potatoes till 10 pm. This place doesn't deserve to be called a Jain Dharamshala. This place is disgrace to all Jains.
