We went in off season in the month of February. While most of the homestays were closed, Shruthi homestay provided is with all amenities. Hot water, heater, dinner and breakfast (we did not stay for lunch) all when it was snowing and making the amenities available is difficult. Our stay was memorable.
We wanted to book this property because they are written everywhere "Pet Friendly". When we call at the property, they said not for dog. It was strange, because 90% of the people takes dog as pet. Then I told him, that why you wrote pet friendly, then he ask, for which date, I share the date. He said for the said date property is full, but I check and it was actually available on booking and makemytrip web site.
We stayed in their cottage and it was spacious and warm. Bathroom though kept smelling. Service is really good and location is perfect as they have view of Himalayas from room. They also have a garden in front of rooms which kids really enjoyed. They have wooden and chairs in garden itself where we did enjoy our dinner and breakfast, i will call that a good and unique experience.
