Silver Linings Cafe

Tried the famous banoffie pie, masala chai, veg cheese omelette and all of it was too good. I went here to work n chill and it had a great wifi and charging stations were also available. The vibe in the low season was great too. Would definitely recommend for working in the midst of nature

Most recommended cafe in Bir! Their cheese cakes and pies are something to die for. We tried the Pasta and Banofie pie, lovedddd it.

However I'll suggest the chef to make more Eggless cheesecakes too, apart from Banofie pie.we would really really love to try them as well. Just love this place so much, owners are very warm and humble.

The cafe has a book shelf with really interesting books!

Best place to chillout with friends with unlimited time, there is no time barriers to sit there, one of a best cafe i ever visited in my travel period

The food and service can be improved. We waited for a lot of time for our order and eventually canceled one of them because even after 45 minutes, we didn't receive our order. It might be because they were too short staffed or something else, but it could have been better.

Silver Linings Cafe is one of the best cafes at Bir Landing Site. It is situated in the middle of the field. They have an organic farm area & the cafe is built in an old mud house style. One can enjoy food with a beautiful view of nature & mountains.

I enjoyed breakfast of Mushroom Cheese Omelette with Honey Ginger Lemon Tea. One of the best Honey Ginger Lemon tea I have tried so far. Food quality & the taste was just superb. In Desserts, I tried Banoffee pie and it was too good.

It's a very nice place to chill & relax having farms around. Reception area is made like a Mudhouse & bakery items were so delicious.

The sandwich was good. Drinks too. Didn't like the creamy pasta much, there was broccoli in it which I don't prefer but I feel even without the broccoli it won't have been that good. Finished all of it off with a brownie because the famous banoffie pie wasn't available. The brownie was good.

Tried the banana walnut cake. Finer lemon honey both were awesome. Located far off with a 12 min walk from the main cafe area but good show guys

This quaint cafe is located very close to the Bir landing site. Serves the best breakfast and freshly baked cakes.

They have a few seating options inside. But if you like eating with a backdrop of greenery-thry have cane chairs n tables set outside too.

My go to place if I'm craving desserts. Their Banana walnut dry cake and the apple pie are my favorites.

I frequently go here for their Eggplant Sandwich which is my favourite! The juices and smoothies are amazing and so is the mushroom cheese omlette

Handsdown you'll get the best Americano here. They make amazing pastas as well. It's my favourite place to just sit with friends or read alone.

But one thing that I love the most is the Mangofee Pie which is only available between March to June depending on the mango season. If you're travelling to Bir during this time don't miss the Mangofee Pie!

Located in a traditional Himachali stone-hut with spacious grassy lawns surrounded by corn-fields, Silver Linings Café attracts a classy crowd fond of good coffee and baked items. Bring a book and linger here with a coffee or watch sparrows feeding off well-stocked bird-feeders.

The place is famous for it’s pie’s and it was amazing but the chocolate pancake was below average

Loved the food! I had virgin mojito here and it is something that you can’t skip at all! It had a really refreshing taste, quite unlike the ones I have tasted in Bir or anywhere else. Their pastries are amazing and make sure you go in the morning (before 10) to get them, or else they are all sold out. The ambience is good but the seating is less. The hosts are quite good though the service is a tad bit slow. They have a couple of cute pahadi dogs in the cafe area and they are adorable!

Had banana banoffe pie, eggplant sandwich, pancake Nutella, French toast, walnut banana cake.so I can say I'm foody. Nice place.dog friendly. In centre of the nature. Wonderful experience. Thanks.

Really special little cafe - cosy, home from home. Felt well cared for by lovely team. Could sit there (as some do) for the whole day munching away and sipping delicious chai!

Food is literally a wow!
We tried pancakes, pasta, latte, cold coffee, omelette with veggies.each item above was so very good in taste and presentation.

Overrated. Go to ammas cafe right in front of silver lining. Real south Indian food and yummy too after my last visit from chennai something legitimate to pronounce as south Indian

I love this place, it's quite peaceful and one of the oldest cafes in Bir. The sunset view from this cafe used to be beautiful.a lot more construction has come up. It still has those vibes and the food is amazing. If it's not crowded, you will enjoy your peace and food there.

If you are visiting Bir, you should definitely visit this place.

It is a very quiet and beautiful place nearby Bir landing site. The food was delicious and the staff was also very friendly. The pancakes, French toast and smoothies are must haves.

Silver Linings became the de-facto place for breakfast for me while I was in Bir. An early morning walk to grab a coffee and a slice of Mangofee pie before it ran out was definitely the highlight of my day. The Thakur brothers are excellent hosts and make fantastic desserts. The aforementioned Mangoffee pie had me speechless the first time I tried it. Highly recommend this place for the food, views, and the pies!

This place sits right on the lap of nature, with a muddy hut surrounded by trees and fields. It's a perfect place for a date, especially an evening one. Or you could just go grab a sandwich while watching the sunset from the Landing point nearby.

The coffee is excellent and the food while simple is really good. The people who run the cafe are just awesome

Cafe has this peaceful vibe to it. One can sit here and enjoy the coffee and never get enough of it. The Banoffee pie is a must try here.

Ordered just the coffee and tea- the ambience and outdoor seating with a feeling of sitting inside the cornfields and the warm sun light plus the cool breeze- all made for a perfect evening tea/ coffee sit-out. Wanted to try their banofee pie and the pancake but they ran out of it- will hopefully go again soon to ensure that I don't miss out on it.

It was a quiet little cafe that my friends had called me to. I really enjoyed the peace and the lush greenery around. The food was good. You should try the Mushroom & Cheese Omellette. If you want to go for something heavy, go for the Silver Linings Smoothie (only if you like peanut butter smoothie). They can arrange power sockets outside (if you are sitting on the right side) if you want to work on ur laptop. Overall, it's a nice and quiet place to chill.

The service were very slow and the food was so bland. They made us wait for more than 30mins after ordering and didn't even bother to inform us that it's gonna take time. Infact the food wasn't so nice.

Post our lunch in Avva's Cafe we went here however we didn't get the chance to eat Banoffee pie which is one of the popular dessert.
Ate Pancake which was quite descent.

Mark my words, you will fall in love with this place. The cafe setup will remind you of a tiny house located in a small village, away from any hustle and bustle. There's ample place in front of the cafe, an outdoor dining kind of, where you can chill all day. The food here is amazing. The white sauce pasta which I had here is one of the best pastas I have tasted in my life. Banofe pie, pancakes, variety of smoothies, salads are some other delicacies to try here. The best thing about this place is you can sit/even sleep all day here in the backyard and soak up the Sun without any disturbance. Also, be ready to be showered with some pawsome cuddles here

Nice little place in Bir. Sitting can be increased a little, especially outside. Few mats will do. Decent lentil burger, not the best considering took around 40 mins. Potato wedges were good. Banoffee pie was too creamy than other layers that day.

We did not have a good experience as we got the food after atleast 45min. Also, we highlighted two small requests (no mushroom in pasta and pancakes to be provided fresh at the end of all the orders), none of the requests were respected.

A lovely unpretentious cottage with promise of a non fussy meal that you can enjoy at your own pace. You may take this time to be just in the moment and unwind and gather your self for the next step in your itinerary

One of the oldest and best cafe in Bir.
Amazing breakfast options, specially their omelettes. Banofee Pie and Mangofee Pie are a must, so is other specials they bake. Juices are a new addition to the menu also really good.

My fave cafe in Bir. This place has my heart. From the amazing carrot cake and banoffee pie, to it's french toast, potato wedges, pastas and iced tea. This place is a cozy place that feels like home from the get go with amazing views, friendly owners and cuddly doggos.

I had one of the best and the cheapest banoffe over here. Just nearby landing site, place is good, food quality above average, need lot of improvement when it comes to pan cakes.

Worst experience ever. The staff traumatized all the customers in the cafe by beating up little puppies who they were playing with. The iced coffee I ordered was warm and below average. Dont recommend

Bir is anyway famous for its tiny cafes and this is a one of the best. Very chill and silent cafe, great food and relaxed seating.

We tried pancakes with fruits, cheese and tomato sandwich and veg cheese omelette. All 3 dishes were incredible. This is a must visit cafe in bir.

Most of the people might not agree with me but I really didn’t like the place. First thing, the Behavior of the staff was somewhat rude. I asked for his recommendation as to what should I order but he just said everything is awesome and then I ended up eating a Banoffee pie. It’s was good but I believe the price was also really good too. For a traveller like me, it’s off the list. Good for tourists but not for budget travellers.

This Cafe is one of the best I have seen in the mountains till now. Serving amazing coffees and food. The brownie was great. Kudos to the owner who is running such a beautiful place and doing everything to make it beautiful.

This is a cute little mud-house cafe, very near to the landing-site, serving yum home-made drinks & cakery products. Should definitely be visited when in Bir.

Very nice place to eat and awesome environment, great food even u can bring your pets like dogs. You can play indoors games like chess and white n black stone game card games.

This cafe was an absolute surprise. It's so good that we went there for breakfast and went again for lunch. Ambience is quite chilled out. Everything about this cafe is very authentic and earthy. The cafe is made in a sustainable traditional mud which keeps it cool. You can sit in their ground and have a good picnic feel. Food is made with a lot of care and is absolutely delicious. You can try anything here and you won't feel disappointed. Must try their mango pie. Something you'll never have anywhere else.

A decent enough cafe with close proximity to landing site. Good menu options. There are vegan options as well! Portion size is better than many other cafes around.
